Hello !

Mobile – Will only show mobile theme layout
Mobile + AMP ( Which i recommend ) is the same Mobile Theme layout but it uses AMP which helps you with Google.
AMP – is a non editable template which will show only the basic information from your website which google decides what to display.

I hope this was helpful !

Thank you !

Hi,
1. Normal, no, if you want to have the same layout on mobile as for desktop. Normal the ads from desktop should display on responsive version of theme.
2. I just checked your website few times and for the moment the header ad on mobile is displaying -> https://i.imgur.com/ixSScBe.png is there a specific page or posts where this problem appear.
Thank you!

Hi pavel_t,
If you do not use a background color or image, then you can use tagDiv Composer to stretch a row from content too -> https://i.imgur.com/H0Hi2q3.jpg also for mobile version it can be adjusted too.
Hope it will help you!
Thank you!

Dear sirs,

there are 3 AMP template modes:
– Standard;
– Transitional;
– Reader.

Could you, please, provide a detailed and thorough explanation for each of these options and which one should I use with your mobile theme.

Thank you in advance!

Dear sirs,

I’ve read the articles:
https://tagdiv.com/amp-newspaper-theme/
https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/

And, sorry, but I don’t understand how to setup AMP SETTINGS:
– Mobile – Displays content using the Mobile Theme on small screen devices (no AMP)
– Mobile+Amp – Displays content using the Mobile Theme on both mobiles and AMP
– AMP – Uses the responsive version of the theme on small screen devices and Mobile Theme only on AMP.

Yes, I studied PHP and CSS. But the explanaitions above doesn’t make sense to me.

Could you, please, provide a detailed and thorough explanation for each of these options: Mobile, Mobile+Amp, AMP.

Thank you in advance!

Hello !
I have tried deactivating the Mobile Theme plugin earlier. But not getting the Hamburger Menu on Mobile screens. The header is not responsive. Check the screenshot: http://prnt.sc/vg9gut

With the current desktop header, HOW CAN I FIX THE MOBILE RESPONSIVE ISSUE… Just need the hamburger menu and the Logo(Text/image), and a search icon would be great…

Thank you!

Hey Calin, Thanks for the response.
Couple Questions:

1. Do i need to use the Mobile Theme plugin for my ads to show on mobile? I don’t necessarily want to have to maintain separate versions of my site.

2. I went ahead and cleared the site caches and its looking better. But for some reason the Header AD on mobile now. Doesn’t load all of the time.. sometimes it just appears as a little dot at the top of the screen.

All of our Featured Images are large and always have been and render fine on a normal laptop or Desktop. We have also regenerated ALL of the Featured Images, and the problem still exists. It’s not just blurry but many images simply don’t show at all. Here is a good example – The image size is fine, but when you look at it on your Mobile, it is non-existent: https://www.bizcatalyst360.com/what-if-we-can-re-humanize-school-again/

Hello !

The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices. Unfortunately on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design. If you want to have the same design as on desktop mode you can achieve that by simply disabling the mobile theme.

You will have to recreate your pages into the Mobile editor or completely disable the mobile theme. The mobile editor will not render shortcodes !

Also you can disable mobile theme on certain pages or posts by following this setting:

Please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Mobile theme plugin can be disabled from Newspaper Plugins as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/LnkZCEVC

You are now able to create mobile viewport templates as you can see in our guide here: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/

! Atention ! If you are using mobile templates you will have to remove the mobile theme plugin and also at the moment AMP is not working with mobile templates.

Please note that at the moment the Support team is not 24/7 available. We answer the topics from Latest to Newest Monday – Friday from 08:00AM to 05:00PM GMT+2

Thank you !

Hello !

We are sorry for the inconvenience !

Please note that we recommend WP Super Cache not WP Rocket since some of WP Rocket plugin can cause issues with Newspaper Theme. Wp Rocket can be used only on responsive version ( not on mobile theme). If you use WP Super cache please make sure that it is configured properly and that you are not using any other caching plugin.

Let us know the result.

Thank you !

Hi Nomisma, is possible that the above problems to be case by some untested plugins, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins (theme plugins), also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Also, now the mobile version is working -> https://i.imgur.com/AK2GCwO.png -> https://i.imgur.com/hbK84pL.png
If you are using cloudflare make sure that you have set it as in our guide from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
If there is still a problem, please let me know!
Thank you for your understating!

Hello !

It looks like you are using Mobile Theme plugin. At the moment you will need to disable the mobile theme plugin in order to work with the new templates.

Hi,
I think that you are seeing the mobile version on desktop. This problem is usually from the cache plugin that doesn’t recognize that there are two themes, one for desktop and one for mobile version (mobile theme plugin).
If you are using the mobile theme plugin, please make sure that you are using a cache that can different the mobile version from desktop version, a tested cache plugin is WP Super cache, here is a guide with the settings that need to be made for this plugin -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!

Hi Tuxon33,

It looks that now the mobile version is displaying correctly -> https://i.imgur.com/kVv8JHL.png -> https://i.imgur.com/3S7vAFh.png
We still provide the WPBakery plugin with our theme, but we do no longer use it for our demos, for example for pro demos these are made only with tagDiv Composer and cloud templates.
If there is still a problem, please let me know!

Thank you!

Hi Jose,
Is possible that the problem the be from the code that you have set in mobile functions and theme functions. For example this code echo ‘<link rel=”preload” href=”https://soyungato.com/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/images/icons/mobile-theme.woff&#8221; as=”font”>’; should be set only in mobile functions.php is no need for it in theme functions.
Please check this and hope it will help you!
