Hi.
On This Page: https://www.linquip.com/blog/types-of-pressure-relief-valve-all-you-need-to-know-about-prvs/
We Created a Call to Action With Tagdiv-Call To Action Section and put the code in Advanced Ads HTML Code Which is Already Shows Good With Desktop & Responsive views. But the Mobile view is not good.
How to add Google Analytics Code in the Mobile theme of newspaper?
I am trying a lot to add this code but unable to find any option.
Regards
So that’s what I was doing before, but the problem is that for the mobile theme, the only things that change are the “Font family” and the “Style.” The font still stays all bolded in blockquotes. What I would like is if I bold certain words in a blockquote, it doesn’t resemble the rest of the text like it does now on mobile. Is that possible?
Hello @Webdinasty!
If you do not want to use the Mobile Theme, then you can uninstall it.
When you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin.
The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/
Better deactivate the plugin and see the results.
Thank you!

Hello,
What I want to do is apply a general/universal modifications to how blockquotes appear on the mobile theme. Is that possible? I thought that the “mobile editor” was the section I could access in the Theme Panel, however that does not seem to be the case. How do I apply a generalized change for any future blockquotes on my website pages on mobile?
I am using pre-built theme “Personal Trainer”, when i open my site in mobile device, there is “sign in” side menu. How to delete it?
Burger menu is not displaying automatically when i test my website on mobile and when i activate tagDiv Mobile Theme, burger menu works fine, but the footer and the rest of the pages don’t have the same content as they have on desktop. If i don’t activate tagDiv Mobile Theme, the menu has a slide bar for seeing all the menu items and some of them are missing.
I have tried to create mobile pages and copy content from desktop pages, but it doesn’t work.
So, now i want to solve the menu to display as burger with menu items as list and keep the rest of the content which works fine.
I have read a few of the other articles about mobile version topics, but i wasn’t able to use those infos for my website.
Hello! I’ve set it up to use mobile-only for AMP, but the mobile theme is always showing instead of rendering the responsive theme. Looking forward to your help, thanks!
The home page is ok, but the single page isn’t working.
Hello @Paradoxer!
If you use Mobile theme, then please try to change the size of your blockquote from the Mobile Editor: https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/
Thank you!
I would like to modify the appearance of the quote/blockquote on mobile, for it to be similar to the one I have on desktop.
For this page, on desktop, it appears like this:

On mobile, it appears like this:

On mobile, it looks large and bolded in a way that I don’t want, and that doesn’t distinguish the text enough from actual bolded text. In the Theme Panel “Mobile Theme > Theme Fonts > Post Content” section, changing the quote font settings did not seem to change anything on the Android internet browser or on iOS. I would appreciate help.
I looked through all of the options on the link you provided. None of them apply to my situation. I haven’t seen the composer icon ever. I uploaded the theme to my wordpress and I have never seen the composer. Though it, along with “tagdiv cloud library,” “machform shortcode,” “tagdiv mobile code,” “tagdiv newsletter,” tagdiv social counter,” and “tagdiv standard pack” are the only plug ins that are active on my site.

Hello @cham!
This issue about DOM Size has been already discussed here, please check: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/can-you-help-reduce-excessive-dom-size/
You need to take into account many factors:
External factors: server speed, if you are using CDN or not, the external resources loaded by your website like ads, fonts, tracking scripts like Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, Twitter analytics, Hotjar and so on.
Internal factors: the number of elements on the page, image size, image formats, if you are using mobile optimized layouts, console errors.
Our developers are working a lot to improve the page speed in every update.
Please note that page speed is not covered by the support team: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-support/
Thank you for understanding!
Hello,
Please provide the link to your website and let me know if you have the mobile theme plugin activated.
Thank you!
I recently discovered some issues on the front of my website when I switched the mobile theme to work only for amp pages. The page was distorted and it wasn’t very good-looking. The amp URL structure I am using is /amp/ but when I switch it to ?amp it works very fine.
Now the issue here is I want to use responsive design on my website and limit the use of the mobile theme to amp pages only because it is very limited in terms of web designing. To do so, I would have to switch mobile theme to amp pages only but it will break the site. Moreover, I can’t change the URL structure to ?amp because the site is indexed and millions of traffic will be lost in the process.
Please give me decent solution here.
I have 3 sites, all newspaper theme, I want to have them all link to each other like kotaku.com’s top bar. For both desktop and mobile. Any way to do this within the theme or a plugin you know of? Thanks.
Hello @sgupta!
We recommend AMP + Mobile because AMP is faster and works better only with Mobile Theme plugin. Please provide more information about the issues.
Thank you!
Hi,
These are the options for the AMP: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-amp-plugin-tutorial/
If you use our theme and AMP that is come with our theme, then you need to have Amp URL “/?amp” and if you have set the redirect mobile to AMP then will be /?amp=1.
Thank you!
Hello @withspaces!
I’ve checked your website and it seems that you use Mobile theme plugin.
When you create mobile pages with TagDiv Composer with Mobile Theme plugin installed, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin.
The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/
Better deactivate the plugin and see the results.
We have 3 options of mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website is looking similar like on desktop, edit the page with TagDiv Composer, click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB ; there you can see your mobile version and you can edit the elements there.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
3. Mobile theme plugin which I’ve described it above.
A full explanation you can find here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
You can choose to use which one is more affordable and useful for you.
Thank you!
Hello,
I just checked and I saw you don’t have the mobile theme plugin and you use the responsive version, soo please select the viewport for the phone and check the logo and change it -> https://i.imgur.com/P4eNHLe.png
Also, please check this topic where I explained each mobile version -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-version-not-working-properly-2/ and choose what mobile version you want.
Thank you!
Hello,
I have now deleted all logos in the Theme Panel. Even if no logo is shown in the full screen view, the Newspaper logo appears as soon as I reduce the viewport.
It fits in the mobile theme.
Hello Tom,
You need to do the changes in those theme files
-> wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/parts/header/logo.php
-> wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/parts/header/logo-h1.php
-> wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/parts/header/logo-mobile.php
-> wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/parts/header/logo-mobile-h1.php
-> wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/parts/header/logo-text.php
You need to replace it with your link inside the quotes from href = “”> -> https://i.imgur.com/hOeaKMr.png
Hope this help you!
Thank you!
Hello,
Please check in Theme Panel -> Header -> Logo and delete the logo from the demo if is set -> https://i.imgur.com/9gwKFuR.png -> https://i.imgur.com/rL2y9mY.png
Also, would you create a mobile page?
Thank you!
Hi,
Please try this custom css
.td-main-menu-logo img {
max-height: 60px;
max-width: 180px;
}
set the code in the theme panel > mobile theme > custom code > css.
I hope this will help with the logo size.
