I bought Newspaper a month ago, and after feeling overwhelmed with it I just parked the idea and went back to my old theme. I can’t quite work out the order of things… do I need to activate the theme before I can use the ‘Theme Panel’ to customize? I currently get a message saying “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”
I like the look of the coffee demo, but how do I go about installing it with my existing content? I’ve read through so much of the tutorial info and just can’t work it out. I’m nervous to press the activate button and find my site looks like crap for a week while I work all this stuff out live. Is there no way of previewing before I press the button? In live preview mode I can’t edit anything!!
Anyone’s help would be greatly appreciated. I’m not usually so easily defeated by technology!

I really love this theme, but I’m having some trouble with the composer. When I attempt to edit with the Tag Div composer it does not work. Literally. When I click on the button I am directed to a blank page. At first I thought it was because I was using a demo version, but uninstalling the demo didn’t help. Then, I thought that maybe it was because I also have the beaver builder so I deactivated that, and it didn’t help. I would really love to use this composer as I enjoy watching the tutorials for it! — can someone please help? Thanks!

Yes, the latest version of the theme is Newsmag 4.3. Ensure that installing has been made via FTP way, clear all the caches and check the results.
As a hint, try to install the Newsmag Travel demo and check the functionality of mega menu and try to replicate it on your website.

I want to use one of the home page demo styles for my site but don’t want to install the full demo. Is there somewhere I can get the code for each demo’s home page? Then I can paste this into a new page and test it out

I have 2 issues on my theme.
1. My theme activated successfully in first time WordPress installation but after re installing wordpress i can’t activate in second attempt. please suggest how to activate the theme .
2. I have tried several attempt to install demo data but doesn’t installed the error appear.

Maybe the demo installation was not completed or there was a problem. Note that if you install a demo without content the homepage will not be provided. Only theme panel settings and custom design will be imported

If you install it with content, the homepage will be imported and set automatically. Then you can customize it as you wish.
So currently there is no demo installed, what exactly happens when you install the demo you want? Are there errors displayed?
Check the theme system status as well

This will only import theme panel settings and demo design, a demo homepage will not be included in this case. You can build a homepage with the tagDiv composer

But note that the demo custom design will only apply in the homepage if the same elements are used. Same grids, blocks etc as the demo. Changing themes would require testing, to ensure everything is set properly and works fully.
It is recommended to place the website in maintenance mode when doing this, or creating local clones of the live website and begin there by applying the new theme and testing.

The contact page you mention is not complicated to make, or install the default demo with content and it will be available in the WordPress pages section

Edit it with the tagDiv composer and edit it was you wish. The page consists of a column text element on top

A title element can be used next above the contact form. The contact form requires Contact form 7 plugin, the theme cannot create forms.
As a note, if you will uninstall a demo in the future, the pages that came with it will be removed.

Hi,
in many demos, the page is not full screen it has some space on the right and left. For example: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_magazine/ –> there you see the background image on the left and right. How can i make this space on the sides to my blog, without installing a demo.

My question at all:

then on the first image there is the category (MOTIVATION) in a withe box on the bottom of the picture. The “Grid Style” used there is “Grid style 4 – Bottom box” but without the Fitnes CSS it looks different. How can i change the design of this without installing an demo. Where do i have to put the style. My goal is it to copy ONLY this category withe box style out of the fitnes demo.

I am building the page offline.
But i found out some new. I will explain my issue to you. So when you install an demo like “Fitnes”, then in the Theme panel –> custom code –> Custom Body Class(s) there is the class “td-blog-fitness”. I want to use this class, without installing the demo. So i tried this: i add the class td-blog-fitness into this field, and i copyed the CSS from Newspaper/includes/demos/blog_fitnes and paste it into Custom CSS. This works not completely. Some things are working and changed but some elements are missing.

I just did the test by reinstalling a demo but in any case it does not allow me to edit the page by store defector. At first I thought it was mandatory to install some demo. please I need help. I have correctly configured wp-super-chache and also the load limits I have in 512mb, the php.ini is also correctly configured. yesterday everything was fine. and today what I did is just uninstall the demo and nothing else, I also reinstalled new file of the updated theme, I did not install any plugin apart from what I had before when everything was working normally. this error only shows when you edit the shop page by default of woocommerce. in the rest, everything is fine.

Only one demo can be installed at a time. If you uninstall or install a different demo, the previous one and all it’s settings will be removed

When a demo is installed there will be custom design imported and theme panel settings. Uninstalling it will remove all of these, the website will be as before.
I’ve installed a demo and content but now i get the following message when I visit the site:

We’ve got some errors at loading API files. It could happen because of a disabled TagDiv plugin!
Then on the site in the header area I get:

hi,
i recently installed artcreek demo for my blog. when i tested in pingdom tool i found out that site is loading 1 image called bg dark from URL https://192.168.0.208/wp_011_test_demos/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/td-dark-bg-2.jpg
which is making my site not load properly and all speed test tools are showing connection timeout error.
then i tested installing other demo and it doesn’t show this issue . just with artcreek.

I am also having the same issue with mega menu after installing it.
The demo content menu shows a mega menu, however, when entering “Menus” in WordPress, there is NO option or pull-down bar for “make this a category megamenu” — Can someone please help resolve this?
