There were some urgent fixes made to the composer and the theme, the composer is now version 2.1. If you are currently experiencing issues you can download the latest theme package and install it. There should not be anymore issues. Let us know.

Check if the tagDiv composer has updated automatically (it should be version 2.1 – theme version 8.7.1). In some cases it fails to do so, update the tagDiv composer and multi-purpose plugins manually if that is the case.
The theme version is now 8.7.1, there were some fixes made. Re-download the theme package and install it. Let us know if you still have problems.

When i see all messages, site slower, amp problem, i’m little bit affraid to install it.
I use AMP for WP plugin and i want to know if we can deactivate the AMP mode in Newspaper theme?
And if have no conflict with them?
This is interesting, I also found some of my page directed to AMP and some not.. But, I don’t care about that. In my prespective AMP just to improve blog search rank (Google should love more blog with AMP) and leave visitor with article in ad, so it will increase my ads click.
That why I prefer to uninstall TD mobile and use TD AMP instead, bacause Newspaper mobile responsive theme.
For me, whatever it will be show on google page with AMP or not, it doesn’t matter.. Just my opinion.

Hi I have installed the plugin but now site is giving 500 error.
I renamed the plugin folder and loaded the site back.
Again tried to enable TD Composer from Theme Plugin panel but no luck… Whenever I tried to enable any plugin it gives 500 error.

i install new theme (newspaper) in my website, i delete all plugin, but why my featured image not show?

I try to install new update for newspaper. He was unsuccessful. I tried to restore the bup but:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class td_api_block in /XXX/includes/wp_booster/td_api.php on line 452
Tried Uninstalling all the plug in but nothing changes as an ameater i am not a programmer but i ran my site flawlessly for last 3 months. now its very painfull. and i cant add any codes to header.php

Same issue here, reinstalled template, cleared all caches, no cdn os used, disabled cache and the issue persists.
Curious, did you resolve this issue? We just got this error (theme has been acting up a ton since recent updates) and we are using WP Engine. We haven’t installed any new plugin recently.
I don’t know about your installation, but on mine it seems that WPBakery Page Builder (formerly Visual Composer) started hogging more server resources than in the previous version. It worked okay and now, after the update, its queries are sometimes insane. I probably won’t look deeper into it as I’ll eventually ditch it for TD Composer as recommended.

Everything was functional normally yesterday, I did not install or update any plugins. I cleaned the cache (Wp-Super Cache and Cloudflare) without successfully solving the problem.
Obs: This option is enable on theme settings.
How can i fix it?

I am in a similar situation looking for similar functionality. I have installed buddypress latest (2.9.3) but looking at the documentation, the only thing I can see written about it is that “newspaper” supports buddypress 2.1.x.
-Is there further documentation available regarding the buddypress integration?
-Do I need to install a much earlier version of buddypress for it to work correctly?

I’m using the Newspaper 8.1 right now, and I want to update to the 8.7.1.
But all the methods in this link (https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/) will remove my modifications, right?
I don’t want to set everything again.
How can I update without losing my modifications?
I thought I could use a child theme. Can I do that? If so, how can I install my child theme now, using my modifications? After that, I could install the main theme, deleting the old one and not losing every change I made.
Or some other better idea?

Ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme, remove all of the untested plugins, clear all the caches and check the results. If the problems are still there, I suggest you make a new clean install from scratch to another subdomain for testing and check the results.

ok thanks, I installed multi-purpose. WP widgets like Tags cloud are not available ?
And after installing multi-purpose, I noticed that a few images were added to my medias library that can’t be deleted ? I delete them from dashboard, they come back, I tried through ftp same, is there a way to delete them ?

That is not caused by theme, it is caused by caching. Theme does not have caching. Please clear all caches installed (cache plugins, caches provided by hosting, CDN if used) and check the results.
