Hello lbartosek,

Unfortunately, our theme does not have any such an option that allows you to have the lazyload enabled on the desktop and disabled on mobile devices, sorry! If you want to display more levels, you should do it yourself and otherwise, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!

Thanks for the message!

Hello jollyroger,

Unfortunately, the ‘mobile theme’ has not been tested with our theme and we have no idea about the theme behavior with this module on Jetpack, sorry! You should remove this if you want to bring best results with our theme.

Thanks for your understanding!

The event page shows two extra blocks, from the plugin company they said: Your theme is adding these extra <p> tags that is whats causing the extra bars please contact your theme.

In this photo you can see the problem: http://www.screencast.com/t/IEd6MzksR0p

I want to erase the two extra bars that are empty below each event, all this in the mobile version.

Thank you!

Hello,

perhaps it can help someone else but I found the problem with my specific web site that was not working properly.

I had “mobile theme” by jetpack active.
This was “overwriting” the newsmag theme on mobile devices and did not work with VC.

Hello,

In order for the mobile translation to work, you also have to translate the theme from the panel like so: https://forum.tagdiv.com/loading-translations/
If you encounter issues with the translation you will have to contact us at contact@tagdiv.com and we will load the translation as there is an issue with loading translations that we are working on fixing.

Thank you!

Hello,

I tested this again on our testing platform and the error is not there anymore. Please update your theme to the latest version and disable the mobile theme plugin. delete files and install it again from the new theme package you download from envato.

Thank you!

Hello Chito,

Unfortunately, the mobile theme does not have any placeholder for blocks when the featured image is not active. I have added to our list of improvements and we will try fixing it in near future updates.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hello,

I understand your position but unfortunately this will be no easy task. The smart list template was created that way and it is a very complex part of the theme. The smart list template is not easy to change. Smart list 8 is the only smart list template that will keep the user image preference. The rest will modify the im age position. Unfortunately the mobile theme does not use smart list 8. If you want to alter the way the mobile smart list handles images, you will have to edit this file: https://www.screencast.com/t/7qJzigYw9y
There is no suggestion I can provide though as you will have to replicate the implementation of smart list 8
Unfortunately we cannot offer any custom work at the moment

Thank you for your understanding!

Great, thank you!
One more thing about Mobile. Our language is portuguese, and I translated the site on Newspape> Theme Panel> Translations but on mobile it doesn’t seem to be working. On footer as an example, ABOUT US should be translated to SOBRE NÓS, but there are other cases.

In this page you can see a form: http://pescazila.com.br/contato/

Thank you so much for your help!

Hello Kundurnews,

The theme update should not influence your theme structure, sorry! Do you update your theme via FTP way? I have checked on my side and the theme seems to work as properly and also, the mobile theme, as well. Try to revert the theme to the default state, without using some untested plugins which can interact with the theme packet and cause a lot of unknown issues. I have checked your theme console and I noticed that you have some errors through it which come from your theme customizations, sorry! You should get rid of them and then check the results. If the problem is still there, you should make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way and check the results. By default, the theme works as properly and it is mobile friendly.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hello,

I have checked your site but I cannot see this twitter button anywhere. Please provide an example of where should I look for it.
The social icons can be removed with this code:
.td-mobile-container .td-menu-socials{ display: none; }

Add the code in the theme panel->custom css box.

The comment counter on the front page can be removed from the theme panel like so: https://www.screencast.com/t/qDXO9jXbTcj

Thank you!

Hello Alexander Kleyman,

If you want to hide the sidebars from mobile view, you should use the code below and place it in Theme panel->Cusotm CSS area.

@media(max-width:767px){
.td-pb-span4{
display:none!important;
}
}
@media(max-width:767px){
.td-ss-main-sidebar{
display:none;!important;
}
}

Hope this helps!

Thanks for your understanding!

Not exactly, what I am trying to say is the post thumbnail when featured image is not set in a post. I see this issue in mobile home and category page when mobile theme is activated. Please see the screenshot where first post is not having thumbnail.

Thumbnail missing in first post

I understand. We are using one of the smart list styles on desktop that does not do this to images and we find that using a smart list is the best solution available for presenting this kind of information.

I have done a lot of customizations to both the main and mobile themes by tweaking the source code directly. All of these customizations have come from you and your colleagues’ assistance in this forum.

Are there any code changes I can make to the mobile smart list template that would stop this image replacement from happening?

Examples of changes I’ve already made to mobile:

  • Remove pagination on homepage
  • Change display of homepage block from “featured” to regular and offset the list below by three
  • Remove display of sister categories on category pages
  • Remove Whatsapp and Pinterest sharing options

As you can see, I’m not opposed to making changes when necessary and this smart list image issue is certainly one that has an impact.

Regarding using the responsive theme instead of mobile, this is not an option. We have promoted your mobile theme in particular as one of the reasons to visit our website and we won’t give up on that.

Any suggestions you can provide for modifying the code are appreciated. Thank you.

Also a couple more questions:

I have not installed the seperate mobile theme since it is already responsive but when the site shrinks for mobile, it shows social Icons even though I have them disabled on the main pages, how do you edit this?

And lastly, I will not be allowing comments on posts, how do you remove the comment counters that show up on the front page? I have already disabled the counters on the posts but they still show in the front page.

Hello,
Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Then install the mobile theme before any other plugins and check to see if it works properly.
Thank you!

Hello,
Other theme s do not use our own mobile menu. It is not the same element that runs better on a theme and on another one not. It is our own custom made menu. Please provide a link to your site so I can inspect it and see how the menu loads.
Thank you!

Thank you for the codes. The Header one worked perfectly, but the button one didn’t change anything.
This is what I need of a button:
Button needed

Another thing: I’m having trouble to take off the Media icons and Sign in button of the Menu, only on mobile. Can you please guide me on were can I disable this on mobile too? It is already disabled on Newspaper> Theme Panel> Header> Top bar
<b>mobile</b> sign in

Hello,

Unfortunately for the mobile theme does not have any font options at the moment. They can be changed with css though. Unfortunately there is no particular font to change on all the mobile theme at once. Our theme does not have a global font option. Individual elements must be changed.

Thank you!

Hello,

This is most likely because you use the mobile theme plugin. Please read this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
The mobile theme has it;s own ad spots and will ignore the desktop theme ads.

Thank you!
