I would think TD would support it in both, but i see the same alert in pagespeed. Pagespeed may just look for lazyload on scroll not on load

Sir, i can see on your demo of your newspaper theme it was showing 92/93 on google pagespeed. When i installed on my site its showing 56/80 . I want to give you login of my site and cpanel and make all fixes of speed and make it faster like demo is.
Here my my installed demo.
Hi all, we are seeing a very poor performance on our WordPress with this theme (bad pagespeed, affecting traffic).
Here are a couple of things which could improve performance:
– images inside the sub-menu – can we defer their loading?
– inline scripts – is there a way to serve minified versions of these?
Any other helpful tips will be appreciated. The usual things – minifying assets, gzip, expires headers etc. are all taken care of.
Hate to bump an older thread but support keeps referencing this one. Do yall still have good pagespeed scores? I’m seeing with the new lighthouse tests the theme does terrible on mobile and ok on desktop
Hi,
Please notice that the speed of your website depends on how well your site is optimized. Lately, Google Page Speed Insight seems to change the layout and is not always reliable.
For mobile version you can use the mobile theme -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

I have made some tests on the demo sites and on tagdiv.com on pagespeed and all the sites have very low score especially for the mobile sites. Why is that ?
@epic are any of those guides still current? they may be ok for old pagespeed but the new one doesn’t seem to like newspaper
There are many guides here to optimise the site.

It really helps to use MariaDB also instead of mySQL. Im using a VPS with 2Gb memory with MariaDB and it works just fine. (Note here that I have 8 other WP running of the same space). Im getting roughly 95 for both mobile and desktop (pagespeed insights). Note: You cannot add additional plugins however besides the recommended ones, because they really slow down things if added.
I found i get around 15% speed saving by minifying CSS on desktop.
Also the mobile app is necessary (despite in the guide saying its not needed) due to speed.

I am on the verge of punting this theme from my site as getting it to pagespeed etc that is mentioned on themeforest is an absolute pain especially if you run a non compatible plugin. Don’t get me wrong I love this theme and the updates recently have been great but I no longer want to manually have to min files, make css,js files async etc etc, with this in mind please please please can we have a tool that imports/replaces adrotator as I really don’t want to go through 800+ posts to change a shortcode…
thank you in advance and keep up the good work

Hello~
How can I speed up my mobile site.
1. My mobile site speed is ‘3’ in ‘PageSpeed Insights’
https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fpapacurator.com%2F
2. I did your guide
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
1) Enabling Gzip compression
: Already did in hosting service
2) Set the Leverage Browser Caching
: I did below code in .htaccess
3) Optimize images
: I use ‘EWWW Image Optimizer’
4) Use a cache plugin (WP Super Cache)
: I set WP Super Cache
5) Remove render blocking css/js –
using the TagDiv SpeedBooster plugin (advanced users)
: I tried but nothing changed
target ‘FILE-ID’
…td-multi-purpose/style.css?ver=72ece2d…
(papacurator.com) 68 KB 2,130 ms
code ‘FILE-ID’
$this->move_style_to_footer_queue(‘td-multipurpose’);

Hi,
For increased performance on mobile there is a mobile theme you could use. Here is some information about it – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
The desktop looks alright, there could be some improvements – http://prntscr.com/mf5r86
For overall optimization to the website you can check some topics from the forum
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/newpaper9-theme-making-website-very-slow-google-pagespeed-just-24100/
Regarding the AMP issues, seems the auto ads code has been entered in the header ad spot
– http://prntscr.com/mf5orn
That would be wrong, that code can only be entered like this at the moment
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/info-adv-amp/
I believe an option will be added in a coming update for the AMP plugin, so that the code can be entered in the theme panel instead of the plugin files. But for the moment that is the only way.
Thanks
