Pls help,

after update to 8.5.1 there is a error on every page:

wp booster error:
td_api_base::mark_used_on_page : a component with the ID: td_api_sub_footer_template is not set.

wp booster error:
Missing parameter: ‘file'”

reinstalled the theme, disabled all plugins, problem persists.

i can toggle it on/off via “theme panel -> footer -> sub footer”. How can I get rid of this error?

Thanks!

Hi,

Still the missing class is not present on the grid, only on that category page. It would be hard and maybe not a good solution to give you a CSS code fix for the issue. I suggest to try and reinstall the theme, that should fix this weird issue
https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Please try this suggestion and check the results. Let us know if there still is a problem.

Hi,

There are modules/blocks that feature a Read more button, in this topic there is a list of modules and blocks that have it

Hi,

The child theme included in the package will work properly with the theme. Simply copy the child theme folder in the themes folder in your WordPress install. Main theme has to be active before activating the child theme
https://www.screencast.com/t/i7I4Wq7y
There would be no problem if this is what you are doing.

Thanks

Hi,

It seems the demo did not install properly, there are many problems from what I can see. Please uninstall the demo and deactivate all plugins except theme plugins. Then install the demo again. There should be no problem. Let us know otherwise.

Thanks

Hi,

This problem was fixed in theme version 8.5.1, so there should be no problem. Please deactivate the multi-purpose plugin and remove it. Then install it again from the latest theme package you have downloaded. Check the results after doing this.

Thanks

Hello Roundglass,

I have inspected your entire website and I saw that you have loaded many styles from more themes which are loaded together which is not a right thing and we do not recommend doing something like this, sorry! -> https://www.screencast.com/t/dbYG25U5 It’s weird what happens on your website, sorry! Please keep in mind that we cannot offer support for your additional customization and if you want to help you in the future, you should make a new clean install from scratch to another sub-domain only with our theme, without any untested plugins.

Regarding the latest request, here is talking about the td-banner-wrap-full container and it’s empty because you do not have any banner ads inside this, sorry! If you will remove it, when you add some ads you will not see them.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi,

That would be an internal server error. Please try to deactivate all plugins except theme plugins and clear all caching installed. Then check if the mobile theme is working properly. If the error is still present then it could be server related, see this guide
http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-fix-the-internal-server-error-in-wordpress/
Also check the theme system status and ask the hosting provider to make modifications if needed to the parameters
https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/

Hello itduck2020,

Please make sure that your theme’s update has been correctly made via FTP way because this is the surest theme method in this case. Also, if you are using some untested plugins, try to disable all of these and leave just to active only the plugins that come bundled with the theme core files and rule out any conflicting plugins. If the problem is still there, you should make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way to another sub-domain and check the results.

Hope this helps!

Thanks.

Hello dr_vibe,

First of all, please make sure that you are using the latest theme version installed via FTP way and also, the WordPress version should have to be 4.9.1 because in that version should have to be resolved all the old problems regarding on sidebar’s problems. Another problem, in this case, would be regarding on this topic here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/the-content-of-the-newly-created-widjet-disappears/ Otherwise, if your backup was not done correctly you should recreate your all widgets.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi,

I’ve downloaded and upgraded to the newest version of Newspaper theme.
When I try to install the child theme in /code folder, it says “Can’t find parent theme Newspaper”. How can I solve this issue?

Is there a newer child theme to download? The one in package says it’s for Newspaper 7.7. Seems kinda oldish.

Thank you.

I installed this plugin, and in my mobile version the site stopped working, error code 500

Yes we have lots of users that have buddypress installed and we have no reports of it slowing down the site. The plugin is among the tested and recommended plugins to use with our theme so there should be no issues with it.

Thank you!

Yes,
Tried both ways.
1) Installing WP, then rename theme and install theme.
2) Installing WP keep theme name same and later on put renamed theme.

In both way it doesnt work.
I will recommend you to test it on your localhost so that you can know the real cause of the issue.

Hi,

Try reinstalling the theme plugins after changing the theme folder and stylesheet name. Delete them from the plugins folder, and reinstall them from the theme plugins panel. There will be errors if they are active when you change the theme name and activate it.

Thanks

Hello su,

Ensure that you are using the latest theme version installed via FTP way because this is the surest method in this case and then, check your system status parameters to be increased according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Hello menj,

Make sure that you are using the latest theme version installed via FTP way because this is the surest method in this case. Most likely, this error happens due to an inappropriate install and that’s why I recommend you to make a new clean install.

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Thanks for your understanding!

Hello,
Yes I did the same. I have made a fresh wp install without any extra plugin installed Newspaper theme and bundled plugin.
The issue appears from Multipurpose & tagdiv page builder shortcodes they are not working.
Without these two plugins theme works.
So i suspect Multipurpose or tagdiv page builder checks theme name before it can be applied.
If you can remove that restriction of name. May be it would work?

Hi,

As it currently is there is no guide that I could provide you for changing the theme name. You can make tests with changing the theme name.
Try deactivating all plugins including theme plugins. Change the folder name and stylesheet name. Activate the new theme in WordPress settings. Reinstall theme plugins. Then check the results.

Thanks

Hello Laszlo,

I Have inspected your setup page and I saw that you are using some untested plugins which can interact with the theme core files and causes a lot of unknown issues. Try to disable all of these, leave just to active only the plugins that come bundled with the theme core files and rule out any conflicting plugins. I have tested this functionality on my end and it seems to work as expected. If the problem is still there, try to make a new clean install to another sub-domain and install the theme via FTP way and check the results.

Thanks for the message!
