I can not get the search box in the header to display in all browsers. I only get it to work in Chrome for PC (Windows 10).
For all other browsers nothing happens when clicking on the search icon.
I am using Header Style 12.
This is the site: http://www.vgrfokus.se

I turned off sticky menu to avoid any conflicts, but it does not help.

Mobile version of the search box works fine.

Thank you,
your code doesn’t work but I solved using that custom CSS code:
.td-health .td-header-wrap .td-header-main-menu {
background-color: #219ed3!important;
}
.td-health .header-search-wrap .td-icon-search {
color: #ffffff !important;
}
.td-health #td-top-mobile-toggle i {
color: #ffffff !important;
}

Last question, removing the theme what I will lose? And between removing theme and
CSS customizazion, wich is the site BEST/FASTER solution method?

Hi,

Please do not post such export codes in the topic, it is causing problems to the forum functionality.
The Health demo you mention has custom design as all demos have, in this case including a background color set for the mobile menu bar by the demo. This would override the color you are trying to set through the theme panel.
A solution would be to remove this design choice from the demo stylesheet
https://www.screencast.com/t/BrvYKagQOoEE
A different solution would be to use a similar code to change the background color
https://www.screencast.com/t/KYHmMwX9K
This code has to be entered in Theme panel->Custom CSS section, if you decide to use it.

@media (max-width: 767px) {
.td-header-wrap .td-header-main-menu {
background-color: #219ed3!important;
}}

Let us know if you require further help, or you have more questions.

Thanks

Hi,

Please provide a link to your website so we can inspect the mobile issue. If you updated the theme, please update Visual composer as well
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
Maybe make a backup in case something unexpected happens.
If you decide to switch to the tagDiv composer, you will have to recreate all your pages with it
https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/

Thanks

Thank you, i’ve done it, but still have the same problem on mobile phone. It got better on tablets though.

The background image is not the same size with the rest part of website on mobile devices, it’s much wider.

Thank you Catalin,

It works now.. Can you tell me on how add the Search icon on the top right in the mobile menu?

Hello jalmz,

I have inspected your mobile website and I saw that your mobile menu button is white and that’s why it’s invisible. Try to change the color of it using the following code ->

#td-top-mobile-toggle i{
color:#111;
}

The result is here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/KjD5lgAzMXuu

Thanks.

Hi,

You could use some CSS to customize how it displays. Something like this will work for the present situation
https://www.screencast.com/t/MVOHZ7MTcW
This is the code used, enter it in Theme panel->Custom CSS if you decide to use it

.td-menu-background,
.td-mobile-container {
width:75%;
}

You can use the browser inspector to identify the elements present on the page and their classes and create custom code
https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/

Thanks

could you help me find the CSS code to change?

Thank you

Hi,

It should work, that is how the mobile menu bar background color is supposed to be changed
https://www.screencast.com/t/bGeJpiQf
https://www.screencast.com/t/Gm4ws5dMI4hN
A possible cause for the change to not be displayed could be caching. Please try and clear any caching installed and check the results.
If there is still a problem please provide a link to your website so we can inspect it. Configure the theme panel color before with the color you want. Maybe we can identify what is happening.

Thanks

What did you update? And, did you clear your mobile browser cache to see the new site?

Hello,

I updated my website and there seems to be an issue with my mobile site now. Everything looks pretty messed up – the desktop website is, however, totally fine. Is there something I can do to fix this?

Best,
Carly

Hi,
In primis, I can’t use tagDiv mobile plugin because is very very incompatible with many external plugins like Contact form 7, newsletter plugin, etc … so I have to use native Newspaper mobile theme purposes.

Now, I want to change background color within Mobile menu bar:
from Newspaper > Theme colors > Section, Mobile menu/Mobile search > MENU BAR – BACKGROUND COLOR
Select menu background color putting #219ed3 (my primary color theme) but it doesn’t work!
How can I solve this issue?

Thanks

Hi,

I have tried to add an icon in the menu like this
https://www.screencast.com/t/Ry0fST34go
The results are here, both desktop and mobile
https://www.screencast.com/t/FJlKfyRhPP
https://www.screencast.com/t/tHSjDBAk
Even for all menu items – https://www.screencast.com/t/4GXl5Rfc7v
So the icons should be displayed properly for you as well. Double check how you added the icons.

Thanks

Hi, how could I hide the Author box on some categories only (all devices)?
FYI, I already have this code in Custom code > Custom CSS
.category-NAME .td-module-meta-info {
display: none;
}

And this one for Mobile Custom CSS
.single .category-NAME .td-module-meta-info{
display:none;
}

Thanks for your help

Hello! The mobile menu for my site (https://futurebangers.com) works great but the icon for ‘Genres’ is shown right above the dropdown arrow, instead of to the left of the text. Is there a way around this?
Thanks in advance.

Hello Ginebiene,

I have inspected again your website and I saw that you are using Visual Composer elements inside the post content and if you are using the mobile theme, thatțs why you bring the shortcodes on mobile devices because the mobile theme plugin does not recognize any shortcodes. The easier way, in this case, would be to disable the mobile theme because the theme will be switched to the general responsive mode and then, all of the shortcodes will be correctly displayed for any devices.

Thanks for the message!

Hi,

It seems there is a problem with the mobile functionality. Please try as a test to deactivate all plugins except theme plugins, and clear all caching. If possible deactivate the caching plugin as well.
Then check if the pagination issue is fixed. I have tested this on mobile while having only theme plugins active, there is no problem with the mobile pagination. So it could be a plugin or maybe if you have made any modifications to the theme files.

Thanks

Hi,

There should be no problem displaying YouTube videos in the post content, on mobile as well. I have tested this and it is working for me. Simpy paste the video link in the post content and it will appear
