Hi Support Team,

1. I’m having Adsense based website. Actually I don’t know what is the exact width and stretch of my website. so please suggest me good looking width and stretch [ also better resolution] of my website in all the Devices like Desktop, PC, Laptop, and also in mobile. please tell me the exact settings and also I don’t know where to change this option in the Newsmag theme. so please let me know the steps to implement it. Please share screenshot

2. I’m using the Footer Template 1 in the Newsmag theme. by default, the social media Icons and contact us options are located on the left side of my Footer section. SO please suggest me how can I change it to the right side under the Popular category section. Please suggest me the solution.

3. when I created the Post the images I have placed in between the content [https://prnt.sc/uiaudd ], but after when I enable the smart list 6 option the images automatically came before the content. my query is when I enable SL 6 the images automatically move upward like this [ https://prnt.sc/uiawk9 ] and not the same as in the exact position while I created the post. so I like to have in between content after enabling the SL 6 option.
SO please suggest to me how can I keep the image as it is in the fixed position [between content] after enabling the smart list 6 option.

My Result should be like this after enabling smart list 6 —->

Thank You so much! Please Reply me.

Hi Calin!

We already did the following:
1. Reinstalled the tag div composer
2. Clear Cache
3. Deactivate all plugins except for the following:
tagDiv Cloud Library
tagDiv Composer
tagDiv Mobile Theme
tagDiv Newsletter
tagDiv Social Counter
tagDiv Standard Pack

But still the ads don’t save on the theme panel.
There is also no error on the console now.

Best regards!

On #4 you have to add the server side script code to activate Google Ad Manager Ad Units.

First, on a txt editor copy the header code provided for every Ad Unit on Google Ad Manager, to do this go to:

Inventory/Ad units/

Then open every ad unit you need, one by one, by clicking on its name then:
1. go to tags.
2. choose Google Publisher Tag (GPT)
3. click continue
4. configure your ad unit (it’s fine if you leave this as is)
5. click continue again
6. third step will give you two codes. one that goes in the <head> and a second that goes in the <body> copy the head code and paste it on the txt edit document, now copy the body code and paste it in a different txt document.
7. do this for every ad unit you need to publish in you site.
8. you will end with two files, one with header codes and one with body codes. Save them, but don’t close them.

You need to edit the header to make one big code including every single ad unit instead a bunch of them.

This is my code so you can figure how…

<!-- GOOGLE AD MANAGER STARTS -->

<script type='text/javascript'>
var googletag = googletag || {};
googletag.cmd = googletag.cmd || [];
(function() {
var gads = document.createElement('script');
gads.async = true;
gads.type = 'text/javascript';
var useSSL = 'https:' == document.location.protocol;
gads.src = (useSSL ? 'https:' : 'http:') +
'//www.googletagservices.com/tag/js/gpt.js';
var node = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0];
node.parentNode.insertBefore(gads, node);
})();
</script>

<script type='text/javascript'>
googletag.cmd.push(function() {
googletag.defineSlot('/14518XXXX/HP1_300x600', [300, 600], 'div-gpt-ad-XXXXX86917606-0').addService(googletag.pubads());
googletag.defineSlot('/14518XXXX/LB1_728x90', [728, 90], 'div-gpt-ad-XXXXX86917606-1').addService(googletag.pubads());
googletag.defineSlot('/14518XXXX/MR1_300x250', [300, 250], 'div-gpt-ad-XXXXX86917606-2').addService(googletag.pubads());
googletag.defineSlot('/14518XXXX/SB1_320x50', [320, 50], 'div-gpt-ad-XXXXX38988537-0').addService(googletag.pubads());
googletag.pubads().enableSingleRequest();
googletag.enableServices();
});
</script>
<!-- GOOGLE AD MANAGER ENDS -->

Now back to your site go to:
Newspaper/Theme Panel/Analytics JS Code/Header Script Code
and paste this code (yours of course).

This will allow your ad units to show on your site, if your Ad Manager Setting are correct.

Last thing to do.

Copy and paste the ad unit code where it should appear:

Newspaper/Theme Panel/Ads/

This is an example of my header position:

<div class="td-visible-desktop">
<!-- /14518XXXX/LB1 -->
<div id="div-gpt-ad-XXXXX86917606-1" style="height:90px; width:728px;">
<script type="text/javascript">
googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display("div-gpt-ad-XXXXX86917606-1"); });
</script>
</div>
</div>

<div class="td-visible-tablet-landscape">
<!-- /145188550/LB1_728x90 -->
<div id="div-gpt-ad-1459286917606-1" style="height:90px; width:728px;">
<script type="text/javascript">
googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display("div-gpt-ad-1459286917606-1"); });
</script>
</div>
</div>

<div class="td-visible-tablet-portrait">
<!-- /14518XXXX/LB1_728x90 -->
<div id="div-gpt-ad-XXXXX86917606-1" style="height:90px; width:728px;">
<script type="text/javascript">
googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display("div-gpt-ad-XXXXX86917606-1"); });
</script>
</div>
</div>

<div class="td-visible-phone">
<!-- /145188550/SB1_320x50 -->
<div id='div-gpt-ad-XXXXX38988537-0' style='height:50px; width:320px;'>
<script>
googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-XXXXX38988537-0'); });
</script>
</div>
</div>

One more thing. The head banner should be exactly 728×90 in desktop mode.

In the example above you can see that it displays a different version on mobile or desktop.

Hi Tonyruik, yes, the mobile theme plugin is making the mobile version faster, but if your website is well optimizes you can use the responsive version too, then you’ll have this design.
You can use the amp with mobile theme templates using this option -> https://imgur.com/4rY4Zva or you can use only the amp plugin with this option -> https://imgur.com/k1ZVWoN
Thank you!

Hello !

The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices. Unfortunately on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design. If you want to have the same design as on desktop mode you can achieve that by simply disabling the mobile theme.

You will have to recreate your pages into the Mobile editor or completely disable the mobile theme. The mobile editor will not render shortcodes !

Also you can disable mobile theme on certain pages or posts by following this setting:

Please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Mobile theme plugin can be disabled from Newspaper Plugins as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/LnkZCEVC

Thank you !

Hi,

If I’m right you are using the responsive version on these pages that has a different menu, the mobile theme plugin has it’s own menu, that can be set and edit from here -> https://i.imgur.com/gAz2mVn.png for the responsive version that have a cloud header the mobile menu can be set from tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/5FnxL8e.png and can be adjusted from here -> https://i.imgur.com/6s1eiKM.png

Thank you!

Hi alluring247news,

If I understand correctly you want to make these changes for mobile theme plugin, for this you can filtered and sort the mobile grids from theme panel > mobile theme> grids -> https://i.imgur.com/tR6G5ay.png
Also you can translate the “LATEST ARTICLES” from theme panel> translate -> https://i.imgur.com/6adabRJ.png -> https://i.imgur.com/gKmEyAd.png -> https://i.imgur.com/XDGAzC8.png

Hope this will help you!

hi,

i just make a new test using a mobile with android and on this one the list is displaying normal -> https://i.imgur.com/idwYInl.png also I checked it on iPhone X too and on it is look like this -> https://i.imgur.com/uwVs1iN.png is look that the first number is covered. What you can do in this situation is to set a padding on that ol, you use a code for rhis ->
ol {
padding: 0 10px;
}

Ste the code in theme panel> mobile theme > custom code> css -> https://i.imgur.com/A0FKSiF.png

Let me know the results!

Hello,

im using this theme/demo: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_style_pro/

I would like to ask you for one thing. If I want to have this design on mobile, I have to deactivate plugin mobile theme?

If I do that, I can still use AMP plugin without mobile theme plugin?

And the last thing, if is mobile theme plugin active, the site is much faster than without. So if I deactive mobile theme plugin to have the style pro design on mobile it will affect the fast of the website on mobile?

Thanks and have a nice day

Hi FLUSSO,

Yes, you can, you can use only amp plugin -> https://i.imgur.com/FGiSfJT.png -> https://i.imgur.com/k1ZVWoN.png or you can use the amp with mobile theme templates -> https://i.imgur.com/4rY4Zva.png also you can use this option if you want the mobile users to use only the amp version -> https://i.imgur.com/qqwLgwh.png

Hi,

The most easier it will be to use the responsive version, then the custom taxonomies will be display without problems.
If you want to use the mobile theme plugins and you are using a custom post type as in our guide from here, then it will be display on mobile theme too, if is a special CPT and you need to edit some files to can display it, for mobile theme plugin you need to do it in this folder -> wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile

Thank you!

How can I visualize the correct theme version on the mobile devices?

Hello guys,
I noticed that the visualization coming from the search engines is different from that of the site navigation.
Let me explain.

If I go to google and organically search for a result and click on it (even in incognito mode) the result FROM DESKTOP is the mobile version of the site, as shown in figure.
https://imgur.com/a/Vg9yvdX

If I go directly to my site, this does not happen and in fact it shows the desktop version from the desktop.

The problem disappears if I deactivate the plugin “tagDiv Mobile Theme “. But if I turn it off, I suddenly have problems with Google Analitycs on counting the AMP visitors (that drop to zero, even if are thousands).

Have you ever had this problem? Do you have any advice?
The URL of one of the posts is

Thank you, as always!

Hi Guys

I am having a problem i hope you can help me with please.

I have the mobile theme installed (with AMP) and all is well apart from a very odd thing that is happening with the mobile menu. I appear to have two different mobile menu’s, depending on what page i open on my site.

Here is what my original Mobile Menu looked like when i set my site up (non Mobile theme installed) – https://imgur.com/63WfVNx

I decided to remove the colours and updated the Menu and added this to my Mobile Theme. Here is what my Menu looks like now on the Mobile Theme – https://imgur.com/cpyjc0k

The problem i’ve noticed is that the old Mobile Menu is appearing only on certain pages in my site (About, Cookies Policy, Privacy policy, Join Baby Club). The other pages are fine and the White Menu displays.

I can’t edit the old blue menu because it is no longer showing in the theme panel as i have the mobile theme installed. Any ideas why i have two mobile menus showing on different pages and how i can fix this? (i want to use the new white menu everywhere).

Thanks!

Hello, I use Megazine Pro demo, the look of the theme in my mobile doesn’t like the one in your demo. In my mobile, there’re 3 grids without feature images and below them there’re latest posts section. The layout doesn’t look like those I’ve already done in desktop.

Hello, The mobile scroll up code helped. thanks a lot.

the mobile menu lag is still there, and I checked out all demos and sites made on newspaper and it is consistent problem in the theme. I can send you a screenshot and video too, the lag is very minor, in microseconds, but I’ll still be able to send

If I deactivate the Plug-in “tagDiv Mobile Theme”.
and only the plug-in “Official AMP for WP” Activate then the critical error is gone.
But then the “Listen Live” page doesn’t work properly anymore, like I made it for Mobile, so it shows the desktop mode. also that when I click on the menu on my mobile it doesn’t respond anymore. So I have to click on the Logo of the site again to be able to do something.

I think it’s strange, I can’t get out of this anymore.

Hello, Catalin!

Thanks for the screenshots and guides you provided above. I tried following them to change the “Lates Articles” on my mobile frontpage to “Latest News”.

But I can’t find the file in the screenshot you gave. I guess it has been changed or reorganized as I am running the 2020 version of Newspaper Theme. My website address is https://alluring247news.com.

I have made several attempts to change that phrase to something else, but I can’t find the php files when I go through Appearance >> Theme Editor. I also tried using FileZilla to download, edit and re-upload it. But I couldn’t find the file still.

My hosting account is WordPress.

Can I get some help, please?

Hi arunbabu,

So if I understand correctly, you’ll like to have 3-4 columns with 10 posts each one, and from what I can see you are using now as homepage the blog, for this you can achieve 3 column by setting in theme panel > templates settings > blog no sidebar and choose a layout that has 2 columns (when is set no sidebar it will be add another column), after that in Settings > Reading set the number of posts you’ll like to display -> https://i.imgur.com/CWaVSXr.png the results will be like this -> https://i.imgur.com/Q47je31.png
Also to see the featured image on mobile devices you need to enable the small thumbs from theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/ZiFXCGw.png -> https://i.imgur.com/85C1GyE.png also you can try the mobile theme plugin -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Thank you!

Hello,

I have custom taxonomies and I would like to show those things also in mobile theme? How can I do that?

Calin
tagDiv Staff

Hi,
The Cache Enabler plugin has not been tested with our theme, therefore we do not know the right settings for it and this to not recognize when you are using the mobile theme plugin for mobile device and amp.
As I see now you are no longer using the mobile theme plugin for mobile or amp. Most of users that do not use the WP Super Cache are using the mobile theme plugin only for amp -> https://i.imgur.com/j0nGQi0.png in this way the problems like the one you mentioned above are prevent to happen.
Thank you!
