i placed my code into another spot custom ad 1
then i called it in ads.php (in child theme) instead of header spot
i used code for displaying images with table :

now i have two images in a row, and i am trying to css them separetly, maybe there was a better way to do this, but this is how i done it for now 🙂
also, i tried to write css in my child theme (style.css), it had no effect, later tried with custom css in theme panel which was ok
i am sorry, now i have reduce my logo for 500 x 118 px, i want to use style 1 header style, can my logo will be full show? or any css code to change its? hmm so for the banner beside the logo i never mind if it will be decrease , thanks

You will need some custom modification to the code , try to use span 8 for logo and span4 for ad(off course you have to use a smaller ad size): http://screencast.com/t/UE1r7ijyO
Also you will need some css customizations, so if you don’t have basic css/html experience you can hire a freelancer to do this for you as we cannot provide custom work at this time. Sorry for this.
You can also use an header style with full logo(like style 3 and 6) if you want to display your big size logo.

4. That space appears because the Popular Videos block is on a different row then Editor block and that space cannot be reduced via css code. You can try to add another block in the Popular videos column or remove Travel Guides block from that row.

This is nnot what i want. the css is fine, but default style shows Caption and Button under the picture and i don’t want it. Just a logo and nothing more.

So you can create your own image and add it in Logo section like above.

That can be done. I didn’t find any plugins that can do this. It shouldn’t be a plugin anyway. Plugins are a whole process and inline code is just quicker, if done well.

I’m using the Email Obfuscator plugin from Till Kruss (https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/email-address-encoder) to hide email addresses from harvesters, and it’s working fine apart from the link in the footer that gets generated by the TagDiv Footer Logo widget.
I presume this because of the way the widget generates the email link. Is it possible to target this email address using a filter or something?

You’re guessing right: we own a sport magazine that provides news and in-depth analysis concerning the world of football (soccer) and finance. We are building several channels specific for the bigger clubs.
Each channel is built via a page that filter posts by tag (each article is tagged with the relevant club(s) ).
The fact is that they look too similar and we want to provide them a club specific style. The other fact is that we don’t want to sacrifice valuable space that now is available for contents or ads.
That’s why the logo option. It will be the newspaper header with a small change representing the club.
TO summarize: 10 (approx) clubs -> 10 pages (post-type = page) with specific logo.

What criteria will be used to determine that a different logo is required? There may be free or already existing premium plugins out there that can handle it, depending on the criteria.
I’m guessing some pages (WP definition of a page, vs a post) will need a different logo, and the categories too (sounds like your categories are the different sports you cover, NFL, NBA, MLB< Soccer, etc.). But please correct me or confirm or both, so I know how the change of logo will be triggered.
I’ll gladly offer a consultation, but I’d like to make sure you need customization and not a readily available – and possibly free – plugin first.

Thanks for your reply. It could sound weird as request but the need is to display the logo with a small change when pages related specific areas of our sport magazine are displayed.

Not within the current theme, no.
A custom function could be built to either check on page load if the current page has a specific and different logo assigned, or to add a custom field on each post which holds the url of the desired logo for that page.
The latter method would be most efficient, but you need someone familiar with WordPress, php, and html (maybe JavaScript too) to code it. Such functionality is beyond the scope of the NewsMag theme.
