Hello,

You have the mobile theme plugin activated; please disable it.
Using our theme, you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/ The option that you need to use.
Suppose you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer. In that case, when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc, so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY.
So, the mobile responsive is what you see when that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
The Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin cannot.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activated and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page, you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activated.
So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.

Hi,

The tagDiv Composer is our page builder and it can be used for building pages and cloud templates, but not for creating posts. For this, you’ll need to use Gutenberg or a classic editor.
Using tagDiv Composer, you can build/edit the single post template (the layout of the posts).
Here is a video that will show you how to use the builder to create a website from scratch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SoGQ0d5kIBg to do this you’ll need to have the posts already.
Also, on our channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOT1RiNysIPCTPSnVZskwtQ, you can find more videos that can help you and documentation https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-documentation/ and you can ask us here on the forum or email if you have any questions.
Also, I don’t recommend using both page builders; use only tagDiv Composer or only Elementor.

Thank you!

Hello,

I used Tagdiv Shop plugin for years.

A few days ago, the products pages no longer displayed, only this mention “critical error on this site. Learn more about WordPress debugging”
When I deactivate the plugin Tagdiv Shop the product page is displayed correctly.

I don’t understand the origin of the problem. I searched in the woocommerce plugin settings and status and found this error message maybe completely unrelated, I don’t know.

On wocommerce i have a message about outdated WooCommerce templates
Newspaper/woocommerce/archive-product.php, /homepages/…/wp-content/plugins/td-woo/templates/woocommerce/cart/cart.php version 3.8.0 is obsolete […] the kernel version is 7.9.0 /homepages/…/wp-content/plugins/td-woo/templates/woocommerce/checkout/form-checkout.php, Newspaper/woocommerce/single-product.php

What i have to do to fix Tagdiv Shop Plugin ?

Thanks

I have a question here: I’ve been building pages on my website straight from TagDiv Composer. I create a page, then I edit with the composer (and then I build the mobile version).

Is it better (loads faster) to build homepage/pages templates then assign them to the pages I create, or is it the same thing?

Thanks.

Hello,

Indeed, the standard template has an issue; if you use a cloud template until this issue is resolved, then there should be no issues https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-cloud-library-templates/

how to edit single post pages using tagdiv composer. I can only see cloud library and prebuilt templates, but i am unable to edit them using tagdiv composer.
Also the “post settings” from newspaper “Theme Panel” has predefined templates which i cannot edit as per my needs.

Hello!

Access the cloud templates -> homepage templates, click here: https://app.screencast.com/LJb5rP5E7ZpQQ
You can search it here like this: https://app.screencast.com/TBFAMb8HlaXig
Please note that you cannot assign a page template to a different template. But you can add sections or edit two pages with the tagdiv composer and copy-paste the elements. If they are the same for both templates, then they will be copied successfully.

Thank you!

Where can I find this template in the cloud template store? I would like to create a home page similar to this one for my happypeoplepickleball.com/shop entry page. Would this be in the cloud template “shop” tab?

Also I searched Kids Store and found pre-made block sections that I would like to use.
Where do I upload these template too in Cloud templates? “General Tab”? Which template area? Page?
or do I upload this to the Cloud Template “Shop” tab and which template area? Woo SHop based template?

THANK YOU!

Hi, I am setting up my WooCommerce shop. I have downloaded the newspaper theme for the base shop page:
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_shop_kids_store/shop/

I opened the cloud template to start configuration. I do not know how to change the cute picture in the first block “Shop by Category”. Where can I find this picture and how can I change it? What are the dimensions here?

On my website it is not even showing that picture – just a gray gradient box but I want to add the picture like the sample theme page.
happypeoplepickleball.com/shop

thank you

Hello @daddynovela!

You should use the single elements that takes the content from Gutenberg and also the featured image automatically. For example: Page Title, Single Post Featured Image, Single Post Content. Documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-cloud-library-templates/

Thank you!

This 2nd block is created using the Flex Loop Builder. It has pagination. When you select 3,4,5 etc. page it is continuously showing the same posts.

I’m using a module template (created from scratch) comprised of 3 separate flex blocks.

Hello,

1. You can use a custom code css to adjust them ->
@media only screen and (max-width: 600px) {
.woocommerce-MyAccount-navigation ul {
display: block;
}
.woocommerce-MyAccount-navigation ul li {
display: block;
margin-bottom: 10px;
}
}

Set the code in Theme Panel ->Custom code -> Custom CSS

2. This is another page from tagdiv Opt-in Builder, which is for subscription, not shop. The woocommerce has this template for account details -> https://i.imgur.com/FxWa9m3.png
3.Copy-paste the URL in another tab of your browser.
4. We strive to provide support as quickly as possible from Monday to Friday 8:00 AM – 16:00 PM

hello bettina !
what i am trying to understand here is how the mobile plugin works!
Is it necessary to activate the mobile and or the amp plugin whenever a new page is to be created?[mobilepage]

I have created a few pages and have assigned mobile pages to each of them.
In the near future I will need more pages.
When I want to create a new page that needs to be assigned a mobile page do I need the mobile tag div activated? [and also the amp plugin]. both of them are now deactivated after mobile page and assignment creation.

Also let me know how the url thing for each mobile page works?

I can now see that the mobile page is loaded on the mobile and the web page on the web, however the url on the mobile is the same as that of the web version.

Also the mobile page can be loaded seperately using its own unique url, it loads there too (on the seperate url for example https://newspatron.com-home-mobile).

Would this affect SEO as duplicate content?
Also, I have noticed that the mobile page doesn’t have an indexing option[or no index option], but since I am using an auto url submission plug-in, it automatically is submitting urls for newly created mobile pages.

One more clarification is required about the templates such as the category, and post templates.

As such, there are no templates in the cloud specifically for the mobile.
I guess the same process (copying template content to mobile content) must be followed right?

I have changed the way my posts are put on my site http://www.in2town.co.uk and i have seen a huge drop in traffic and google impressions and the articles cannot be found in google.

Since i changed my posts the article titles cannot be found in google. here is an example

https://www.in2town.co.uk/gainsborough-news/shop-in-gainsborough-sold-illegal-vapes/

this post title is Shop In Gainsborough Sold Illegal Vapes

normally the title would easily be found, even when i put the site title in front of the post title it is not found. please see the image in google https://ibb.co/3B4V21n

since changing over to cloud template for my post every single article and i am talking about tens of hundreds of them can no longer be found in google. they all have the same problem as the image.

can you please advise on this as i have seen my google impressions drop from 12,000 to less than 100 and also all the keyword ranking for my site which were all under the top ten are not even in the top 200.

I would be grateful for your advice.

Hello again.
I installed the “AMP Standard” version and was able to see the performance improvement for https://newspatron.com
however i noticed the shortcode not being implemented. The shortcode that i have implemented on the home page and page as well as templates where required.

The normal version of the website is implementing the shortcode [the translation option] while the AMP version is not.

Is there a hack or a simple solution to this?
For example implementing the short code as html code or inserting by way of tagdiv composer?

I implemented the shortcode via the text and title option in the tagdiv composer.

The sample urls
https://newspatron.com/
https://newspatron.com/?amp=1
and the posts
https://newspatron.com/android-ai/
https://newspatron.com/android-ai/?amp=1
Please let me know soon.

Thanks for your understanding.

Hoi guys, I used to have a perfect satisfactory page speed, but after using a mobile template for my homepage and switching back to what I had I’m having issues with the loading time of my website. Maybe it has nothing to do with that, but I cannot find what is causing the issue.
I use WP Rocket and exclude the entry-thumb from the lazy-loading option. That does not seem to help.
Even when a deactivate WP Rocket the problem still exists. When I run my homepage trough speed insight the images are not even showing. Do you have any idea what is happening? http://www.wandelingen.info
