I have a VPS.
I installed on VPS test domain and copied the entire page with all the data to test WordPress domain.
I installed Newspaper.
I configured Newspaper. Everything works without a problem.
I am now ready to export Newspaper.
Just copy the files Newspaper via FTP and install the template in the panel?
All settings Newspaper will be moved after import (export Newspaper done to txt)
I need to export data to MySQL database tables?

Thanks for the reply. That wasn’t my issue . I’m using category template 4 and have no issue with the sibling categories appearing. What I meant was that, Is it possible for subcategory/sub sub category tags to appear instead of sibling category tags on top of template 4
My category structure is
category–sub category– sub sub category
Region—-Africa—– Ghana,Nigeria….
Region—- Asia —–China,India….
Region—-Europe —–UK,France….
On category page (Region)— The sub category tags Africa,Asia, Europe….etc appears at the top http://somethingpoppedup.com/category/regions/
But on Subcategory page(eg Asia)—- instead of sub sub category tags like China,India…etc whats appearing are sibling tags like Asia,Africa,Europe… etc http://somethingpoppedup.com/category/regions/asia/
Is it possible that when a sub-category page is chosen ,instead of sibling tags at the top we have Tags of Sub-sub-categories on the page.
In simple terms is it possible that when Asia sub-category page is chosen ,instead of sibling tags Africa,Asia Europe …etc at the top we have Tags of China, India… etc on the Asia page.

I want to insert a paper.li widget or iframe in home page. This should be through HTML code from paper.li (or maybe javascript) bit although the template have the possibility to insert html code, this don’t work. In paper.li tips suggest to install a plugin Advanced iframe.

As for the white space reduction try this code, enter it in Theme panel->Custom Css

Hi,
At lower browser width the page background does not display as it does with a larger display. If the browser is scaled to say 80% the background does display and I think it looks better. Is there a method to have the template display more narrow so the background display without messing up the design / scalability of the template?

Q1->Unfortunatly, please keep in mind that the post template is not available in custom post type because this is CUSTOM and in this type of post which you have made custom, you do not have available this option, sorry! You should do it yourself.

Q6->Please keep in mind that the mobile theme uses is too different by desktop version mode. Please notice that this post template uses a video as featured video and also, at the top of this post page will be displayed this video. I guess that you want that in this place to have a video playlist, right? Notice that this type of post template has not been designed to display a playlist video as featured video, but only one video. If you want to add a video playlist, you should add below of this section, through the content of this post.

Thanks for the response! I contacted them about the 3 ad policy and Google AsSense responded:
“You’re right! We did remove the ad limit per page. I think the problem is with the Blogger site layout. It’s possible that it is only allocating 3 ad units.
The bad news is that we don’t have the ability to do technical troubleshooting of the Blogger widget. Could you try hardcoding all of your ad units and see if it lets them appear?”
So they DID have a 3 ad limit, but have removed that now.
Also, I have over 3 ads showing correctly on the homepage, but not for post pages for some reason. And when I remove an ad for the post page template, the bottom sidebar ad actually DOES show. for example, this page I removed the in-article ad, and then the bottom sidebar ad showed. (http://justfreshkicks.com/ad-test/)
So for some reason with the layout of the theme it’s only allowing up to three ads to show for the post template, NOT the homepage. However Google Adsense confirmed they don’t have a limit anymore and I have more than 3 ads showing on my homepage, so it has to be something with the template.

So I decided to use tags for this. I’ve added the following code to my page template.

But now I can’t change the tag order. It needs to be ordered by ID. I want to show them by order. How can I achieve this?

You could hide it with a simple css code, just enter it in Theme panel->Custom Css, this way you still have a page title but it will not show on the default page template

Unfortunately updating from a very old version such as newspaper 4 will need some elements to be recreated. the sidebar implementation was changed, some elements from the old theme were removed, some elements were added and so on. You will have to re-create your pages in visual composer. The post templates, the header styles, the footer styles, they will all be different as they have been changed over the years. Sorry for the inconvenience but updating from such an old version will require a bit of extra work to do as it will not be a smooth update such as updating from version 6+ to 7+

1. How to save / create the import, I can chose from ; Post, page, Taxanomies, users, grid, VC Templates, cust. CSS
I can save to pages or post no problem. But I dont need the info on pages, I need it to load in different pages vc templates. Or in sidebar areas in this template.
so 2. How to get this imported info out to my template pages buildt with VC Templates. I think maybe this is called to load..:-)
So I will automatic run imports every day, info needs to go to 50 different pages(VC templates) and update…
Any thoughts You have..:-)
