I am using the tagdiv mobile theme and have it activated. When I go to the theme customizer and click on the mobile icon, I see the responsive desktop version not the mobile theme. https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/image/2773838/d1aa9ba5c149662ce03f1bcc17a3ec8b. Is there a way to view the mobile theme in the customizer?
Hi Bogdan!
No, pls, the mobile theme plugin is fantastic! I really can’t disable it!!
Is there a way to have just social networks icons on mobile footer using this plugin? I don’t know how to exclude “Brunno Giancoli” and “Sobre Nós” from it.
I don’t know where they are coming from. I don’t have a page or a post “Sobre Nós” (“About Us”).
Can you help me!!?
website: brunnogiancoli.com.br
Tks
Gabi
Thank you, that worked.
Is there any way I can make additional tabs appear only in the mobile version? I am not using the mobile theme.

Hi,
The responsive mobile version of the theme, or the mobile theme version will display on mobile. That is how the theme is designed and it cannot be changed. There are conditions in the theme that will display the mobile version in these conditions.
More information about the mobile theme and how it works here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
The theme will switch to the mobile version for better user accessibility and website usability, and will adapt all the theme elements for this situation automatically. This is a feature of the theme.
Thanks
Hello. I would like to set in PC version on the mobile. I removed code in the theme editor header.php (mobile/header.php)” <meta name=”viewport” content=”width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0, maximum-scale=1.0, user-scalable=no”>”, but it was not change at all. Please help me . My web site is http://interiornews.kr/
Hello,
The mobile footer is different because you use the mobile theme plugin most likely: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
If you want to have the exact same content as on desktop you will have to disable the plugin.
Thank you!
Hi,
Maybe you are using the mobile theme plugin. In this case you will have to edit the post template file that the mobile the uses
– https://www.screencast.com/t/TbFBzbDIU
The mobile theme does not use the post template files as the desktop version, it uses a different post template. Edit the file shown in the screenshot and insert the contact form shortcode in the post structure, where you want it to be displayed.
Thanks
I am working on a new site locally with MAMP PRO.
Everything was working great until yesterday, when I installed the mobile theme plugin.
After that I loose my main homepage.
Every time I try to open the page with tagdiv composer I have the same message:
Errors happened during tdcIframeData.init() -> bindViewsModelsWrappers()!
The steps I did:
I uninstalled the mobile theme plugin
I deactivated all the other plugins except the composer
I installed super cache plugin to delete the cache but I have not anything cached
I am not using yoast seo or any other composer
As you can see I did all the steps you are giving to other people with the same problem… but I still have it!
Can you please give a solution?
Hey Catalin,
thanks for your answer.
Okay, I get that. In the demo though, the “related articles” section looks similar to what I am looking for:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/ha6itml444n5zk2/Datei%2028.08.17%2C%2012%2019%2027.jpeg?dl=0
The problem is that my mobile theme looks unfinished whereas the mobile theme on the demo page looks perfectly fine.
Is it possible to get the demo styling without overwriting the existent content?
Hello,
Sorry but the menu on mobile cannot be changed to a desktop version in our theme. You can only request the desktop version from your mobile browser but you cannot make the theme show the desktop menu by default.
Thanks.
Hello Simon
Thank you for your reply.
The reason we are trying to use mobile theme plugin is that it offers additional banner areas specifically to be used in the mobile theme.
Our current design uses HMTL codes for banner areas and they don’t look as good as it is in the mobile theme.
We want to use additional banners only for mobile version.
Any idea will be appreciated!
Thank you
Hi,
The mobile theme is optional. The theme does not depend on this plugin and you can choose not to use it. In this case something must be causing the mobile theme style to apply when it should not.
This is usually caused by plugin conflicts, it could be a plugin that is interfering with the functionality and causing the mobile style to load. This can only be tested if the plugins would be deactivated and then tested. It may be optimization plugin, please try deactivating that and check if the website displays properly.
Thanks
Hi,
The mobile theme plugin may not work properly in that situation. If everything works perfectly on desktop, maybe it would be better to simply deactivate the mobile plugin. This plugin is optional, and the main theme is fully capable to display the best results on mobile devices due to it’s responsive design.
Thanks
Hey there. Super happy with the Theme so far.
My client asked, if it is possible to style the related articles on mobile to make it look like the frontage more.
Showing the featured picture etc like so:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/oh9ibsq36wfsaip/Datei%2027.08.17%2C%2002%2037%2051.jpeg?dl=0
Also: how can I change the background on mobile? Is it possible? My client would like some pattern instead of a plain white background
I would like to delete the category page headers or maybe just change the font in the mobile theme.

can you provide some guidance?
Hi,
On homepage it automatically renders a grid which contains featured posts and a latest posts section.
My mobile theme page does not renders grid! Please see the attached screenshot.
This template appears only if a static page is used, for this check the wp-admin Settings->Reading section.
It’s already selected. Here is my site link Info Inspired

Hi travisnw,
I’ve checked W3 Total Cache together with CloudFlrare on my WP Site. It’s great speed booster! But I found some issues this with Newspaper theme.
1. Newspaper Mobile Plugin behave improperly.
2. Frame Buster plugins or code is also not functioning properly.
You can use WP Super Cache as suggested by Bogdan B. Also use jetpack. This way I can regain my speed on desktop devices. Still on mobile the speed is not up to the mark.
Thanks & Br,
Prashanth
Does disabling this mobile theme plugin dramatically changes the theme code? During the theme update, I had a disastrous shake in my SERPs rankings. About disabling all other plugins, I will try it, however, I have all essential plugins installed. So, this would not be possible. Can you please take a look into the theme code on my site?

Hello All
We use Qtranslate-x very well in desktop and tablet versions
However, we installed the TagDiv mobile plug in and it shows the mobile theme only on one language. When we change the language, mobile theme switches back to desktop version.
Is there any way to fix this?
Hi
In mobile view.. using mobile theme … my website http://www.croatiaexplorers.com seems to open up new window if featured images are clicked on. Is there a simple way to stop this from happening.. i want nothing to happen on click.
Thanks
Hi,
If you deactivated the caching plugin, and the mobile theme is still not displaying properly, that probably means there is still a conflict. A suggestion would be to deactivate all plugins except theme plugins as a test, to see if the mobile theme is displayed as intended.
If it is, then enable the plugins one at a time, this should help identify the one responsible.
Thanks
Hi,
I just want to know on how to remove my old article in my mobile theme front page.. http://biliranisland.com/blogs
i want to change it with the new article. thanks
I deactivated to Total Cache plugin and I am still having the issue. I would like to keep the mobile theme, as I had issues with the responsive menu as well. Any other ideas that I could try?
Thank you for your help.
Abby
Have either of you added the schema markup for recipes and then checked to see if it was retained after you updated the theme? I’ve been asking about this on another thread. I was told that any changes we make to the theme will be overwritten every time the theme is updated. The impression I’ve gotten is that these markup changes will be overwritten.
Also, how exactly are you adding the recipe markup? I was using a recipe plugin in the past, but it was creating duplicate content. When I deleted it and formatted my recipes myself by creating a template, they started ranking higher (e.g., if you search “low fat marble cake” on Google desktop mine ranks at number 1 now). But I’m concerned because on mobile they rank lower and I think it’s partly because I don’t have the recipe markup…
