Hi,
when i go to the top of the page:
only iphones,
hhttp://www.screencast.com/t/ZPDPtT0oOT1
http://www.screencast.com/t/lszTejzm
The problem had been in old version of theme and it continues now in version 7.4
How can i resolve it?
I had a language switcher on my mobile theme on a previous version of Newspaper, but after I updated it to 7, it displays on the Desktop version menu, but not on the mobile version, if the mobile plugin is enabled. How can I get it to work with the mobile plugin? Thank you!
Here’s the code I used:
<div class="td-icon-lang menumobile">
<?php
$languages = icl_get_languages('skip_missing=0&orderby=code');
$html .= '';
if(!empty($languages)){
foreach($languages as $l){
// if(!$l['active']) $html .= '';
if(!$l['active']) $html .= '';
// if(!$l['active']) $html .= '';
}
}
echo $html;
?>
</div>
</div>
I have just upgraded our site http://naturguide.dk to the latest version of Newsmag (from version 3 to 3.1). Now the Main Menu text suddenly is gone! Also the mobile menu does not work any longer!
I have tried to deactivate the plugins with no results. Any ideas why?
Hello,
This is a result in you altering the theme css in order to make it rtl. The elements on the left are the mobile menu elements which are hidden by default and they should not be visible or scrollable. Please check your custom code you implemented and figure out which part of the css does this.
Thank you!
Hi Catalin,
as I looked deeper now in the structure I discovered in mobile-menu.php the following Code:
<code> <!-- login section -->
<?php if (td_util::get_option('tds_login_sign_in_widget') == 'show') { ?>
<div class="td-menu-login-section">
<?php
if ( is_user_logged_in() ) {
locate_template('parts/logged.php', true);
} else {
locate_template('parts/login.php', true);
}
?>
</div>
<?php } ?>
I opened the File /parts/login.php an changed the code in following ways:
//if admin permits registration
$users_can_register_tab = '';
if ($users_can_register == 1) {
//add the Register tab to the modal window if Anyone can register chec
$users_can_register_tab = ' <span></span>' . __td('Join', TD_THEME_NAME) . '';
}
echo '
<div class="td-guest-wrap">
<div class="td-menu-avatar"><div class="td-avatar-container">' . get_avatar($current_user->ID, 80) . '</div></div>
<div class="td-menu-login">' . __td('Sign in', TD_THEME_NAME) . '' . $users_can_register_tab . '</div>
</div>
';
This seems to work in Mobile View. Instead of showing now the Login Tab a Link now redirects to my own Login Page. The same with Join Tab – A unregistered User is redirected to the Register Page.
Can you confirm that my changed Code in Theme is free from Error?
And last but not least in Mobile View there is another Link I discovered within Login. If an User is logged out and he has to be logged In to write a Comment the Login View opens in a Modal Window in Mobile View.
In which file an where to change this part of Code to get redirected to my own Login Page instead of opening a Modal Window for Login?
Thanks for your reply
Greets, Karl
Hello,
The background color of the mobile menu can be changed from here: http://screencast.com/t/ScSJiimKnyif or if you use the mobile theme plugin: http://screencast.com/t/xb35xNWWA8u6
The 3 sections of the footer were not designed to be identical width between them. The logo container is smaller so there will be more space for the other containers. IUf you want them justified, you can use this css code:
.td-footer-wrapper .td-pb-span3, .td-footer-wrapper .td-pb-span5, .td-footer-wrapper .td-pb-span4{
width: 33.33333333%!important;
}
Thank you!
Hi,
If you want to change the functionality for the login widget for mobile mode, please notice that you should edit the menu-mobile.php core file from mobile directory, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/wcO4LoTWQzVG
Hope this helps!
Thanks.

well the error problem is solved. just another issue with mobile theme. try my link http://www.theindianfeed.in/ in opera mini. Its not shoeing properly. Menus are covering the page. will appreciate if you can help on this too.
Hi gauravtank,
I have inspected your website and I saw that your main menu is working fine on the desktop and on the mobile version. I guess that you are referring to the mega menu feature. Please notice that the mega menu has been designed to be used just on the desktop version. For more information about mega menu, please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/mega-menu/
Hope this helps!
Thanks.
Just updated to 7.4 and encountered a little odd issue.
When (on mobile) viewing a single post the whole site gets a little to wide for the actual browswer-window. The pictures seems to be out of alignment with the rest of the content.
If i press down on the screen av swipe left a white edge appear to the right of the main-menu (as seen in the first of the three pictures included).
I have tried to disable all my ads, updated to the latest version of the child-theme as well as tried without the child-theme all togheter. Nothing seems to help. The issue does not occur when on the landing/index page. Only on post-pages.
Site is enkelteknik.se if you want to see the issue. Only on the individual articles. The landning page is fine.

Ok than ks. I deactivated almost every plugin and took out my google analytics code and it’s still an issue from my end. Cleared cache for both phone and laptop. Menu works fine on my laptop, just the mobile version isnt showing it.
Hello,
I’m positive it’s not the sub-menus you are referring to but the mega menu. We get this a lot. A mega menu will not work from the mobile menu. Please provide a link to your site so I can see how you set up your menu.
Thank you!
Hi
Please note that our working hours are from 8:00 AM – 17:00 PM.
The theme is tested and mobile menu works fine. If you still have this issue try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches then test the site again.
Let us know how it goes and if you still can’t manage to solve this issue provide your site url so we can have a closer look.
Thanks!

Hello,
My website’s mobile menu disappears sometimes on a “very fast” scroll up. The error happens in Safari and Chrome browsers. I installed the September 12 update as I thought that would fix it but it did not. This is my first time reporting this issue.

The mobile menu will show your menu items. If you add categories to the menu, it will show the categories. http://screencast.com/t/dDxn00FhMNvM

I have just disabled the ‘mobile theme’ plugin by tag div as the ‘menu’ that is the bar section that pops up for mobile like devices upper left, was not responsive. However is fully responsive when i turn off the ‘mobile theme’ and fine on desktop.
However, it seems to not have ‘auto’ resized stuff when i have turned off the ‘mobile theme’ – Can you please take a look for me?
As it stands i actually prefer the ‘mobile theme’ turned off too now i found a way of having the menu working!
Look forward to your replies!
Thank you
