Hi,
I suppose that you are using the font size for your fonts on mobile, right? Please notice that if you are using the default theme template, on mobile, the font size is default set up and you cannot change this. If is not what you mean, please provide more details so I will be able to provide a more accurate response. So, if you want to have more control for that section, on mobile, you need to use the Cloud Template Library and create from there your custom single template and customize it as you wish for each device, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/rDK6eA2mn75r with TD Composer.
Thank for your understanding!
Hi,
The mobile theme gallery design and functionality is different than the desktop gallery. On mobile it should look like this – http://prntscr.com/muzcyo
Also it is different than the gallery looked with the previous AMP plugin. How exactly do you want it to display? There aren’t any customization options for the mobile theme gallery design and functionality.
The lightbox which opens when the images are clicked on desktop will not work on mobile, when the mobile theme is active.
Thanks
The mobile theme plugin is optional, it is a much simplified theme optimized for mobile. The layout is predefined and it doesn’t have many customization options, this results in a faster website speed on mobile – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
You can deactivate it and not use it, then the default responsive version will be shown on mobile. The elements in the page will adapt for a mobile layout. The same content from desktop will be displayed on mobile if the mobile theme is deactivated.
This theme demo as the mobile theme active, if you want to check it out on mobile

The initial AMP plugin we released was designed based on the first version of the official AMP plugin for WordPress. Even though it was a tagDiv plugin, it still required the API of the official plugin.
The changes came from the official plugin as they limited the theme support in the version we used and instead of updating it, they launched a new version with another, better implementation. They also announced the initial release will shortly become deprecated.
This is why we decided to abandon our initial AMP plugin and use the new AMP implementation through the mobile theme. The new version required a specific theme for it as it would not have worked through the standard theme. There was no decision to take, unfortunately. If we have not made this step, soon the AMP plugin would have stopped working once the official AMP plugin implementation we used became deprecated.
So instead of a dedicated AMP plugin now the official and up to date AMP plugin can be used, with the mobile theme plugin (not required). Activating the mobile theme should improve the website performance on mobile noticeably.
If you use only the AMP plugin you should leave it on classic (this setting should be selected by default) – http://prntscr.com/muln5q
Note that this combination of official AMP plugin and mobile theme will be improved in coming updates. We will write down user suggestions and take them into account. We are not forcing anything, using the official AMP plugin and the mobile theme is optional. You can use just the AMP plugin, or even a different AMP plugin that has the functionality you need.
Please let us know if you have more questions or suggestions.
Hi,
If you do not made and changes on fonts size, those will be the same on mobile and desktop, if you made some changes those will not appear on mobile theme, will appear in default size.
For gradient color on header on mobile theme you’ll need to use this custom css -> https://www.screencast.com/t/ydR4yRN8
.td-header-wrap {
background-image: linear-gradient(to right, #321efc, #fec98a);
}
Set the code in theme panel>Mobile theme>Custom code -> https://www.screencast.com/t/KeLsSEk9h
Thank you!
Can I disable discuz comments on AMP pages with a custom code (in the mobile theme options)?
Hi,
So after activating the mobile theme, the AMP plugin and the required setting in the theme panel to integrate them, there is a problem. Those would be the only steps

We could take a look, provide admin access by email at contact@tagdiv.com and mention how we can recreate the issue you are facing. Please include a link to this topic in the email.
Thanks
Hi,
The old plugin was removed in update 9.6, now the official up to date AMP plugin can be used. This plugin can be integrated with our mobile theme, more about it here
– https://tagdiv.com/amp-newspaper-theme/
So you can use the mobile theme together with the AMP plugin, or if you want just the AMP plugin. If you have more questions let me know.
Thanks
Hi,
The new mobile theme with amp will look like the mobile version of this demo -> https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_local_news/

Mobile Theme: Automatic Optimization for Mobile with Newspaper Theme -> https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/
Unfortunately for the moment there is no option for this, but this will be integrate in mobile theme soon, for the moment all you can change are the colors -> https://www.screencast.com/t/DCXtbtQF

hello, TagDiv
my website contains regular pages and custom pages. after in stalled the new Mobile Theme and Official AMP for WP comes with the new update, I realized I don’t need them, how can I clean delete them from my mySQL?
Hi,
If you are using the mobile theme you’ll need to set the code for shortcode from child theme in mobile function too, because the child theme is not working for plugins, only for theme, here is the path -> wp-content/themes/Newspaper/mobile/functions.php
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/IgOtHRBlGaAS
Thank you!
Everything was going good, the previous TagDiv amp plugin was working as expected.
Now with 9.6 release it’s disabled & to use AMP official – Mobile theme is mandatory to be well optimized.
But problem is we’re unable to customize homepage layout, beside some of the features are not working in Mobile Theme
Ex: I’m using WPForms contact form on my website’s various contact pages.
Now all have become invisible in mobile view.
Help to sort out this problem please 🙁
Hi,
That will not work, if you copy the desktop content in the mobile editor it will appear as code or even cause problems. The mobile theme will not recognize the shortcodes, only simple text, images and what is possible with the classic editor.
The only solution to display the same content from desktop on mobile is to not use the mobile theme plugin. Use only the official AMP plugin then, or an AMP plugin of your choosing if needed.
The mobile menu button not working would mean there is a problem. You can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login so we can take a look at it. That shouldn’t happen. Let us know.
Thanks

Hello
After installing wordpress amp plugin with mobile theme, in native mode template, google is not able to differentiate amp and normal version as canonical tag is using default url. Google deindexed our amp pages and we are lossing visitors.
Please add canonical tags in both amp and normal version so thag google can index amp pages.
This is pure violation of seo optimization.
Theme is not showing ANY pages with shortcodes on the mobile theme or with it off.
Doesn’t show pages. Only posts which is a huge problem
I fix it……. Deactive TagDiv Mobile Theme and its ok
I already installed both the theme as per the image but still getting error.
You can see here, all themes are installed
https://prnt.sc/muqari
I have disabled the option as well as per your instruction
https://prnt.sc/muqca2
BUt error still persists
https://prnt.sc/muq52m

Dear Calin,
Seems the question is not understood well.
There is bug in AMP or mobile theme. It doesn’t work as it should be. Homepage only show last articles not the 3 styled posts.
It’s not possible to disable AMP on pages (edit), message it’s not possible to disable AMP)
Your site does not allow AMP to be disabled.
The initial question of this post.
Is it cleat now? I want to use AMP, but it doesn’t work as it should!
Kind regards,
Webagent05
Hi Calin,
I understand that the menu works for you now, that is because I do not use the mobile theme at this moment since it makes all those problems. As such, in an earlier post I wrote: I cannot show you, because I had to shut it off for my visitors not to be bothered by it.
Still, clicking the menu does not give any response when the mobile theme is ‘turned on’. How can I fix this?
Kind regards,
Siebren
Hi Chandan,
Unfortunately we did not tested that plugin with our theme, so we can not say what are the settings, but this is usually a cache problem, clear all cache and the problem should disappear.
Thank you!

Hi!
I want to have AMP pages that are in the style of my website, not in the standard style as is now (see, for example, https://www.streamwijzer.nl/arrow-netflix-stopt/amp/). I do not want to use the mobile theme plugin, because it makes the layout of my pages (homepage and other pages) horrible. How can I have, just like before the update of the theme, good looking AMP pages without use of the mobile theme. Of how can I use the mobile theme, while keeping the great responsive layout of the TD composer pages.
Kind regards,
Siebren
