Hi there,

I’ve installed the video demo and started to add my content. Now I need to have a working contact page. How do I do that? I’ve look in theme panel, in widgets and page template and in the documentation but nothing!?!
I would like to have a contact page like the one in the default demo.

I LOVE Newspaper! I just used the theme to upgrade my WP site and here are a few challenges I’m having:

1. The Page Template Setting: At the bottom of my homepage is a pre-defined template called Home Page Latest Articles. I would really like to delete this entire section because it’s a duplication of the content in the upper part of the page. But if I can’t delete it, I’d like to figure out how to change the content. Right now my site is in maintenance mode, but I can send you the login if you need it.

2. Just want to make sure I understand about “filtering” a category. If I set a block and I want it to show just one category, do I have to type all the other categories in so they won’t show up? Or do I type in the one category that I DO want to show up?

I tried changing this CSS from the original CSS:

.td-post-template-1 .td-post-header .entry-title {
font-size: 20px;
line-height: 30px;
}

to this:

.td-post-template-1 .td-post-header .entry-title {
font-size: 16px;
line-height: 22px;
}

and pasted into Advanced CSS field for PHONES 0 – 767px, but the change is not taking effect.

Am I doing something wrong?

I know that this is something that some people have asked before. I want to add comments on some pages (which I’ve used Visual Composer) and have done this: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/enable-comments-in-pages-w-page-builder/#post-59342 copying and pasting the code:

comments_template(”, true);

but it still doesn’t working.

Hello,
I’ve looked through the Theme Settings under “CPT & Taxonomy” and I cannot find an area to choose a default sidebar on the ‘single’ template for each custom post type I have. I can only choose a default sidebar that affects the taxonomy pages.

I’ve already checked this page for advice: https://forum.tagdiv.com/custom-post-type-support/

Any suggestions?

Hi guys,

I have found that, for some reason, using post template style 6 is killing all other images on the same page. For example, see http://www.thecarexpert.co.uk/downsizing-your-car-things-to-consider/

If I use any other featured image style, everything displays correctly (images in sidebar, related posts, more post pop-up, etc.). However, if I choose style 6, all of these other images disappear.

Can anyone offer any advice? I assume that there is a conflict somewhere, but not sure why it only affects that particular template.

As you can see the Google is indexing word “Close” in the Title of the articles / Pages etc.

I am using plenty of custom made templates for CPTs and I would like to hook on the theme’s modal window for images. Currently I have it enables for all post images and they work fine, however all image links at CPT templates open at new browser window.

Additionally, any external images in posts still open in new browser windows.

Is there a way to fix these 2 issues?

I’ve tried everything I could but this just doesn’t work on my side.
I’m trying to have different sidebars on the Homepage and the Single Post view but they’re both using ht esame template options in the Theme Panel.
I’ve also tried to change the sidebar option on my Home page (I’m using a custom home with Visual Composer).

Still it always uses the same Default Widget for all the site areas, so I think after 20+ hours of headache It’s time now to ask for help.

P.S: I think I also found a bug with the “News Ticker Title” – was trying to change the font size for the Ticker Title here:
Blocks/Widgets Title
News Ticker
News Ticker title

So eventually I had to Firebug and write my own custom CSS for it.
I’m really dissapointed that things are not going smooth at all with this theme, seems like lots of things are bugged or at least “Not so easy to edit”.

Was reading in another thread about using fb comments plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/facebook-comments-plugin/

but I’d like to move the location of where the fb comments appear to directly below the article. The plugin allows for the shortcode [fbcomments]

You can also insert the comment box as a shortcode into any post, page or template and use your own settings for each time you do it! Simply use the shortcode [fbcomments]

however when I try to add it to loop-single-5.php for example, it just prints the words [fbcomments] where I want the comments to appear. Do I need to add it to single_template_1.php?

Is there a better way to directly add fb comments to newspaper? If I generate the code on https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/comments#configurator it gives me the facebook sdk to add to “ideally right after the opening <body> tag.” and then add
