Well, the first one is obviously irrelevant as that’s not the logo for your site, so just delete it. Clear your site cache so it can’t be seen. You obviously installed the demo content, which was then cached and hence why that is still found. If you upload your own logos, then the Newspaper logo shouldn’t show up on your site anymore.
FYI, useful to include the link to your GTMetrix report 🙂
I think the logo is loaded from the header and footer files, or a dependent file loaded by one of those and not in the style.css. So, if you look att the header.php script, then look at the different use cases for the layout option you’re using, you should be able to find the right header element…
e.g.,
default:
// this is the default header configuration
// (logo + ad) + menu
locate_template('parts/header-style-1.php', true);
locate_template('parts/menu-header.php', true);
break;
as so:
<a itemprop="url" href="<?php echo home_url(); ?>">
<img width="300" class="td-retina-data" data-retina="<?php echo htmlentities($td_customLogoR) ?>" src="<?php echo $td_customLogo?>" alt="<?php echo $td_logo_alt ?>"<?php echo $td_logo_title ?>/>
</a>
If I’m not mistaken width is specified implicitly to hint the page rendering, and then height is set as “auto” via the theme CSS, which is now common practice.
Hope that helped a little 🙂
Ok here’s the thing:
http://cherrykoks.de/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/images/demo/logo-footer.png (Dimensions: 275 x 58)
http://cherrykoks.de/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/images/icons/similar-right.png (Dimensions: 6 x 9)
http://cherrykoks.de/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/log300opt.jpg (
these Images are the problems for GTMetrix….
I swear, that I’ve googled about 2 hours. Every page says: yeah specify it…
(oh really) I’m new to this whole thing and I would like to correct these problems but:
I found nowhere, WHERE to add this :

(example)
When I open the css file – I cannot find these tags. (btw: do I only have to change this there?)
Hope you guys can help me!
Thank you very much 🙂
Can i Centralize (vertical alignment) only the logo, so that it fits properly in the space available ?
Hi,
The logo for mobiles, if you chose one, will be used only for mobiles.
Please send us an URL to your site so we can inspect this issue. Also make sure you use a logo for mobile also.
Thanks
I’ve used Newspaper theme for http://www.techsportz.com . Along with logo in header, I tried putting adblock (though Adsense). It was coming out to be dispositioned. Actually half of it was going under Main Menu bar. Please suggest what to do.
The same was happening with Logo, but there’a an option to adjust the positioning of logo. So I’ve set that to -10px and issue was resolved. Is there any such similar solution for Adblock positioning ?
Thank you. But why is there a new Mobile Logo upload in 4.0.2, wont the 300×100 and 600×200 be enough? Do i reference those files for the mobile logo?
Now if we can figure out what is causing the logo troubles (being blocked) on the iphone all will be grand. =)
Thanks Lucian…
The 600×200 logo is used for “retina” displays which have much higher resolution, and smaller logo graphic would look “jaggy” on some of the Apple and newer high res smart phones.
From the docs:
◾Recommended sizes for header logo: normal: 300px x 100px | retina: 600px x 200px
◾Recommended sizes for footer logo: any size
If you don’t know what “retina” refers to, you may wish to Google that. It’s the term used for Apple’s higher resolution screens on current model iPhones, iPads, etc.
Could you please update your documentation for doing the logo in 4.0.2
I created a .png file of 300×100, and another .png file for 600×200. Theme Panel in 4.0.2 has 2 places for the 300x 100 and 2 places for the 600×200 (logo, and Mobile logo). I don’t understand why a 600 size is needed?
The logo is blocked in iphone by a layer of white (banner, menu I don’t know what it is) but it’s not showing up on top.
Please gather all .css fixes and post in documentation as one set of instructions or please issue patch file that fixes that.
Thank you so much.

not sure why you need that EXACT sans-serif font, but when searching the font spec sheets, the most unique character I found was the capital R which is slightly different, whereas the majority of the other letters are very common slab bold sans-serif, and not notably different from many other fonts.
you might go here:
https://www.google.com/fonts
on left side, select sans-serif, display
move slider to bold (e.g., font weight 700)
and then look through the fonts to see which one has closest “R”…
for instance, I noticed that this is very close:
Asap, 4 Styles by Omnibus-Type
For a commercial font you’d likely want to look at Adobe’s spec sheets, or – again – if you’re already using Adobe Illustrator, use a similar font and adjust the width and stroke to match the metrics of the logo you like. And again the “style” done in Photoshop of logo with the background image is not part of the “font” so you’d have to introduce that kind of element yourself by knocking out the background image on layer to be inside the lettering.
Hi,
Can you please send me an URL to your site so I can inspect to see this issue? I will give you the css to do it.
Try this until then:
.header-logo-wrap {
margin-top: 0px;
}
Thanks
Hi,
@Christopher Thanks
Unfortunately I can’t help you, the logo was made in Photoshop and I don’t have the psd file.
As Christopher said you can have the logo from here or try to find a similar one.
Thanks
Hi,
Modify it to -5px like this:
.td-a-rec-id-header {
left: -5px !important;
}
Thanks
Multumesc, a iesit perfect. Puteti marca the ticket as solved
Hello, I’ve added an image (logo) to my Menu and need to style the image to fit.
What CSS code do I add to the Custom CSS area to adjust its location in the menu? I believe, I need to either raise it up about 30px or increase the the menu’s bottom padding by about 40px? I’m just not sure what CSS code to use? Also, I can’t find a .menu-item-# for it.
Thank you again for your great theme!
I doubt they can send you the font since it might be licensed and not a “free” font. Lucien or Radu can likely tell you WHICH FONT it happens to be. Might be a Google font, too.
Thanks but I can’t find the right font. Please who design this logo send me that font.
Thank you! And if I want to give it a little padding on the right side how would I do that? Say, 5px.
hi,
try this css code :
.td-a-rec-id-header {
left: 0px;
}
Thanks for you message.
Radu A.
Hi,
In that case you have to remove the css which hides the header from custom css in theme panel and select header style 6 http://screencast.com/t/TgkIv0GMVk and then from header.php file comment or remove this line: http://screencast.com/t/wYFy305hp12
Thanks
Salut,
Te rog adauga acest CSS in Theme Panel > Custom CSS:
.td-full-logo .td-grid-wrap, .container-fluid, img {
padding-right: 0px;
padding-left: 0px;
padding-top: 0px !important;
}
Mersi!
I used 150×50 size logo..
Hi Lucian, by “next version,” did you mean 4.1? If so, the header ad still overlaps the logo in 980px mode.
Is there a bit of custom CSS you could offer to move move the header ad to the right?
Thanks,
Jacob
how you put your logo in the small size in upper left corner ?
Where I can add such code in header.php so I don’t need to add code in index, category and rest of pages.
