I understand the advantage of using templates for theme updates, but I am not quite sure about the disadvantages.
1) How can I create a template from a page that I have created? Not coming from a pre-designd template.
2) The advantage of custom CSS in a child theme is that I can adjust, for example colors or fonts for all uses on the website. So, when I edit colors/fonts in my saved custom page template, will that also be shown on all pages that use that template?

Every time I try to load one of the TagDiv librray, it highlights the import button like I clicked it…. but does not exit. Then when I click the exit button, it shows an accept the layout below but leaves before I can click it. This is in Chrome, and I also tried Internet explorer. Any help?

Hi,
I have created a cloud template on my website to create ‘profiles’ for football players. On top of the page there is a general section with some basic information, including a player foto. The photos are uploaded on our server and each foto or player has a ‘unique id’ (for example: https://fminside.net/images/news/DF11/19024412.png)
Instead of uploading each photo to a profile separately, I would like to use a custom field to have it automatically post the correct image in the profiles by filling in the ID of the player in that field when creating a new post. The ID that I put into the custom field needs to be added to an URL, which matches our database with pictures.

I tried to use a raw html component using:

But that did not do the trick.
1. How can I make the field display inside the posts?
2. Is it even possible to use a custom field like this?
3. Is there any other code I need to alter to have this displayed?

In order to make the site full width you have to select every row of your page using the tagDiv Composer and then set the stretch mode you want like here : https://www.screencast.com/t/BkWwdHh6
In order to make the post page full width you will have to add a single post template and then edit it. Check more about how to have single post template here: https://tagdiv.com/customize-articles-with-single-post-templates/ And for the header you can do it here: https://www.screencast.com/t/xf56tQN0.
These are the ways you can increase your page width from theme options. Anything above this will require custom code.
If you are using a background color / image this will cause the boxed layout.

If you want to have more control over the header you can import a header template from tagDiv Cloud Library and edit it with tagDiv Composer after your needs, after that set the header individual ( on each page/category/post..) or global -> https://prnt.sc/owlzzh

First you’ll need to check to see if you are using a default post style ( only on those will apply the ads settings from theme panel) or is a single post template from tagDiv Cloud Library. So if you want to change the elements/widgets from sidebar you’ll need to go in Appearance> Widgets and add there in the sidebar -> http://prntscr.com/oh9kun and make sure that you set on post and category that sidebar, this is one method, or you can use tagDiv Composer and tagDiv Cloud Library, get a post/category template from cloud and edit it with tagDiv Composer.

Please notice that the tagDiv Composer is a builder for pages and templates only, not for post, only for post templates, so if you want you can use it on a single post template from tagDiv Cloud Library .

I think that you are referring to the category page template , if is so then you can change it from theme panel > categories -> http://prntscr.com/pb4k0c or you can use a category template from tagDiv Cloud template and edit it with tagDiv Composer do achieve what you need.

Please note that we have not tested the WP Pro Advertising plugin. If you want you can add single post templates from the cloud library and edit it using the tagDiv Composer. For the ads you could you use an adBox.

Yes I use a template from Cloud and I believe I’ve got something wrong on my header as it adds almost 1M of html when I compare http://www.welovetennis.fr and www2.welovetennis.fr for adding just 2 logos… I must have something in there. I’ll just recreate a header from scratch (I had based myself on Template 3 header of Cloud lib, I’ll try starting from blank template this time)
I didn’t see them in search console… yet…
But I could see yahoo, bing and google crawling them. And that yes is not good.
On a 150k pages website this is not helping us (and having wget doing the same is really not a good sign)
This is how I wasted a few hours.
I added this function in prod then put a tail -f on logs to check all was good
Then I spotted those broken url and thought my function was somehow responsable.
Then been hunting for couple hours checking all links. seeing wget -r was doing the same as the crawlers convinced me of investigating further.

and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps.

This can be a plugin conflict or some custom code set in page/template.
Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate all non theme plugins, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, please deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

You will have to import a single post template from the cloud library. Only the Cloud Library templates and demo are fully editable with tagDiv Composer.

If you are using the a header template from tagDiv Cloud Library with the Header Manager then you can set that template in Theme panel as global for your website -> http://prntscr.com/orgl6n ( this will be apply on all post/pages/categories … that do not have set an individual header ).
If you build a new header template, then yes the mobile header will be empty, but if you import some header templates, this will be set for mobile deceive too.

We are also using custom category and post templates from cloud library, do we also have to update the headers on each one of them? Because updating the header on homepages doesnt have any affect on the category pages’ headers

There is no need to use the tagDiv Composer to have that pagination, all you need to do is to set the page template on Page Builder + Latest Articles + Pagination.

Please note that we do not recommend using 2 page builders on the same page. Also by working with WP bakery on cloud templates may cause issues and conflicts.
Also using wp-bakery on tagdiv built templates will cause issues. We recommend using tagDiv Composer.
