I’m working to use the new page template feature. I need to be able to insert shortcodes into the sidebar to activate certain widgets. I don’t see a way to do this. Further, when I use the “Widget Sidebar” feature, it strips out features inside by widget panel that use shortcodes.
On one of my sites I use Insert Pages WordPress plugin extensively. Basically, this plugin enables me to display the whole content of another post in a post using a shortcode in the post editor. (I have to display a lot of reusable content on the site.)
The plugin works seamlessly using the Newspaper theme, BUT only in the default single-post templates. If I try to use a single-post cloud template with the plugin, it does not display the content of the post, it just skips the shortcode (displays only the current post).
The problem seems to be that the single post content element in the single-post cloud template renders things differently than the default single-post template.
Any ideas how this problem can be solved?

So if I’m right you want the width to be 100% from the device size, if so then the simplest way to get it full width everywhere is to create or import full width templates from the cloud library plugin. There is no one single button push. You have to import a post style and set it as the default post template in the theme panel post settings, then you need to import a category template that is full width and set that one as the default category template. The same for tags, author pages etc:

Maybe I was not clear enough, lets try again.
If you want to have a global header you’ll need to set it in theme panel -> https://www.screencast.com/t/bZYGcjg7KRD and all pages/categories/posts that do not have set an individual header will have that header set.
For individual header you’ll need to edit that page/post template/category template… and set in it the header that you want, and on this posts/categories templates or page will be set that header ( the individual will override the global header for that post/page ).
So in order to use it on post, or you set a global header our you use a single post template from tagdiv Cloud Library and set on it a header after that you set the template on posts.

Thanks very much for the answer to 1). I had missed that part.
However re 2) I do have it set to Global Header so this wasn’t helpful.
I think maybe you misunderstand the problem. The problem is that every single page and post needs 160px added to the top because the content is sitting under the new header. This didn’t happen with the default header, but when I’ve used one of your templates that’s what happened.
I can send you a screen shot, or can you advise how to attach?

2. In order to have a different her on homepage, you’ll need to edit the homepage with tagDiv Composer and set on it the the header, then that header will apply only on homepage, in order to set a header to be global you’ll need to set it in theme panel -> https://www.screencast.com/t/Icz7qbxsq and this will apply on all pages/templates that do not have set a individual header.

Hi team,
New header manager is great – but I’m having trouble using parts of it, as below:
1) The header logo element is not picking up the URL I use to link the media. It only uses the default logo. I;ve tried deleting the default logo and then it shows no logo. I want different logos on the main header as opposed to sticky header but this element doesn’t seem to work properly.
2) When I use one of your Cloud headers, my posts and pages don’t seem to notice it;s there and and all the page content sits up under the header. I’ve had to go an add 160px empty space to the top of my category templates, but whenI realised this is site wide – I thought this can’t be reasonable. Why are all my pages and posts not recognising the new header? Make sense?

There is a h1 tag on the logo already .if you add a h1 tag to your page you will have two h1 tags. https://www.screencast.com/t/9zzijCcyjh
The solution is to use a pagebuilder + page title (page template) which will not show the h1 on the logo but show the page title instead so you can remove your h1 title from the page.

Unfortunately our theme do not have an option to can edit the header of footer for AMP post/page, if you want to do that you’ll need to do it in amp plugin files, I think that you do that before, and after updated the fails was override.

So I have made a menu from one of the templates in the cloud library which I’m happy with.
But when I scroll the page, the menu defaults back to the original template version.

If you are using a page as footer you’ll need to set in that page the sub-footer ( you need to build it with tagDiv Composer at the bottom of the page that you build for footer ), the sub-footer from theme panel is apply only on the defaults templates.

I have just decided to switch to your theme for my second site as well so I bought a second license. I have Elementor pages that work fine. However, when I activate my Elementor Pro header I get this error below the footer of each page. How can this be fixed?
Second question, how can I remove the page title from the left corner of each page?

I will include some links below to show the issues I’m having. At the moment I only have one Page for my site, the homepage. I am using the “Default Template” for this page, and I’ve customized the layout myself using the page builder.
On all of my posts, at the end of the post content, I am seeing a whole bunch of things that shouldn’t be there. My instagram feed, my featured articles from my homepage, my About Me, Categories, etc. Basically everything I designed for the homepage is showing up on my posts. I am using Post Template #7 for the appearance/layout of the post. Is that causing the issue?
I am also having the same problem with the Category pages. My entire homepage layout is appearing below the standard category layout. I cannot find a place to change the layout settings for posts and categories to resolve this issue.

I hired a web designer to redesign my blog. She is trying to design the Post page, but when she tries to edit the default post template, she receives this restriction message: “Please select tagDiv Builder Template from the theme panel or set a default template. The current page/post uses a template that is not editable.”
She has set a default template from the theme panel, but she still gets the restriction message. She installed the theme on a test server, and she doesn’t have the theme registration key. Can you please advise what to do in this situation.

I was wondering if I’m able to share my license key to my web designer so that both of us can have access to the theme. I recall it said that the license key could be used on up to three devices at the same time. Just want to confirm that.
Any idea when the header builder will be fixed? I was testing it out on my newspaper theme powered site and as soon as I imported a header template and tried to add something to it (I didn’t even save it in TD composer) it would make the page I placed it on not render and would just timeout. The way I fixed the issue so I could load my original header (not the one from the cloud library header manager) was to remove the “tdc_header_template_id” custom field value from the page in the wp backend and then update the page there. It then reverts back to load the page on the front-end fine but with my site’s original (non header manager built) header.
Yes, I know I can download, edit and create templates.
However, I still need the sidebar because I am including it in all my posts. I am not using the tagDiv PageBuilder for my posts because there are several 100 of them on my side. So I only use the regular editor and always have the same sidebar.
Bascially my question is: How do I create new widgets? Maybe from downloaded or edited templates? How do I get from a page template to a widget that can easily be included in a sidebar?

I’ve created a template for certain Pages and tried to save it (so I can quickly apply the look&feel on several other pages).
But everytime I save it, it saves as a Page, not as a Template.
What am I doing wrong? Can you help?

I failed to see that the category pages use the same cloud template. A solution would be to create copies of the cloud template and use different widget sidebars for each one, but that may take a while if there are many categories.

With CSS it may require a lot of cases, depending on what you want to do exactly. There could be conditions created, for example if not category lifestyle hide the second image widget in the sidebar. So that second image widget will show on the intended category page

If I work like that, I can add new, the library shows all options.
(though there is no seperate header tab, I’m unsure if there is one so…).
The tagdiv composer then allows me to alter that page, but it shows a header and footer.

Please not that our demos are build with tagDiv Composer, also some of them like iGossip, Gaming need tagDiv Cloud Library , so in order to make them to work you’ll need to have tagDiv Composer activate, also if the demo use cloud templates you need to have tagDiv Cloud library activate too;
