Hi Catalin, I couldn’t explain my thoughts exactly.

Forget about it. I did it on my own.

I cut this code from mobile/footer.php and I pasted it to mobile/header.php

<div class="td-sub-footer-menu">
<?php
td_wp_nav_menu(array(
'theme_location' => 'footer-menu-mobile',
'menu_class'=> 'td-subfooter-menu',
'fallback_cb' => 'td_wp_footer_menu'
));

//if no menu
function td_wp_footer_menu() {
//do nothing?
}
?>
</div>

And I modified “td-sub-footer-menu” tag on mobile/style.css

You can check it on my site.

Thank you, no problem at all. I just wanted to clarify how the mobile theme worked, and that it was a very different experience for end users than the standard theme. I have tested it and it is quite a bit faster, so there is still the possibility of using it without the navigation and categories that I use now, and with a different navigation menu, but there’s always the possibility that a user will get sent to one of the pages that exist and see a blank screen.

I use a custom font for my h tags. I don’t see a way in the settings to set this in the new mobile theme.

Is this something that will be added or something that I need to change via css?

I have my custom thumb sizes defined already. In the mobile theme how to I change the thumb size that is used to one of my already defined thumb sizes?

Oh no, I could not tell you exactly.

I can enable top menu on responsive mobile theme, but you removed it on new mobile theme. Now we can set mobile main menu and mobile footer menu from the theme panel.

For example I select “X menu” as main menu and “Y menu” as footer menu. I want to show “y menu” in the top of site logo (like to top menu).

Can I MOVE footer menu to the top of site’s logo?

Hello webcrit,

Please notice that if you want to display your Top menu for your mobile theme, it is not possible because the top bar container was removed to mobile theme layout. So, in other cases, it should appear as properly. Try to clear all your caches and test it again.
If you problem is still there and if you need further assistance in this regard, please provide your website URL so I can inspect it closer.

Thank you for your understanding!

Hello cristiandark,

I have checked our black version demo view theme and I did not saw any issues through it. What do you mean exactly? The main menu is the same in the normal and mobile theme…where is the problem?

Thank you for your message!

Thomas

I just check for normal and mobile theme and both are already in my purple color.

I validate another time and kill the cache but no change.

Hello ns85gs,

Yes, it is possible this thing. Please check your mobile settings from your theme panel and there you can see this setting, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/uFy9ugd30pTW For more information about mobile theme, please check our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Thanks.

Hi,
Unfortunately for the mobile theme there is no top menu. There can be only the main header menu and the footer menu that can be added here: http://screencast.com/t/HsqWFK5t
If these menus do not show up at all, please provide a link so we can inspect this issue.
Thanks.

Hello,
The mobile theme uses a different file structure than the desktop theme. You need to edit this file in order to add the facebook comments to your posts: http://screencast.com/t/2HJ9YNpPgt2d
Thanks.

Hello stevemitchell,

Please notice that what you want to achieve it is not possible using our mobile theme because as you can see, this feature has been designed to be very basic as structure, just to be easy to use and fast. If you are unhappy with this mobile theme, I recommend you to disable the mobile theme feature and use only the mobile responsive version because this can be customized as you wish.

Thank you for your understanding!

Hello Stefan,

Also, you can provide some useful screenshots which to describe your errors/issues. Please notice that you website URL is necessary in this case.

Hi,
Please read a bit about the mobile theme here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
It adds another mce editor for the pages and ALL the pages except the homepage need to be created in this editor to display on the mobile theme.Basically there will be 2 versions of each page. The desktop one you already have and you have to create another one for mobile without using VC. The mobile theme does not use visual composer in order to provide better loading speed.
Thank you!

Hello ns85gs,

Please notice that the top-bar menu is hidden for mobile responsive version and with a bit of CSS you can enable it but please notice that on mobile theme version the top bar menu is definitely removed and you cannot be called with CSS custom code.

Thank you for your understanding!

Hello,

@elocuent
if you use the mobile theme, the translation will have to come from the theme panel and not other plugins. Please load a translation from here: http://screencast.com/t/nx4b5l6QB result: http://screencast.com/t/c0V7WjlZOra

@Cybergh0sT

Please disable all your plugins except visual composer and clear all your caches that means the caching plugin, a cdn server or hosting cache. Then check again.

Thank you!

Hi,

The other problems seem to not be problems at all, but the mobile theme edtior now introduced with the mobile theme plugin. You cannot add visual composer on the mobile theme as it was created to not use it. There are 2 editors in page edit now. Please scroll down to see the second editor for desktop: http://screencast.com/t/Imy7o0XxET
Your pages will not display as before on mobile phones with the mobile theme. It was designed to get the most speed for mobile users and this could not be done with visual composer. If you plan on using the mobile theme you need to create your mobile version of the pages. If you do not want to use this plugin you can simply deactivate it from the plugins section.
You can read more about the mobile theme here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Thank you!

Hello,

1) The issues you are facing are not issues at all. It’s just the way the mobile theme displays content. The mobile theme will not show content created for the desktop version. It will however display the latest articles if you have them set on that particular page. If you plan on using the mobile theme plugin, you will have to create a mobile version of your pages without the use of visual composer, just by using the mobile editor (the second mce editor now available in the page edit)

2)The subscription can be made through the theme login option in the mobile menu. Unfortunately the theme has no alternative subscription method. You can try to add the widget from the sidebar inside the page content in the mobile editor. I see you use the mailchimp subscription for the newsletter, so maybe mailchimp allows you to add a subscription form inside the mce editor.

Thank you!

Hi

This is the code which generate registration form: http://screencast.com/t/1xZslKaa so you can try to replace it with plugin’s shortcode. However I am not sure how this plugin will work whit our theme as we send the register information trough ajax to the database. Most likely you’ll need to adapt the plugin at theme’s system.
We can’t offer plugin implementation at the moment so if you still need guidance on this or you’re not aware of the steps you need to take in this regard please consider hiring a developer or a freelancer to do this for you.

By default the login widget don’t appear on mobile devices. To achieve that you need some css so please provide your site url as I need to inspect this closer in order to provide the proper code.

Thanks!

I use custom thumbnail sizes on my site. I use the 16×9, video size dimensions only.

On the mobile theme, it’s using different dimensions. You can see for yourself at wpcrafter.com

If you can point me to the code to change that would be awesome.

Thanks for all the new features in 7.0.1, and all the code improvements. Now I only have to make 1 parent theme code change on each update, so life is getting easier for me.
