I think that the problem is this one https://i.imgur.com/l3kjfNN.png this can be if you have a custom code that it is overwriting the mobile theme plugin settings. What you can do is to use this code
.td-category a {
color: #fff;
}
Please set the code in the theme panel > mobile theme> custom code > css.

This situation appears when you are using the mobile theme plugin and the cache plugin that you have does not feature options for a separate mobile theme plugin therefore do not know when to deliver the mobile version and when to deliver the desktop version.
We tested with our theme the WP Super Cache and with the settings from our guide this is working correctly: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/

Maybe before you have the mobile theme activated and the layout changed.
The problem that I see now, at least for me is on desktop -> https://i.imgur.com/UWOUW0y.png is possible to be related to the cache plugin that you are using.

Please make sure this option is disabled: https://i.imgur.com/LxpDtB2.png and “Exit mobile version” won’t appear.
We have 3 options of mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website is looking similar like on desktop, edit the page with TagDiv Composer, click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB ; there you can see your mobile version and you can edit the elements there.

3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. Please note that the auto ads code must be placed in Theme Panel -> Analytics/Js Codes.
If you use Mobile theme + AMP, then try to place the ads in AMP ads/AMP Analytics.

If you mean page speed, then you need to take into account:
External factors: server speed, if you are using CDN or not, the external resources loaded by your website like ads, fonts, tracking scripts like Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, Twitter analytics, Hotjar and so on.
Internal factors: the number of elements on the page, image size, image formats, if you are using mobile optimized layouts, console errors.

If you use the sort order featured and a category, then it will display the featured posts from that category. So, in this case, you do not need the ajax dropdown. Ajax category dropdown is for displaying that menu in the block’s header.
Could you please provide an example with those settings applied, screenshot or a video?

Please make sure you do not use the mobile theme plugin.
