Also, I’m confused. It says I can add a cloud template. But everytime I do that, I only get the option to create a page. Not add it to what I already have on the home page.
Hi, I generally had disabled Previous/Next post options for whole my Newspaper web, but on specific category I want to have such option – to allow visitors to continue reading story from one post to another one.
I guess there is no way how to set up such behavior via Newspaper theme panel so I have created Cloud Template Type “single” for these posts and in this template I added element “Single Post Next Prev“. BUT there is almost no customization options for element, only Color and CSS. And of course on post page it works the wrong way – it shows next/prev posts regardless category.
So my question is: how can I setup Previous/Next post feature in the same Category? I would accept even necessity of Child theme where will be modification for function get_previous_post $in_same_term = false=>true, but I don’t know, how exactly element “Single Post Next Prev“ uses this basic WP function and what precisely should be in functions.php
Also, I used the News Magazine demo to create the page.
When I went to the cloud library, I couldn’t find any News Magazine headers and templates.
Any ideas?
We have a website where the category index does not display the category information.
Debugging the code I was able to find that in td_category_template, $current_category_obj is null.

The tagDiv Composer is a builder for pages and templates only, not for post, only for post templates, so if you want you can use it on a single post template from tagDiv Cloud Library.

1. This can be don by setting a background image or color in theme panel -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/background-introduction/ but if you are using a pro demo or cloud elements, then you’ll need to exit these too with tagDiv Composer.
2. These files was moved in standard pack -> wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/parts/header/td_top_bar_template_1.php

Unfortunately yes, even tough WP bakery is a tested plugin I personally wouldn’t recommend using it. Since tagDiv Composer was created as our own page builder the developers are working on developing this plugin.
The lines you see are shortcodes that are being rendered only by the tagDiv Composer which is also a MUST HAVE plugin in order to run Newspaper Theme correctly.
You can use wp bakery on a page / post where there are NO tagDiv composer elements.
In order to make the site full width you have to select every row of your page using the tagDiv Composer and then set the stretch mode you want like here : https://www.screencast.com/t/BkWwdHh6
In order to make the post page full width you will have to add a single post template and then edit it. Check more about how to have single post template here: https://tagdiv.com/customize-articles-with-single-post-templates/ And for the header you can do it here: https://www.screencast.com/t/xf56tQN0.
These are the ways you can increase your page width from theme options. Anything above this will require custom code.
If you are using a background color / image this will cause the boxed layout.

Hi I had as a theme before changing the default theme and now the client asked me to modify it with “Racing Mag” and I customized everything and it works great. I have a small problem, setting the theme to be used on articles, some articles take it, other articles don’t take it and show the default theme. I tried to change it don tagdim and it gives me an error “Please select tagDiv Builder Template from the theme panel or set a default template. How can I set the same theme on these pages and articles? THANKS

I have made one change to the home page template, I copied an existing area and pasted it under another section and its broken the page again. I am unable to edit the page as i am back to the spinning wheel.
Surely there has to be an issue here, the template should not break with something so simple and I cannot rebuild the entire home page again?

My front page is set as default template hence the title doesn’t show. However there is no H1 title for that page! If I set this to Page Builder + Page Title the title shows however it is not centralised! Therefor, I created a title H1 in the page builder but now it shows I have duplicate H1 title tags. Is there a way to either show the Page Builder + Page Title centralised for that post or not have it show as duplicate Hz?

Thanks for the info about the files. If we choose a cloud template for showing single page posts the template file is not found in:
wp-content\plugins\td-standard-pack\Newspaper\parts\single\
But all the others are there, thank you!
Then you can copy loop-single-9.php to your child theme and things should roll.
Anyway, we implemented a custom short-code which can be placed anywhere through the template editor in a column block.

I’m new with the Newspaper theme, and I’m not enjoying the experience so far. I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong but I’m a little disappointed.
For instance, I can’t drag and drog elements to position it correctly.
I tried to include a search box into 404 page, and I gave up. I couldn’t position the box where I wanted.
I’ve realized that some elements are inner rows inside a row. When I try to mimic this, it simply does not allow me.
Maybe I’ve misunderstood how Theme Panel works. I thought I could set colors on Theme Colors, for instance, and all colors would change. But it was not what happened. (same for fonts)
Can you enlighten me where I am going wrong?

When using the js Smart Lists 1 on the default template, there’s a problem with my permalink structure. I currently have this one:

where 40691 is the post id. When clicking on the next button, the current slide id gets appended at the end of the permalink but removing my post id as follows:

Hello, yes i use WP Rocket to minify my JS files. In 9.8 it worked with the SAME settings, but in 10.1, WP Rocket creates for every page a minifiyed JS File because 3 Parts are diffrent on every site. I linked it in the last posts.
And i know WP Rocket is not a tested Plugin from you. I dont want that you help me support with wp rocket. WP Rocket works fine, but it creates a JS File for every page, because something in the template loads on everypage a diffrent JS.
I want to know what I did wrong when I created the template that the part on the three images on each page is different.

i’m building a custom template for the smart list post (cloud templates), but when i go editing the “Single Post Smartlist” component in the tagdiv composer, it doesn’t provide the option to display the smartlist as a slider (via js). In particular, i’d like to have my post pages as slides as seen on the “Smart List 1 and Smaret List 3” templates used on the default post edit page panel.
