Hello Gilson,
Please notice that the speed of your website depends on how well your site is optimized.
Notice that is not a simple task and if you do not have any experience in this regard you will do not bring good results for the theme. Also, notice that we have a speed optimization tutorial but this is addressed only to advanced users. So, if you follow the steps which are presented in this tutorial here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ you can increase the page speed loading and if you are not aware of the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because the speed optimization services are not covered by our support policy, as you can read here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/support-policy-2/ Check our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ regarding on dedicated server to fit our requirements.
Unfortunately, our theme does not have such an option to minify the style.css file and we cannot recommend any plugins with this functionality because is not tested with our theme. For minifying this file, we are using CloudFlare for our demo and works fine. If you want to read other views from our users, please check this topic -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tip-how-to-easily-minify-your-css-without-breaking-your-site/
Also, check all of your Ad Spots and if you have entered any suspicious code through them, remove all of them and check the results without them.
One of our top members here on the forum wrote his own optimization tutorial here:

Hi,
Can’t say what would be better here, with a multisite environment we have not made any testing unfortunately. Basically the theme requirements for most users would be these
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Make more tests to see what the issues are and focus on them. Check some online tips
– https://premium.wpmudev.org/forums/topic/speed-up-my-slow-multisite-network
– https://www.smashingmagazine.com/2017/06/better-faster-optimized-wordpress-websites/
Maybe some users which have multisites can share their experiences in the matter.
Thanks

Hi,
From what I can see one of the biggest issues is with the images. Somewhere in the website there are scaled images served to website visitors, check where are the images mentioned in the report used
– https://www.screencast.com/t/DmKbnSbjii
For example the first image mentioned there in the test results is used here
– https://www.screencast.com/t/oviMDHPmfn
That slide loads somewhat big images which would not be needed for such a small slider
– https://www.screencast.com/t/iUnYfCWnT4
Try to optimize the images served by the website and reduce the page size (homepage has 6.3MB for example). Check some guides
– https://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/best-wordpress-image-compression-plugins-compared/
Or try it as mentioned in our guide with a code filter (section 3)
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
Heh. Yeah. I think it makes some kinds of content problematic, as we are selling services, so on our news pages, we also try to upsell people reading the news to use our services, which has diminished ‘experience’ on AMP.
I prefer a highly optimized responsive experience to AMP.
However, again, sometimes trying to read some websites like Autoweek with 50 stupid things loading, there is 30 sec delay sometimes to see first image, even on fast connection. So, there being able to just read article, see one photo, and couple of text only ads, would be preferable.
Nobody is obligated to use it, however, for some types of content on mobile, it can be beneficial.
I don’t think making the entire web ‘amp first’ is a good idea, contrary to what Google things. They do not own the web.

Hey,
Please, the display of CSS styles make my website slow, any ideas of how I can solve this problem and make it fast!!
Thanks
a) check your setting in the main WordPress panel under ‘reading’ to make sure you don’t have ‘hide from search engines’ active
b) if using Yoast SEO (or other SEO plugin), make sure you don’t have a ‘post specific’ setting active to set page to ‘noindex’ *and* check to make sure you have your taxonomies checked ‘yes’ to be included in sitemap, otherwise they are marked noindex.
c) check the post does not have the setting in the post page from WP as ‘private’
d) check your htaccess file and robots txt files to ensure you don’t have any custom directives added to hide posts by URL, or ID
e) resave your permalinks; clear caching; optimize db
Theme does not control ‘hiding’ your posts/pages in any way.
Tags are not posts/pages, but only an index created from a post which has the tag added by you. You cannot edit the tag page, but you can delete it.
Typically the reason you might have tag pages set to no index is if you’re using a plugin like Yoast and have the setting in there to not add to site maps.
Similarly, this can also be controlled by separate site map plugin.
You can try disabling/removing Yoast SEO or other SEO plugin; delete any folder that the plugin created with redirects or similar.
Again — not managed by the theme; but by something *you* or your developer chose to do; so good to document this stuff when doing it, also make backups of your site before doing anything further.
Hope that helped, a little.
(I don’t work here.)

hi after disabling some features in wprocket it works, so can I know the which URI cause the problem so that I can exclude from combining
as features disabled are
1) combine CSS files
2) optimize CSS delivery
1 more problem is please solve it:-
I have Disqus plugin in my WordPress, its working fine, but in mobile view, the Disqus part is like there is no margin from the container, it extends to both sides not staying in the container as I added the code but not working kindly suggest me so that it align to container ie.
div#disqus_thread{
width: 100% !important;
padding-left: 15px !important;
padding-right: 15px !important;
}
Hi, this problem I have is probably not a big deal, but I think it’s a bit strange and would prefer if I could “clean up” whatever’s wrong.
If I google my site URL; boostatv.com, on spot 2 in the results I get a site with URL boostatv.com/page/2/ and title BoostATV.com | Optimize your ATV! – Part 2
The page looks just like my front page. The problem is that I cannot find this page on my list of pages, and I cannot remember ever making it either.
I did, however, make several “Homepages” early on, but I deleted all but one a long time ago.
Also, when I open my menu settings in WP and click “view all” under pages, I see two homepages:
Home: Boost ATV – Optimize your ATV!
and
Boost ATV – Optimize your ATV!
But again, I only see one homepage in my page-list. Any tips to why it’s like this? I’m aware it may not be theme-related, I just need to start somewhere to find what’s causing it. Thanks.
Hey It is ok know :
I have change my cache plugin :
deactivate W3 Total Cache
installe SG optimize (by siteground)
Regards
Hi,
You can read this topic https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/resources-slowing-down-my-site/ and I hope you will find there something to optimize your site.
Thank you.
I believe you are referring to the scroll on mobile, when using the menu, using the dental studio demo.
There could be some scrolling issues on mobile only, the scroll may not stop where it is supposed to. That is on our list and we will try to optimize it in the future. Sorry for the inconvenience.
That design is called a menu overlay in the theme, and there is a page template provided for it, like this example demo page
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_nature/news/
So you can select that template for the page you want

Hey TAGdiv!
We are experiencing an oddity on our Newspaper website.
On our desktop version, we are able to send comments. On our mobile theme (running on the optimized tagDiv Mobile Theme), we are unable to post any comments.
What we tried:
– Disabling caching
– Disabling any required fields
Do you have any solution for this matter?

Hi,
I believe by default that menu setting is set to no preloading. Indeed disabling it will improve performance.
You can test your website with online tools, try gtmetrix for example or Google insights and check the results and suggestions provided there. Optimize as many as possible, results should follow.
There are many topics here on the forum in terms of speed improvements and optimization. Some of them here for example
– https://www.infophilic.com/get-almost-100-pagespeed-newspaper-theme/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/score-100100-pagespeed-with-newspaper-wordpress-theme/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/newspaper-theme-speedify-your-website/

– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
Also the theme requirements guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
I figured out the reason for the 600+ queries. I have another site using the same theme and it is getting under 200 queries per post page with a pretty custom design.
It ended up being the mega menu. I have many sections and categories, the theme was preloading all the items in the menus which was probably close to 400 posts combined. That put a huge strain on mysql which used up all of our CPUs.
Disabling preloading of the mega menu solved it:
1. Go to ThemePanel
2. Header -> Main Menu
3. Make sure under “Mega Menu Preloader” it is set to the default “No Preloading” option. Mine was set to “Optimized Preloading”
I’m still sitting at 285 queries for the homepage. Much better than the 600+ it was at earlier so the website and the admin area isn’t painfully slow anymore. If anybody can let me know what I can do to further decrease the amount of queries that would be appreciated.
I deactivated LazyLoad from Jetpack and re-activated the theme’s one; there was no problem and everything worked fine with that.
I find out that Jetpack also has the option to “optimize images” that is use their CDN to resize the images and serve them compressed.
My homepage without jetpack CDN loads in about 3-4 seconds and weights more than 10 Mb. It use only Cloudflare. With Jatpack CDN on it takes the same amount of time but weight only 2,5 mb.
It was maybe jatpack the problem serving the cripted images? I have now deactivated it because in other forum is suggested to use Cloudflare instead.
My question is: is it possible to optimize imgs without using photoshop and jatpack CDN? It seems that smush and the theme itself, despite the thumbnails auto-generating system, cannot do the job. Even the “regenerate thumbnails” plugin fails at that: the page weights 10 mb even after cleared the cache.
Thansk for the support.
Border is set to 0 down below – https://www.screencast.com/t/PMuJVvNpx
Seems there is some code that disables the border for all those elements. Could be a plugin that adds these styles, can’t say where it is coming from exactly due to the autoptimize.
I would suggest that you deactivate all your plugins, leave only theme plugins active, check if the styles are still overridden.
I see.
We have not tested such a code so there is no solution we can provide officially. Autoptimize or w3tc are not tested with our theme so we did not run any tests or simulations in this regard. Unfortunately third party plugin implementation is not covered by the theme support so you will have to hire a freelancer to help out with the code needed. Thank you for understanding.
