Hello,
Please use this guide to make the proper memory allocation required by the theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/search/requirements/
let us know if you still face issues afterwards
Thank you!
Why my Newspaper8 theme is so much slow and why is it crashing every 30 minutes with error: Internal Server Error 500. Also it rises ony my Cpanel CPU usage 100/100%, Physical memory to 1gb, and entry processes to 20/20… The hosting company tells me that the problem is from the theme, they are. When I change theme CPU goes under 40%. My site url is https://www.tomislavcity.com/
I did all settings what I can find on this forum but Newspaper is problem.
Thanks!

Hi,
What do you mean exactly by went down? Were there errors provided? Please also review the updated theme requirements guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
In some cases HTTP 500 errors were solved by increasing the WP-memory to 256M, that would be the recommended value. Check all the requirements and make modifications, let us know the results.
Hi,
The first thing to check would be the theme requirements, system status section
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
It is imperative that the parameters mentioned in the guide are configured properly. Insufficient resources can cause many issues with the theme or the plugins, if needed ask your hosting provider to increase them as specified.
The WP memory could be set higher if possible. After trying this check if the issue remains. Let us know if there still is a problem.
Hello,
Please use this guide to increase your memory allocation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
You can increase the wp memory limit to 256 MB and see if you still get the error.
If the issue persists, please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can login and investigate. Please also provide cpanel access in case we need to check host settings.
Thank you!
Hi,
Please try the suggestions mentioned in this topic
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/td-composer-stuck-on-loading/
The most common cause for that to happen would be insufficient resources, review the theme requirements. WP memory can be set higher than recommended if possible.
Let us know what you find, if you solved the problem let us know what worked.
Thanks
I am plagued with the same error. Memory limit on the WordPress install is actually 512 MB. So this symptom that keeps showing up now — as I can see — at many of your users has a different cause.
When I try to ‘fetch as google’ the url wp-content/wp-themes/Newspaper in Search Console it gives me the information that it is ‘redirected’.
Checking the redirection givces the warning that that the address it is redirected to is unreachable. (It seems like for me that there si no difference in the original and redirected url. Also, I have not set a redirection for this url.)
Please fix this, my site has already fallen from Google search results because of this.
Well, memory limit and other php limits set by server are done from hosting panel. WordPress has its own limit which defaults to 40mb which is fine for default theme and blog, but not big page builders, sliders, etc., so only a web admin can edit the config file.. many other useful wp settings you can do in there too.
You need to update your wp-config.php file to specify the new memory size also! See the wordpress.org docs on how to edit your config file for the custom setting. No other way to change that.
I increased WP Memory Limit from 40MB to 256MB. (Hostgator increased it, and double checked it a day later/today). It still shows as 40MB in the dashboard (system status) of Newspaper Theme 8.8
Hostgator assures me that it is set at 256MB, as mentioned this was double checked. They told me to get in touch with the Developer of the theme. Any input, as to why it is showing as 40MB would be greatly appreciated,
Thanks.
Hello,
Apologies for the delay.
Thanks for the support.
I increased the WP memory limit from 64MB to 128MB but nothing changed.
TD Composer still does not load; and I’m still unable to navigate through the “Theme Panel” of the theme: anything I click there just takes me back to the top of the page.
The problems in the links provided aren’t related to mine.
Thanks in anticipation of your response.
Hello,
Sometimes due to the server settings, errors like can happen.
In most cases it is the ‘upload max.file size’ that needs to be increased from your host.
Please use this guide to make the proper memory allocation required by the theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Thank you!
Hi,
No, the wp memory is handled by your WordPress install. You cannot have shared wp installs. Please access your files via ftp or cpanel and edit wp-config.php
The rest of the requirements can be implemented through htaccess if your host allows it.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please read this guide and make the correct memory adjustment to your site:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
If you use more plugins, please increase the wp memory limit to 256 mb
Thank you!
Hi,
Please try to increase the wp memory limit to 256 MB as it fixed 500 errors for most users:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Also make sure you get all of the other system status parameters in the recommended values.
Thank you!
I Got this error when I try to use TD Composer
Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 182976512) (tried to allocate 786417 bytes) in /hermes/bosnaweb03a/b2362/ipg.hackploitcom3/mysterioustrip/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/includes/tdc_main.php on line 552
Please resolve this error
Hello,
This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Also please only use wp super cache and these settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
And use this guide for proper memory allocation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Thank you!
Sorry I forgot: I have WP Memory Limit 2 GB/request and everything’s green on system status page.
I installed Newspaper I setted it up but i need to make some changes in php.ini file in order to make it work correctly. I checked the theme status panel and made some of the yellow ones green (i changed max_execution_time from 30 to 60 using php settings from my godaddy cpanel.) But some settings, i can’t change. I contacted GoDaddy and they said we can’t give you support on this subject, you should reach out theme developers.
I can’t change max_input_vars
I can’t change WP Memory Limit
Hello friends
sorry. my English is not enough.
I do not have access to the website and manager login when I create the theme.
I spoke with the hosting company. problem theme said
I get such a warning
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 8192 bytes) in /home/content/n3pnexwpnas03_data02/98/41774798/html/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp_booster/td_util.php on line 1378
Hi,
Many 500 errors were solved by increasing the allocated WP-memory value (ideally 256M).
Also try to disable all plugins by FTP, if the plugins page is not accessible
– http://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-deactivate-all-plugins-when-not-able-to-access-wp-admin/
Then delete all theme plugins, reinstall them from the latest theme package you downloaded. Let us know the results of that as soon as possible.
Hi,
The max_execution_time would need to be increased as mentioned in the guide and also if possible the WP memory could be increased as well. Check with your hosting and ask them to increase the execution time parameter and if it is possible the WP-memory. Then check again.
If there is still a problem, send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin access, FTP or cPanel as well. We will take a look. Include a link to this topic in the email.
Thanks
Hi,
Please check the theme system status panel, and this theme requirements guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Ask your hosting provider to increase the allocated resources and activate the required PHP extensions if needed, according to the guide. The WP memory can be set higher if possible. Then check if the problems are fixed.
Let us know the results.
Thanks
Hello Allshethings,
Check the system status parameters and ensure that your PHP memory has correctly increased according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ along with the other parameters. Clear all the caches and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
