Hi,
I cannot replicate this issue. The row layout settings are working properly
– https://www.screencast.com/t/ULfCiFj9
What you could try is to deactivate all your plugins except the tagDiv composer and the plugins included in the theme package, and clear any installed caching.
Then create a new page and test again. Please let us know if you still have problems.
Thanks
Hello Lipsita,
Notice that the Mega Menu option should have to appears in Menus section when you manage your menus, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/hdAIjvQmklb2 If this option is not there, you should try to make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way because it is possible that your theme installing to be incomplete.
Thanks for the message!
Hello JohnnyUSA,
Sorry for this but please notice that your theme installing it was not done correctly. Please read our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-install-via-wordpress/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-install-via-ftp/ and follow all the steps from here if you want to achieve best theme results.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
I am not sure if that is coming from the theme. It seems to return a 404 page as well. You could try as a first step to deactivate all your plugins except the ones that are provided in the theme package, and clear any caching installed. Then check if the error is still present.
Also check any modification you might have made to the theme by custom code in theme panel, or added code directly in the theme files.
Thanks
Hi Macksix,
I think this is a small detail that can be solved by yourself
Do some tests with the plugins, cache and the php version
My wp-config has the configuration
http://www.screencast.com/t/pm08YTPcDcu
Define (‘WP_DEBUG’, false);
I deactivated all the installed plugins, including “Visual composer”
I deactivated it, permanently.
Do the same, disable the plugins and enable one by one and then clean the cache
See if you have any plugins that have some of these settings
If you find something similar disable the options.
http://www.screencast.com/t/MKZ4dCje
Depending on if you do not find a brief solution
You can install the previous PHP version
Until a new version of the theme is released adapted to the new php version. It would not be possible?
Adding something similar in .htacess
# Habilitar o PHP 7.0
AddHandler application/x-httpd-php70 .php
<IfModule mod_suphp.c>
suPHP_ConfigPath /opt/php70/lib
</IfModule>
Hi,
Like many people here reading the forums it would seem that I made the mistake and updated Visual Composer to version 5.2 which is clear has caused a lot of problems as you know. I followed your advice and deleted 5.2 and re-installed 5.1.1 from the Theme however all the problems are essentially still there.
Is there a current solution to this as I have many pages impacted and I’m not quite sure what to do?
The plugin does not have a valid header.
Downloading install package from https://englishforlife.mk/wp-content/themes/Newsmag/includes/plugins/td-composer.zip…
Download failed. Forbidden
Thank you I will try that. Just a quick question. When I delete the current version of VC. Will it give me an option to keep the data? (I try not to mess with VC if I don’t have to so I don’t know what I reinstall will do).
Thanks!
Hello,
when i tried to install theme it shows this error ” Are you sure you want to do this? ”
Please let me know how can i fix this.
Thank you
http://www.atlradiokorea.com
this is newspaper 8 test site before I upgrade from version 7.
However after I upgrade version 7 to 8, it upgraded successfully, but when I installed “business” demo content, existing four categories are missing and it combined with “uncateigories”
one of category has about 1800 post articles. I don’t know, it related with number of article or not. it only lost large number of post article categories.
I uninstall and tried 5-7 times but it failed to install any of demo contents.
help…
Hi, just installed the theme yesterday and since then have had troubles with the theme panel and its continuous loop.
I’ve set all the parameters as requested, have also deleted the theme and restarted by uploading the folder via FTP.
Uninstalled ALL plugins except the necessary relevant tagdiv ones.
‘and I don’t have a child theme as yet.
Hey.
I tried to install site on wordpress but it gives me error that stylesheet.css is missing? Why is it not in the downloaded package?
The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.
Hi,
If the Adsense code is valid, the theme will display it properly. Please check if is not somehow disabled in the theme panel
– https://www.screencast.com/t/7YVQeYQVJEt
Those options should be disabled by default
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/ads-adsense-overview/
You could try to deactivate all plugins except the ones provided with the theme, remove any modifications you might have made to the theme, and clear any installed cache. Then check if the ad is displayed.
Please note that the theme by default, using only the included plugins and no modifications, displays Adsense ads without any problem. Something must be causing this, you just need to identify what.
Thanks
Hello muratozer,
Please keep in mind that until now, we do not receive any bad reports in this case, sorry! Please try to make a new fresh install to a sub-domain and re-install the WordPress and the theme and use only the required plugins which come bundled with the theme core files and check the results. TD Composer was fully tested with the theme and should not cause any problem with the admin panel accessing, sorry!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
Maybe you have some kind of ad blocker installed in the browser. Try checking with different browsers. If the Adsense code is correct, the theme will display it accordingly
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/ads-adsense-overview/
Thanks
Hi,
The title of the news ticker can be changed in the theme panel, as mentioned above
– https://www.screencast.com/t/s8950xvgN
If you have made the change there and saved the settings it should display accordingly. Maybe you have caching installed, try clearing the cache.
Thanks
Hi,
That is a weird issue. I have not managed to recreate this, or seen it before. If you deactivated all other plugins it means that they are not causing the issue. Check any custom code you might have entered in the theme panel, or maybe added to the theme files.
Switch to the main theme if you use a child theme.
You could try to reinstall the theme, and see if that fixes the problem

Thanks
Hello Eeroshi,
Please notice that if you are using the latest theme version you can use the Visual COmposer as page builder without problems, please do not wrong understand. The latest theme version will be bundled with our page builder and by default, this plugin will be installed but if you do not like it, you simply disable it and enable the Visual Composer. Also, if you want an older version of Newspaper, you should contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and we will provide the theme version desired.
please notice that our theme is in continuous development and if you will not have the latest theme version, probably you will bring some errors and we will not provide an accurate technical support for older theme version, sorry! Notice that all the time you should adapt with the latest versions of everything if you want to bring good results.
Maybe the following useful guide will help you for taking your decision -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
That is happening becasue the Visual composer plugin has been updates to version 5.2. Updates for this plugin are provided in the theme package, after they have been properly tested. This will ensure a full compatibility between the theme and this plugin.
It is strongly not recommended to update Visual composer directly from the author (option available when you have a purchased version)
What you can try is to deactivate and delete the current version you are using, and install the one from the theme package.
Thanks
Hi,
The only multilingual plugin currently tested and supported is the WPML plugin
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-theme-translations-together-wmpl/
You can try other plugins like the one you mention, and see if they are working properly. Follow the plugin instructions and installation carefully, make a few tests and check the results.
Thanks
Hi,
The author name can be removed from the post page, in the theme panel
– https://www.screencast.com/t/N9q9lYLuM
The comment count can be disabled in the same post settings
– https://www.screencast.com/t/to3uWvBg
Each header style has a recommended logo size
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/logo-favicon/
Header styles 9, 10 and 11 do not have a limit for the header logo size. In these header style you can use any size you want
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-styles/
The images and logo displayed should be the same for both versions of the theme. I believe nothing has changed in the theme updates to affect the image quality. Try testing with all plugins disabled on both installs, and upload the same photo. Then check for differences.
Also remove any modifications done through the theme files if there are any (like image filters)
Thanks
Hi,
I believe something is not functioning properly on your website. Please try and re-install the theme using this method
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Then create a new page and use the tagDiv composer and add the items you want, and set it as homepage. Check if everything is working properly

Hello ZAINCHAS,
Errors happened during tdcIframeData.init() -> bindViewsModelsWrappers()!
Please do not use this setting in Seo by Yoast:
https://www.screencast.com/t/n8Cc35EofLh Also, if you are using the WP Super Cache plugin, please ensure that has been right setup according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Clear all the caches and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello bformhals,
Unfortunately, this type of plugin has not been tested with our theme and also, we cannot say for sure if it will work as expected with the theme or not, sorry!
Also, notice that the speed booster is an optional plugin which can be activated in the same way as you install a new plugin. The Speed Booster works only with the tested plugins. If you use other plugins, it will be automatically disabled, and I suggest to check this first in System Status. However there is a workaround to make it also work with other plugins, you can read more here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/speed-booster-not-compatible-with-vaultpress/
Unfortunately, the time doesn’t allow us to provide any custom and optimization services. We provide support only for the theme related issues based on Envato support policy – https://themeforest.net/page/item_support_policy I suggest to get someone to help you if you want to optimize your site.
Thanks for your understanding!
