Hello!
Please use the latest update of the theme and plugins.
We’ve discussed here what you can try to exclude or not use: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/admin-ajax-loading-time/
If you do not use default templates and styles, then you can deactivate the Standard Pack plugin.
Read this useful guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/what-is-ajax-preloading/
Please note that page speed or optimization is not covered by the support team: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-support/

My site is projectinsight.com.au. I have followed the themes instructions, but cannot get the header logo to change. I see it works on my mobile but not on the computer. I have cleared my cache and that didnt help. I loaded the logo to the Newspaper > Theme Panel and the TagDiv Composer panel, but it still doesnt change.
Please help. Thanks.
Hello,
You have a cloud template, so please check if you have set it global -> https://i.imgur.com/nkvi0hS.png -> https://i.imgur.com/LasaPyy.png Do you have created a mobile page?
Thank you!
Hello,
No.
Please check this topic where I explained each mobile version -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-version-not-working-properly-2/
Thank you!
Does the “Newspaper Free News Pro” have a Mobile Template?
Thank You
I don’t understand, how to configure homepage header, it seams isn’t the header I choose in the theme configuration.
So in the mobile only in homepage it don’t work properly, in the other page works correctly, but I don’t understand where I can configure.
In addition when I check sticky version on mobile the header disappeared.
With that, should the created templates (mobile templates) appear normally?
I have already followed the steps.
Hello,
Please check if your cache plugin is configured like in this guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ please make sure that you have the cache mobile enabled.
Thank you!
Hello,
Yes, you can use it only for mobile. Please make sure that you have selected the viewport for the phone.
Thank you!
My homepage uses amp, has been for years. I see its now deprecated. How am I going to resolve this issue? If I edit the mobile page it looks fine, but actually going to it from my phone does not look correct.
i need only on mobile
Fine, thanks. Yes, I solved it. I hadn’t been able to respond before.
There are times that the home page and the single page are misconfigured and sometimes the mobile version of the template itself appears and other times it is the mobile template.
What is the cause of that?
Sometimes it is as if there is no homepage or entry template and other times it is fine, just as it is in the mobile template.
It’s the only thing that makes it not completely well done.

Hello,
Disabling the mobile theme for pages is only possible in the Gutenberg editor.
Thank you!
Hi TagDiv, I have some queries…
Is there a known fix for the issues on the screenshot, mainly concerning the font files (ex. can we add “font-display: swap;”).
Here are the links to the files in question:

Also, the element ‘Big Grid Flex 3’, doesn’t allow content preloading as the other block elements. I provided screenshots as examples.

Is there a known way of preloading this grid and its elements?

Hello.
I use tagdiv custom header.
On desktop is all ok, on mobile I need to show a simple text above logo but it appears only logo and hambuger menu.
its possibile to do that?
I liked it, thank you for the video, but I think you didn’t understand my question. I’m using your Mobile plugin, which disables almost everything, including shortcodes, and on some specific pages I need them. How do I prevent the Mobile plugin from showing these specific pages? If I’m using WordPress blocks, there’s a menu on the right side with a button from you, “Don’t use the Mobile plugin for this page.” Okay? It works, but where is this option in the Classic Editor or in your Page Builder?
Hmm, it looks that you are using the mobile theme plugin and this was why the general code was not apply.
From what I se now you’ll need just one small edit, please add this css :
you can add the width in this code
.td-main-menu-logo img {
max-height: 100px;
bottom: unset;
width: 100%;
}
#td-outer-wrap .td-header-wrap {
height: 100px;
}
This should make the logo look the same as on desktop.
Hi Bettina. More info on the flex loop filters, but with a different site this time … Arlington Magazine. Here is a video that shows the issue:
https://www.loom.com/share/0b4a0a32247a4bc3b6975e0ddd1499b2?sid=0e4b16be-d9d5-40b6-9652-191ff263300b
Please note that the URL in question right now is https://staging.arlingtonmagazine.com/listings/top-doctors/, but we are launching the site live today so the URL will be https://www.arlingtonmagazine.com/listings/top-doctors/ after we launch.
The flex loop filter element is “preselecting” the first value … Addiction Medicine. The filter hasn’t actually been applied yet, but it’s displaying the first value. Instead, it should be displaying — Select Category — … you’ll see this behavior in the video.
This seems to only happen when the filter is a category … when the URL needs to change to the proper category slug. It doesn’t seem to happen when the filter is a tag because in that case TagDiv handles the filter as URL parameters.
Anyway, please check the video. We’re going to launch this today with the dropdown so that your team can look at it. But we’ll need to change it back to the buttons soon because of this bug.
BTW, the buttons aren’t really an option because this list has a LOT of categories that make it too long for mobile. We really need to display this filter as a dropdown as soon as the bug is fixed.
Thanks and have a great day!
–Eric
Hello,
Unfortunately, I have to inform you that this option will not be implemented because a simple mobile version is desired using the mobile theme.
Thank you!
As subject, please allow restrict Post Type (to post) for Search in Mobile Theme, similar to related setting TagDiv composer for modules&desktop.
Please consider, thank you.
Ok working on the other part of customization, the Mobile Theme -> Custom Code, I obtained some results using this code:
.td-header-wrap {
height: 90px;
}
.td-main-menu-logo img {
max-height: 90px;
bottom: unset;
}
#td-top-mobile-toggle, .td-search-icon {
display: none;
}
Not perfect but a big step.
Thanks,
David.
Hello!
Edit the article with the tagdiv Composer. Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better. Change the font here: https://app.screencast.com/h7Z6iSqhibQGe
Documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/font-customization/
Thank you!
Okay, thanks.
In another matter, I am not using the tagDiv mobile theme or Google MVP. I am fine with the normal mobile version of my newspaper theme. But please, how can I change the font and enlarge the size of the text in the body of my posts, particularly with the mobile?
Thank you.
Hi,
It is not recommended to use more cache options. Can you please ask your host if he can help you with this issue? Also, you can check this topic https://stackoverflow.com/questions/74518534/varnish-how-to-cache-for-mobile-and-desktop-site
Thank you!
Hello,
Please check with the tagDiv Composer and disable the H1. For example, H1 from logo(header, footer, mobile, sticky): https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/6-h1-tags-on-front-page-bing-have-deindexed-my-site/
Thank you!
