Good morning,
I find the following problems:
– If I try to optimize the various custom ADs, they will no longer be visible in the theme
– Being simple images, not google adv, then I try to insert them as images, but I get cut and grainy.

I have already disabled WP Bakery page builder

Rest to yours,
Greetings

Hello,

the theme does not offer any settings in this regard but you canmaybe try the solution provided here: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/how-to-compress-the-instagram-feed-images-my-website-load-more-due-to-this/

Hi guys,

I am very serious about my on-site optimization and found out that images from the Instagram plugin are pretty heavy for such a small size: 100-110kb. Which could easily go down to 10-20kb. How could I optimize them when they are being dynamically extracted from Instagram. Could you help me with this? Basically I think this is something that should be improved.

Thanks
Seb

Hi,

We followed the AMP instructions for our plugin so there should be no problem in the matter
https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/amp-analytics/

Hello prem221,

Unfortunately, notice that you should optimize your HTML to be responsive, sorry! As a quick solution, notice that you should try using a Responsive Table Generator from here -> https://ianrmedia.unl.edu/responsive-table-generator-tool to create a valid HTML table structure.

Thanks for the message!

Hi
I have moved from the Genesis framework to newspaper theme. Everything is okay with the theme but one major issue I have found may be hoping that in the future update you will rectify it.

When I use the table of six columns and row it does not properly optimize on the mobile device but it looks good on the Desktop and Tablet screen.
I am no mood in using any plugin as after removing the plugin post looks ugly.
Most of the content on my website is depend on Table only.

Please rectify it
I am showing some example
Here is the post where four table is used.
https://www.isportsleague.com/pro-kabaddi-team-bengal-warriors/

the first table is okay as it is small.
the second table is created during the old theme.
The third and fourth table is created while using the newspaper theme. I have changed some HTML code so it looks good in the third table but the last table is just for test purpose for you all. You can see this is not showing properly on Mobile. Please help me.

Hello politico,

Did you have tried the Mobile Theme plugin? Please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ You should not manually optimize the theme for mobile devices, sorry!

Thanks for the message!

So, I’m learning about child themes. I’ve read through this:

https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/

Either it’s very incomplete or I’m missing something.

All other tutorials I’ve read talk about create a stylesheet first:

https://www.smashingmagazine.com/2016/01/create-customize-wordpress-child-theme/
https://optimizerwp.com/wordpress-child-theme/

..Do I not need to create this stylesheet with Newspaper?

Can I use one of those child theme creator plugins?

Thanks

The post title should be your h1 title. Optimize it with your keyword. Any other heading inside the article can be h2, h3, h4 etc and you can also include your keyword. Use the Yoast SEO plugin to assist you to optimize your post for SEO (I don’t work here).

Hi Simion,

probably I’m not able to explain my self properly.
The thing is that when I activate the plugin I visualize nothing from mobile. The pages look to be empty.

I wish I could check how this plugin optimizes the mobile experience, but actually, the only thing I’ve seen so far is nothing.

So, the thing I was asking since the beginning was, is it normal? am I doing something wrong? ’cause to be honest I’m not satisfied with how some pages look on mobile and I would like to check how the plugin works, one of the reasons we got this theme too.

Meanwhile, I will try again.
Thanks

Hello aloysiuspattath,

Please notice that the speed of your website depends on how well your site is optimized.
-> https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?hl=ro&url=https%3A%2F%2Finsanertech.com%2F&tab=mobile

Notice that is not a simple task and if you do not have any experience in this regard you will do not bring good results for the theme. Also, notice that we have a speed optimization tutorial but this is addressed only to advanced users. So, if you follow the steps which are presented in this tutorial here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ you can increase the page speed loading and if you are not aware of the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because the speed optimization services are not covered by our support policy, as you can read here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/support-policy-2/ Check our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ regarding on dedicated server to fit our requirements.

Unfortunately, our theme does not have such an option to minify the style.css file and we cannot recommend any plugins with this functionality because is not tested with our theme. For minifying this file, we are using CloudFlare for our demo and works fine. If you want to read other views from our users, please check this topic -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tip-how-to-easily-minify-your-css-without-breaking-your-site/
Also, check all of your Ad Spots and if you have entered any suspicious code through them, remove all of them and check the results without them.

One of our top members here on the forum wrote his own optimization tutorial here:

The state of my system system is adequate (available) (green), it seems to me that this is not a problem, optimize everything as in the documentation.

They blame the wrongly optimized page, which is not true, the page has 94 points in the pingdom test and the home page opens below 1.5 seconds. I received information that the admin-ajax.php processes and the index.php file are to blame. Sometimes it happens that the groups open very quickly, but after a few hours the problem comes back. I am asking for a suggestion and, above all, thank you for your help so far.

Hi,

For me the website loads quite good, the homepage for example
https://www.screencast.com/t/NfxdBEJiO
Also a post – https://www.screencast.com/t/Gc2LJJPC6i
This is a nice loading speed in my view. The only issue I see is with a failed to load resource
https://www.screencast.com/t/OcnpT6a2Xig
Images could be optimized more to reduce page size, either as mentioned in the guide or maybe by some image optimization plugins.

Thanks

Hi,

That file is not supported to be modified in a child theme
https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/
It is a critical file of the theme. Best you do not modify it in any way (or make a backup if you do), or there could be problems. Try to optimize the website by other means, instead of removing code from the theme files.

Why exactly do you want to delete the blocks and modules files? You can use any block type you want in pages, only those will be loaded. If you want to optimize more, maybe try and use fewer block types with same modules
https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-blocks-modules/
Reduce the number of blocks with pagination as well.

Also check the theme requirementsr guide for a proper functionality
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/

Thanks

A pity this plugin does not work well with the theme!

Could you recommend some other service or plugin to optimize images that are compatible with the theme?

Thanks Simon C. for your answer.

I think I found the source of the problem. Autoptimize Plugin.

eaterphadmin
tagDiv Member

I tried autoptimize and tools.pingdom.com reports caching missing. I don’t know what happened my host was working fine earlier in the month and I choose them on a referral from a friend who’s site is heavy (size and scripts) and well visited. Same host, same plan, results on testing site are great, but that initial loading is weirdly slow.

aloysiuspattath
tagDiv Member

try this, disable w3 total cache and install autoptimize, Async JavaScript (works better with autoptimize). Exclude “wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery.js” and defer other java scripts. And also minify the CSS.

Hi! Can you tell me which content preloading is better when it comes to website loading speed?
Every module has: No preloading, Optimized preloading, Preload All. Which option does what and what are the benefits of enabling one of them? Thanks!
