I have already tried this scenario for mobile view. But I want to use the ‘AMP’ and ‘tagDiv Mobile Theme’ plugins for load content in mobile view.

Also, I have deactivated the ‘tagDiv Mobile Theme’ plugin the layout is not set properly in responsive.

so when I used in the mobile AMP version but it shows the wp_booster error in the tagDiv Composer plugin.
Please review a screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/I2AqHi1.png

Hi,
Thank you for kind words!
About the mobile theme plugin, I ‘ll try to explain how this is working. Using it you’ll gain a better speed then responsive version of the theme, but, in order to achieve that speed, the mobile theme will replace entire layout of your website with a standard design and you’ll need to create new content for pages (there will be only a page, but this will have a different content that will be used only if is set the mobile theme), this is because in most cases those were made with builders (tagDiv Composer, WPBakery) and those are usually making the mobile version slower, so, you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set/make the content for pages in mobile editor, also the mobile theme will not display any sidebar) -> https://i.imgur.com/9d0UWLT.png
I hope this helps you a little.
Thank you!

Hi Jose, this can be done quite easy if you choose to use a single post template from cloud -> https://i.imgur.com/OukmYdU.png
If you want to use a standard template (edit the single that you use -> wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/parts/single/single_template_1.php -> https://i.imgur.com/TKZ9klS.png and set it in -> wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/parts/single/loop-single-1.php -> https://i.imgur.com/iwEDpFF.png, if is the default template the files are wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/loop-single.php and wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/single.php), the you must edit it (edit the file and set it in a child theme).
If you are using the mobile theme plugin, then the same change need to be done in this file wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/single.php unfortunately, this can not be set in a child theme.
I hope this will help you!

Is there a way to disable the return to top of the page button on both the desktop theme as well as the mobile theme (tagDiv mobile theme).

Thanks for quick reply.

I understand that the child theme doesn’t work and appreciate your requesting.

If you can, can you request that we can make child theme not only common theme but also MOBILE THEME?

Thanks for reading.

Hi Calin – Thanks for your response. My phone is now displaying the mobile view, so it’s possible it was a cache issue.

FYI, I do find the documentation to be missing a step of explaining how a mobile page relates to the regular page – eg do you end up with two pages of the front page and every category page, or what. It says you “can” add pages but doesn’t explain exactly why and how they relate and exactly how to get started from baby Step 1. That would be really helpful if you could add. I am still confused about it. However, both my desktop and mobile look absolutely gorgeous now, so maybe I don’t need to know and I can just enjoy how great they look, LOL. 🙂

I will be back in touch if I still have any issues with AMP, TBD.

Thank you so much for the beautiful theme. I love it.

Hi,
I just checked your website and now the mobile content is display and is look normal, maybe you had enabled the mobile theme plugin, in case that you want to use it, then for pages you’ll need to set the page content in mobile editor.
Thank you!

Hello,

To change the color you need to use a custom code CSS https://i.imgur.com/GvPSfcb.png

.td-main-menu-logo .td-logo-text,
.td-main-menu-logo .td-tagline-text {
color: #258aed;
}

Also, for breadcrumbs -> https://i.imgur.com/dZEews3.png

.entry-crumbs a, .entry-crumbs
{
color: #536aed;
}

The code needs to be set in Theme Panel> Mobile Theme > Custom code> CSS.
Thank you!

Hello,

So, if you want to have the mobile responsive version, you can simply disable the mobile theme plugin on the homepage https://imgur.com/OTAJQSS
Also, please check this topic where I explained each mobile version -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-version-not-working-properly-2/ and choose what mobile version you want.

Thank you!

The SHOW POST VIEWS (same holds for the SHOW COMMENT COUNT) is disabled in the Theme Panel settings, but the counter remains visible on Post level (just under the Title). (example post: https://premortem.games/2022/01/10/mobiles-biggest-genre-are-rpgs-thanks-to-only-3-countries/). Once disabled, it dis stop actually counting, makes the fact that they remain visible even worse. How to completely remove the visibility of these items?

Hi,
I just checked your website and now it looks that the ads are display https://i.imgur.com/i3soSQg.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/MJHcyOf.png
Maybe it was because the mobile theme plugin was set and the ads were not set in it.
Thank you!

Hi palicali,
First we need to identify what can be the problem with the mobile version, did you checked if this is display when you are logged? If yes, then this problem is related to the cache plugin that you are using, this do not have a mobile cache (or is not enabled).
Now if you are using the mobile theme plugin, then is no need to make new posts, but, you need to make pages using only the mobile theme editor -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ or if you are using mobile page, then this can be edited using tagDiv Composer
About the amp problem, did you set some code in amp settings? Also, this problem persists if you use only tagDiv plugins and amp?
Thank you!

Calin

Hi LPH, as long the amp plugin is enabled and the mobile theme plugin is not enabled, then this will be display the the WordPress sidebar. In case that you are using the mobile theme plugin, then depends on the option that is enabled, if is set only mobile, then the amp will no be display, it must be an option with amp https://i.imgur.com/Iu8DDh8.png
Thank you!

Hi,
There are some suggestion for how to make the theme fonts to no longer take that long time to be loaded -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/low-scores-on-mobile-theme-amp-and-desktop-pagespeed-and-gt-metrics-optimize/ also if you want you can simple disable the default theme fonts -> https://i.imgur.com/Ntkht65.png and use only fonts from google or custom fonts.
I hope this will help you!

I was having trouble with the mobile theme menu not showing up properly, so I turned the theme off and now I’m having trouble trying to remove the default background image of the lady. I have another image and colors loaded, but they don’t seem to be showing up.

I’m having trouble viewing my site pages with the mobile theme attached. When I’m in the tagdiv mobile page editor, it looks how I want it to, but when I view from a mobile device, the page content isn’t showing up for some reason. Any fixes? I also checked and saw that the mobile theme button was on for the page too.

Hi,

I have created the mobile homepage from tagdiv composer (site http://www.contra-ataque.it) but if I log in from mobile it always shows the basic version of the mobile theme. How can I disable this to make the homepage created with tagdiv composer appear?

Hello,

I can’t figure out where to change color for logo text and crumbs in mobile theme?
I tried to change all color values in mobile theme settings and theme panel.

<span class=”td-logo-text”>
<span class=”td-logo-text”>
<span class=”td-tagline-text”>

I would also like to change color for breadcrumbs in desktop theme.
Reason is because in
https://web.dev/measure/ I get
“Background and foreground colors do not have a sufficient contrast ratio.”

Thank you,
Bojan

Hello.

Mobile theme seems to work on my phone fairly decently now after setting up individual templates for each page. But if in a desktop browser, if I make the browser window as narrow as it goes, it doesn’t trigger the mobile theme the same way I see it on my phone (as happens with other themes I use). I get a different header…not the mobile header identified in the theme. It’s also not the same header as the desktop. Where is that coming from and why doesn’t a narrow screen trigger the same mobile menu that’s specified on those pages? Makes me think that some screen sizes aren’t getting the proper mobile theme.

Thanks. If you need a link, I can provide.

Hello

I bought the item a week ago and I’m getting to know it, but I have a serious problem. The most important ad unit that I place on my website is not displayed in the mobile version. This is the related content ad block.

I placed it manually in my posts, but now I place it and it does not show. I used the AMP version, but unfortunately my income dropped sharply. So I preferred to disable it.

I ask for your help to see how I solve this problem because I live on the money that my website generates and unfortunately I am not having the expected results.

I try to place it in the theme panel, but it doesn’t show.

Please help me. I show screenshots.
