Hello,
You seem to be using an external plugin that adds a bottom margin.
Please note that untested plugins are not covered by the theme support but we try to help out where we can if the modification is not very time consuming.
Please use this css to remove the extra space:
.flexslider{
margin:0!important;
}
You can add the code in the theme panel-custom css box.
Thanks.
Is there a way in the theme to move the position of the comments? we would like it higher on the page just below the author instead of at the bottom of the page.
Can we do it in the theme or must we change it in the PHP file?
Hi,
You can remove the Twitter share from the code in both cases (top and bottom sharing) or just disable the top one from the theme panel if you don’t need it
– https://www.screencast.com/t/8FH2KVAt
You could add another sharing option, but only by a plugin or widget. By default there are no options to add more sharing options on the post page. Maybe more settings will be added in future updates in the matter.
The same for the Pinterest functionality, it would be better to use a plugin that has these options for more customization, if there are any.
Thanks
Here is the page. https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/
But you did not answer the most important question. I am operating from Washington DC and I realised that when I try to create a new page using TagDiv Composer, once I click on “add element”, I can see the elements, but I cannot move any to any page on the right. It shows a white page on the right but no element can be moved there. That’s why I had purchased Visual Composer because it was not working. So my question is, does it have to do with where I am operating from. I am also using a Google Chrome browser, does it have to do with the browser? I am also using a Window 10 laptop, does it have to do with the version of the Window I am using? The bottom line is even after watching your video, which is not detailed as it assumed that elements would be moved easily. But they are not moving. Maybe I should mention that once I open to create a new page, I see Back end editor and TagDiv composer, and once I choose TagDiv and proceed to add an element, it is just frozen from there. Your demonstration is gorgeous, but it’s simply not working for many of us.
Good afternoon. And I use header-style-1 and I want to reduce its height. For this I want to remove indents from the bottom and from above, but I can not find the file in which the indents are spelled out. Tell me how to do it?

Hello all,
@louwvanriet, I have inspected your homepage and I saw that in the bottom of the page you have displayed the header ad. Do you have manually add it there? Also, I have checked your source page and I saw that you are using a lot of unknown plugins which can interact with the theme core files and cause a lot of unknown issues. You should remove all of them, leaving just our required theme plugins, clear all the caches and check the results.
@amilson50 Unfortunately, I cannot access your wp-admin because it seems to be incorrect, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/tn8e5dnj Please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can further inspect it closer your setup page.
Thanks for the message!
Hello Ginebiene,
If you want to remove that gradient, you should use a bit of CSS code to do this. Try the code below and place it in Theme panel->Custom CSS area.
The code is ->
.td-image-gradient-style7:after{
display:none;
}
Also, if you want to change the light of them, you should change the parameters from the following CSS rule, like this ->
The code is ->
.td-image-gradient-style7:after{
background: linear-gradient(to bottom, rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.3) 0%, rgba(0, 0, 0, 0) 18%, rgba(0, 0, 0, 0) 28%, rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.8) 100%);
}
Thanks for the message!
Hi,
Please try this code to make the margin bottom property of 10px for the ads (you can remove the previous code) – https://www.screencast.com/t/3OFMiiU0lrl
.ajdg_grpwidgets,
.td-a-rec-id-sidebar,
.td-g-rec-id-custom_ad_3 .adsbygoogle {
margin-bottom: 10px!important;
}
Thanks
I have on my home page of http://slivki24.club: Big Grid 7, Ad box, Block 5 sections.
But in the bottom, there is “Latest” section which I did not add http://imgur.com/a/LgPww.
How to remove it?
Hello,
I am attempting to remove the comments from the homepage of my blog and went on theme panel to deactivate the comment count but still there appears a comment box at the bottom of my page. I tried editing the page as well but there is no comment widget added so I’m not sure through which method I am supposed to deactivate it. Please let me know how, thank you!
Hi,
Try inserting this code – https://www.screencast.com/t/qlgEQTvwfCz in the Advanced Css section in the theme panel
– https://www.screencast.com/t/iUZj3aZqWOy
Just move it from that section to the desktop section in advanced Css. This way the code will apply only on desktop where it looks properly. The mobile look will not be affected anymore by this padding.
Then enter the code provided below to remove the padding bottom on the category pages
– https://www.screencast.com/t/XmgWHSD7
You can enter the code normally, the padding appears only on mobile.
.category .td-category-grid .td_block_wrap {
padding-bottom: 0;
}
Thanks
Hello colleenkinsey,
Here is talking about Article Bottom Ad, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/6UVXvztcn and if you want to remove this you should disable the option from Theme panel, like this -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-article-ads/
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello at the bottom of my posts I’m seeing a NewsMag Ad for the theme. An example of this is here: https://coustii.com/hey-soul-sister-uke-tab/ Right before the bottom sharing settings. I’ve gone through all the Ad settings, in the Theme panel and turned them off, but I’m still seeing this appear on the posts. How do I remove it?
Hi there,
I would like to create a poll from time to time for my audience. The poll will use a custom post type and I can create a special layout template from Visual Composer for all poll posts.
I want to remove these elements from the poll posts:
– social share buttons (top and bottom)
– author card
– next and previous post
– category and tag
– breadcrumb
Note that these elements are standard for other posts and I would like to keep them. I will use ‘Custom CSS’ plugin to insert custom codes to remove the above for ONLY poll posts.
Can you provide the codes that I can add in ‘Custom CSS’ to remove the above elements? Or is there any other better way to do this, ie custom css for only certain type of post?
Thanks in advance
Good evening, I would like to remove the white space in my category.
I’ve already been removed from homepage with the following code:
.td-main-page-wrap {
Padding-top: 0;
Padding-bottom: 0;
}
How can I do the same thing on category pages?
Thanks and good work and compliments for this beautiful theme.
NB:How can i put pictures in the forum?
Hello,
You can reduce the bottom margin set to the ad but this will also remove some of the space below ‘Coris Medicina Avançada’
.td-a-rec-id-sidebar > div{
margin-bottom:0!important;
}
Add the code in the theme panel-> custom cs box.
Thank you!
Hi,
We will gladly help you, but please provide a link so we can inspect this and provide an accurate solution.
I ask you this because using header style 6 with the logo in menu, the logo height is automatically controlled by main menu line height you set in panel. By default it is 80px – https://www.screencast.com/t/Jhu9An8GrxdD – https://www.screencast.com/t/YjHWzE2IW but if I change the line height in panel – https://www.screencast.com/t/aiwJNhxfST also the logo height is affected – https://www.screencast.com/t/AKu6FHJZ
There is only a 3px top/bottom padding, so if this is what you want to remove, then please try this code:
.td-header-style-6 .td-main-menu-logo img {
padding: 0;
}
Thanks!
Hi,
That means you use probably use speedbooster and have the css moved to the footer to improve page speed. Css will provide this effect. Please add the code in style.css at the very bottom of the file to have it not blink.
Thanks.
If you disable speedbooster and the problem goes away it means you are not removing the correct stylesheet from the plugin or you did not clear the cache after you removed the code. If you want to alter the style.css you will have to create the color change css code and add it at the bottom of style.css but you will need a bit of css skills for it.
Thanks.
1) On my mobile the header ad and article bottom ad always seems to go across the width of mobile screen https://www.screencast.com/t/AR1IGSoloIA I tried changing the ad size for mobile under the settings but it still shows different sizes of ad.
2) How do I remove or hide this part of footer from Mobile https://snag.gy/v9krpQ.jpg
Thank you
Hi,
You can not set a video playlist as a widget in the sidebar. You could add it as a normal element in a split row sidebar however – https://www.screencast.com/t/hEc2NxtaA – https://www.screencast.com/t/bP2CKQDj
If you would like to have a bigger logo, please note that Header style 9,10 and 11 do not have a limit for the image used in the logo – https://forum.tagdiv.com/logo-favicon/ and you can set as logo a full image for example.
The ad code for the header must be entered in the Header section in Theme panel->Ads
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-ads-adsense/
The social sharing top and bottom in the post page can be disabled like this
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/sharing/
The ad can be removed in Theme panel->Ads in the respective section. If that is the article bottom ad you have to remove it here – https://www.screencast.com/t/W3UpvEmE7
More about using article ads here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/article-ads/
The Latest articles section is always displayed on the bottom of the page, after the page content. More about page templates here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-templates-2/
If the images are not appearing, make sure you have set a featured image for the posts
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image-or-video/
And you have enabled the thumbs required for the modules, in theme panel
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/
If you are using the optional mobile theme plugin, you must use the mobile editor to ad content for your pages
– https://www.screencast.com/t/82poCQT5Bp
More information about the mobile theme here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
If you do not use the mobile theme plugin, the same content from desktop will be displayed on mobile devices. The theme is fully responsive, and will adapt to every screen size.
Thanks
Thanks for your reply.
1) Am after something like this: https://ps.w.org/widgetize-navigation-menu/assets/screenshot-3.jpg
So people can search by clicking a magnifying glass icon or search box in the main menu.
Or even in the top menu like my other site where there is a search box up top: http://www.hangthebankers.com
Is there an option or code that allows it? Or do you know of a plugin that would work?
2) towards the bottom of the home page: https://smallcaps.com.au/
In the interview section.
This image is from my home page:

Hi Bogdan, I have the same issue at https://matfrabunnen.no (bottom of page) and I tried updating the CSS, however it’s not working properly. The thumbs are still very dark. How can I remove the shadow over the images completely?
Hi,
If you are talking about this element – https://www.screencast.com/t/1cHUjzpXu3 it seems to be originating from the article bottom ad section – https://www.screencast.com/t/yo4V20BuXq
Please check that respective section in theme panel – https://www.screencast.com/t/cwsrP0soeWJ and remove any code that is present, clear the cache then check if it still appears on the post page.
Thanks
Hi,
You can use this code that will remove the padding set on top of the page, as well as the bottom padding
– https://www.screencast.com/t/TgF71sWIoo
The code must be entered in Theme panel->Custom Css
.td-main-page-wrap {
padding-top: 0;
padding-bottom: 0;
}
Thanks
