Thanks Andrei. However, I managed a rather simple solution since mine was a case of NOT wanting to display ads on one page (vs. showing different ads on different pages as in your solution).

For others:

Wrap ad code in a div, and then add the following CSS:

body.page-id-*page ID number minus the asterisks* .*div class minus the asterisks* { display: none !important; }

No. All titles on home page should not be H1. a) they change continuously as news or article items and b) the H1 for a “page” should match the title tag in the META data — usually specific to that ONE page (e.g., the front page). Titles on front page would normally be h2 for section heads on page if desired, and h3 for news item titles. h2 for news titles and h3 for widgets also very common. But semantically, all they refer to is a level of importance or sizes relative to other content.

On posts the “title” is an H1 tag (do view source to see your actual content).

While HTML5 technically supports multiple H1 tags and mutliple <article></article> sections; for SEO there should be just *one* H1 tags on any page, post, index, archive, etc., which for Google guidelines should generally be the same thing as the <title></title> on that matching page.

I’ve been doing SEO for 20 years (21 come March 2016), so I do know a little about it and not just positing an opinion here 🙂

Another question please: One my site, when I click on the pages (or category pages) like Fashion, when the page loads at the top, how can I remove the headline of ‘Fashion’ or any other pages? as it is taking unnecessary space – I hope you understand what I mean?

Basically I don’t want the title of every pages to appear any more, how can I do that?

Hi. I have a follow up to this. I can see we can identify posts manually this way and hide the ads.

However, the ad code is still being run and served, it is just hidden by the CSS attribute. This seems like a very concerning situation with Google or other ad platforms. If they find they are serving ads and charging for impressions, but the ads are not displayed, we would definitely lose our account.

I am not sure CSS will work. We need a page or post template where the ad units are not inserted to begin with. Just like a “Simple page” that has the header and footer, but no ads inserted at all.

Or are there any other suggestions on how to do this correctly?

I don’t think we are on the same page.

Background image is to get the site boxed. Your theme is going on to a second media site in a month and if I don’t solve it have to use another.

So to repeat myself, background images cannot be used. Why?

Advert tags are used. Why?
Geo targeting, impression control & reporting.

Multiple background click ads = not possible.

For now I have set it global to display:none so it’s fine. No worries there I have solved it and will get someone/contractor to add it in via php/background file as css can be applied or a class via php based on category and the category a post is in. I just don’t think you are understanding what I am requesting.

You could try this css in theme panel > custom code > custom css to enlarge the imagee id it’s smaller then the thumb, but this could affect the image quality:

I hope you didn’t give up – I bought the theme two years ago – panicked – got a refund.

Then bought it again!

But I had always loved it from afar you see -I researched and researched while using my other theme -and with GoDaddy I had a ‘staging environment’ it’s a simple clone of your site where you can play with changes – I changed the theme there and found it actually is easy to do a simple set up. Then copied it back to live. All easy is you relax and research. I still don;t know much and plan to improve the rest of the capabilities as time goes on.

The customs CSS study isn’t necessary yet – but you’ll soon see it’s just a copy/paste thing if you do take any customisation ideas from the forum. The theme is as advanced as you want it to be – but it makes your site fly in loads of ways.

Generally you should not post license codes or receipt numbers here, as everybody can see them.

I think they will be announcing some kind of “how support will work” once the initial 6 month thing runs out that Envato/ThemeForest enacted recently.

I have the same question.

My thought with my multiple licenses, was pay for additional support for *one* item, which gives me the downloads for the other ones that expire. 🙂
