I want to create a custom template with a different header that will not contain an ad. How can I do it? Making a copy of the page.php file and renaming it doesn’t work – it doesn’t appear in templates.
I think I found it. I made a sidebar for my page template. Placed that where I want it, which is under the content column, and then added a short code to make the calender work.

I’m using Default Post Template Style 1 on my site.
I would like to show the AD Block (Post template style 1) on the right side of the page in stead of the left side (where it shows up by default). And I would like the featured image to show up on the right side of the page (where the ad currently shows up). How can I do that? which files do I need to modify?
Also, I wanna make sure that both the ad block and the featured image fits right next to each other. The ad size I’m currently using is 300×250. What should be the max size of the featured image so that both fit next to each other?
I tried showing up the featured image and the regular image in the image and in both cases I can’t make the ad block to show up in the right side.
Any help with this regards would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for responding! I already found the guide that you linked and unfortunately, I found the information there to not be enough, so I have some questions.
1. It says that the Front Page has “comes with a single predefined page template”. Is there a way then to create templates for other pages?
2. If not, then does it mean for other pages only text and images can be on other pages? So let’s say I want to feature all posts under the same category on a page, that’s not possible?

Unfortunately the theme does not have such a feature. If the link leads to the category page, the category templates will not show a list of your sub-categories. The category template uses a loop to show posts, not a list of categories. Sorry. You can maybe redirect your category page to a standard static page where you can create a list of your sub-categories.

I suppose that you are talking about the Latest Articles Modules which is displayed at the top of the page, right? If you want to remove this, notice that you simply switch the page template with another one from the backend. I decided to install the Mobile Theme plugin since without it, my website takes a long time to fully load on a mobile device. However, only the homepage seems to have the “predefined page template”. How do I do that for my other pages?

Here is talking about Page title template which displays the title page for each page. If you want to get rid of it, you should simply change the page template.

I believe that the problem appeared after the update WPBakery Visual Composer separately from the template.
If I delete the plugin, and then install it from the template (as written in the instructions here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/), it will not destroy this previously created entries and pages?

I did exactly as you directed and seeing the Muktavaani font in the inspect panel, but the font on the front page is not that!

This is a mobile screenshot from the new WordPress site, with Newspaper template. Here the font doesn’t have the default Gujarati web-font so body text of the post is blank. In the title and subtitle, I have selected Hind-Vadodara, the Google Custom font that is visible in the list without any upload. They are rendered properly.
My assumption is, for some reason, the template is using the default Gujarati web-font, even if we select MuktaVaani font. It is overriding the font we upload and then choose.
Please see if you can find the reason! I am sorry for keeping you occupied and thanks indeed for all your support!

Posts cannot be edited with the page builder. It is only destined for pages. Posts were never intended to be edited with any page builder in our theme.

Now the new page builder does not have an option to be activated on posts as it was never it’s purpose. You an create beautiful posts in our theme without the use of any page builder:

I noticed that whenever I hover over any featured image on the homepage of Art Creek template – https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_art_creek/ , it displays a special 3D effect, which looks awesome.
But, I don’t see this effect, when I view the same post/homepage using any mobile devices. Does it work only on desktop or is there some issue only with me?
Also, can I use this effect on any other template with the help of customization? If yes, can you instruct with the customization?

I have been using Newspaper theme for almost a year.
We have using customised look of the default template of Newspaper till now, but the recent release of a few new themes caught my attention. SO, I am all set to change the look of our site.
But here is the issue.
I love the homepage look of Art Creek template: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_art_creek/ . It’s awesome. but I want to have the header like the Voice report template: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_voice/.
Apart from this, I also love the ‘cut edge design of images under the Voice report template. Have a look here: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_voice/td-post-authorities-seeking-expanded-education-for-incarcerated-youth/ , you will notice that the each image under the post has round-cut-corner. It is template specific feature. Right?
Please help me how can I do this? I am ready to do all the customization required if someone can guide me for this.
Also, what are the things that I should take care while changing the template of the site? Do we need to regenerate all the images? Will this regeneration process kill all the ‘compression’ that we have done previously with premium image compressions like WPSmush or shortpixel?

I believe you are referring to the Latest articles section of the page. This section is always displayed on the bottom of the page (after your content) and cannot be edited with the page builder

Hi thanks for the reply. I tried adrotate but it does not seem to work, possibly because I imputed the adsense code in the newspaper template boxes.
Not sure how to start a page with no ads or header.
Yes, it seems Google thinks one of our pages is sensitive for some reason so we need to disable ads on that particular url.
Is there any way we can do it on the newspaper template?

I have a video page where all posts are videos, and i use the “Style 11” template for all video-posts because it includes a great “Related Posts” / Video-belt underneath the actual video-post.
But, when a user is browsing through “Related Posts” and clicks on the arrow-icon / “more videos”, and chooses a video, the whole page refreshes and the “Related posts” jumps back to start.

The user wants the related posts to be where they left it, and only load the main-content when they click a new video.
Is this something that can be solved easily by changing settings in the theme somewhere? or?
Theme doesn’t control that. That is part of WordPress core.
However, Google can ‘index’ parts of your internal structure if you change themes as temporarily there is no ‘theme’ in place to serve pages; which is why one normally uses a “maintenance” plugin to put in place while changing things.
Might not be your issue; but theme does not control submission of anything to Google or include raw paths to open folders.
However, if an element is loaded from a sub-folder via a plugin, that folder is obviously being read to load the content inside of it when the page is rendered — meaning Google knows that folder exists since the path is used in your post/page in some way, such as loading the template for a slider.
If not using revolution slider, you should disable that.

You should not use any p[age builder to build posts. Use only the tiny mce editor like so:

If ypou want to use opur own page builder, please disable the visual composer plugin and re-create any pages built with it and remove any visual composer shortcodes from your posts.
