Multiple PHP Errors every few seconds - reply

Hi,

Thanks for helping with this 🙂

So I have rolled the Molongui plugin back to a previous version but now the errors are reporting issues with TD composer and various other plugins.

We started using the mobile Theme a few days ago, because the Adsense ads in the body of the articles were not visible (yes on desktop but not on mobile)

Hello, I’m trying to use recaptcha v3, but it doesn’t work. I assume there is some kind of error in theme code, but I do not know where exactly. The keys have been tested on the custom form with WPforms plugin and it works fine.

Only the form doesn’t work is Leads with email fields. I tried disabling the caching plugin, but it didn’t help. Getting error – “CAPTCHA verification failed!”. I tried to increase the user rating even to 1 from 0.5 but again an error – “CAPTCHA user score failed. Please contact us!”.

And I have another simple question – how can I change the page after logging in? f.e. from /my-account/ to /my-account/?account_details?. I can do it with redirect but it’s not very good i think.

Hi,

I have two problems with the header ad:
– The menu is going under the ad;
– Even if I disable the ad from the theme panel (no G ads code AND toggle the hide switches) the ad is still there. Complete cache delete from WP Rocket and Cloudflare doesn’t work either. The ads keep showing on other PC’s also, so it is not a browser cache problem.
– Also, I disabled ALL the ads and the ads keep showing (sidebar, article top etc.)

Hi Anamaria,
the site is has stopped updating since March 01, 2023. Even the date on top reads March 1, 2023. If I open the site from within the CMS it displays normally otherwise it displays March 1 homepage. I cleared cache and refreshed dozens of times, nothing!
I checked the offset box; it is blank already.

This link states that Anchor & Vignette Ads are not supported on AMP pages, but in Google AdSense Help Sistem is claimed otherwise.

The button is working but not as intended. Let me explain.

Suppose you have a page on your website that is not amp-enabled.
For example domain[dot]com/category/news/

If you add ?amp=1 at the end of this url(../news/?amp=1), it will still redirect you to ../news/

It’s because the amp version for that page does not exist. That’s an ideal behavious. No problem.

Now if a page is amp-enabled (for example, an article page), it creates problems. If you load an amp page on your system, you’ll notice that all the internal links on that page add ?amp=1 at the end of every url. For example, the author link, tags, categories links, other related articles, etc. (Even the exit mobile button link)

Now, if you click the author link or tags link or whatever link(on the amp page) that has no amp version, it will automatically remove the ?amp=1 from the end of url

Examples:-
domain[dot]com/author/bettina/?amp=1 will redirect to ../author/bettina/
domain[dot]com/tag/wordpress-theme/?amp=1 will redirect to ../tag/wordpress-theme/

Nothing against this behaviour because this is exactly how it should be.

But what if the exit mobile version button also has /?amp=1 at the end url (as I mentioned above). Then it becomes an issue.

This is the amp article url —> domain[dot]com/this-is-an-article/?amp=1

The exit mobile version button add this at the end of url: /?noamp=mobile. But the problem is it also adds &amp=1 after that.

Now clicking this button will redirect user to domain[dot]com/this-is-an-article/?noamp=mobile&amp=1

This behavious again loads the amp-version of the article because the url has &amp=1 at the end. The ?noamp=mobile alone would have redirected the visitor to non-amp version, but this is not the case.

This creates an endless loop and the visitor never gets to see the non-amp version.

Can it be resolved? You can ask again if I confused you.

As you can see from the screens, the desktop theme has been modified for mobile but as you can see mobile loads another theme that I don’t know where it comes from. In fact, as soon as I enter the site on mobile, it shows how I created it, but then after accepting the cookies and then the subsequent page refresh, I see that mobile theme that I don’t know where it came from since, as you can see, the same desktop theme is also for mobile. So tell me the procedure to adopt to use the desktop theme also for mobile based on my problem. Thank you.

ADS and image loop problem - topic

I’ve been having several problems with Newpaper lately. Some of them are quite serious.
One such problem is related to Google Adsense advertisements. If I copy the adsense code and paste it inside the “single template”, inside the ads section”, when I click on save the code it disappears. In a nutshell it doesn’t register any ads code.

Another problem: at the moment the categories are paginated so at the end of the page starts page 2,3,4,5, etc. If I set on load scrolling I always see the first ten news items on the first page. In short, it continuously duplicates the content of the first page.

I hope for an answer that solves the problem. Not a useless answer like the one written to me for the 404s (https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/404-issues-from-the-theme/), remembering that like everyone who writes here they “pay” and it’s not a free service.

hi, it loads at times and it does not load at times or takes a lot of time to load. Check it out Microsoft Edge browser.

As said it could be a problem with WP-Rocket plugin, but, we have the same plugin in our other website motorbridge.com with newspaper theme and same settings, there with Wp-Rocket turned on auto load is working.

Hello Bettina!

We have many authors who write articles on our blog. We have designed a page like this one that shows all the articles of these authors inside some of our articles or on some pages we deem appropriate. We want this page to be generic, so we didn’t design separate pages for each author.

As you will see here, here and here, we want to call this page by passing a parameter to the Author Id field in the components of our generic page.

We don’t know if there is any other way to do this. For example, if we copy an Author Template from Cloud Templates, we don’t know if we can pass parameters to this page.

How would you recommend us to do this?

Slow Site Speed After First Activation - topic

Hi team,

I just purchased and installed the theme but it loads very slow. It cannot load at the first try and I have to refresh. And it take around 1 minute to load after the refresh.

I tried to change to another theme and the speed was fast. It seems to be an issue with this theme.

Please advise how to fix it.

Check in your Google Adsense account to see if there could be any settings to display them there. Generate another code and see if it works. Maybe you should use In-article ads or
In-feed ads.

This is a fresh installation and I haven’t touched any of the code or installed any plugins other than TagDiv plugins. If possible, we can have a Skype/Zoom call so that I can share my screen and show you the issue.

Please install the pre-built website “Tech News PRO,” create a new post, and view it in the browser to see the issue.

Anyone who reads this forum can try this, and they will likely face the same issue.

Newpaper overwhelms CPU & Processes - topic

I’ve read a few threads about this, but couldn’t seem to find a resolution.

Running the latest versions of WP and Newspaper.

My site started ramping up the number of processes every time the home page loaded, so much so that I got a nasty-gram form my hosting providing telling me to cool it…or else!

I went through everything I could think of – optimizing databases, caching, etc. and the issue just never went away.
I run a low-traffic site so i could not figure this problem out.

I discovered today that it looks like Newsmag template is causing the issue. When i swap templates – zippy skippy. When i put Newspaper back on, no joy. Testing this a bunch of different ways and always the same result.

I have since found some older posts regarding this issue, but I couldn’t seem to find anywhere that the issue had been resolved.

My site is functionally unusable with the Newspaper theme, so if there is no fix, i’d appreciate any advice on similar styled templates.

TagDiv – i did send you an email at your contacts@ email address with additional info in case you can take a look at my site and see if there is anything that can be done to salvage the speed. I looked a long time to find the perfect template for what I wanted, and would have to have to bail on it and rebuilt with another template if this is salvageable.

Images Are Not Uploading Or Being Applied - topic

First-time Newspaper theme user for WordPress. Loving the customizer and theme panel settings so far, but I’m running into a problem with regards to setting/uploading the logo, favicon or other images.
Whenever I select an image to be placed in any of these places through the theme panel or through the composer, they don’t show up. The preview remains empty. I’ve tried to use images that have the exact recommended sizes as well as other sizes.
When I load a template header (e.g. Romania News Pro) the default logo of the template loads, but the image can’t be changed.

The same goes for an image block. When trying to load a static image into them, the image isn’t loaded.

Additional information:
– WordPress 6.1.1
– Tried with Newspaper 12.0 and 12.2
– Running on a local Docker instance for local development. I made a copy of our live website that has several hundred posts already and I’m tasked with applying a new theme on it. So it contains a whole library of images already. All of them work and load through the default WordPress media library.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Let me know if there’s a log file of some sorts that can be retrieved.
