Updating the theme would have no effect on the website favicon. Check if the favicon you want is uploaded in the theme panel

Test to see if that image still exists in the uploads folder. It should be displayed in this case. In some cases I have seen, the hosting provider has set a different favicon which replaced the one the user sets. Other than that I can’t think of a possible issue. If you can provide a link to your website I will take a look.

1. Now that is unusual. If you could mention all the details I will try to recreate the issue, mention how you are creating this link exactly, also does it happen in all posts.

There seems to be no problem. Maybe something is affecting the icon in your case. A line height or margin. I could take a look at it if you can provide a link to your website.

All those images seem to be the default images used in the theme demo ads. Remove them from the theme panel ads section and the will not appear as mixed content anymore. There are online guides you can check when moving to a new domain

I see no problem with the ads on your website. Where exactly you want to show of that size?
Note that in the header the space reserved for the ad when using that header style is 728px. Other header styles do not have such limits, the ones that do not display the logo and ad in the same line

In pages an ad of that size could be placed on a page in a full row only. The theme width is 1068px so that ad will display in it’s full size

In the post content to display such a big ad you would have to use no sidebar, so there is enough space available.

That is also a somehow large ad size for Adsense however, the top performing ad sizes would be these

The website you provided does not use the Newspaper theme fully from what I can see at the moment. On posts the theme applies partly, the homepage seems to be built with a different builder.
There are also issues with the usability of the website and loading. The menu cannot be used properly, the post pages are broken

But you could try to find what exactly is causing this problem. Start by deactivating all plugins if possible as a quick test, leave only theme plugins active. Clear the cache and check if this has any effect.
Check code entered in theme panel, theme files and child theme. Something is creating this conflict.

Regarding the thumbnails, maybe you are not using big enough featured images.

1. Those will not link anywhere in their initial demo state. That location is the footer menu, you can create a menu of your choosing and set it

Unfortunately, but our theme does not have any such an option that allows you to hide ads for specific user groups/roles, sorry! You should do it yourself through the code and add such a custom Code which hide these. If you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this case, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom services at the moment, sorry! Another alternative for you would be to find such a plugin with this functionality and check the results.
