slider revolution has any license code to register? as can’t update it automatically and latest version isn’t available in theme pack, wordfence says the plugin has a security vulnerability, same with the WPBakery Page Builder.
if i deactivate all the thumb on modules/blocks and regenerate the thumbnails what images will be displayed in modules/blocks? the default thumbs from wordpress? as are generated thousands of images because of those modules/block sizes.
also is there any support for the theme outside the forum? creating topics on and on and waiting sometimes over 1h for response isn’t always good.
Hi PanNature, as simchris mentioned it will be recomandated to have a backup for the media directory before doing any image optimizations, after that you can use a plugin to dele old/unused thumbs. Here are some example o plugins that can be used:
–Force Regenerate Thumbnails
– Regenerate Thumbnails
– reGenerate Thumbnails Advanced

I think there is a free plugin to remove unused photos.
Some folks just delete them and then use ‘regenerate thumbnails’ — however that annoying addition from WordPress to add -1 to every file name might cock that up.
If you do FULL BACKUP then try something like that, you can always restore your images if one effort not successful how you intended.
(I don’t work here …just WP user since 1.5)

Please provide an example of the issue you have now, and it wasn’t when you installed the theme, so we can check if there is a bug or not. You have the option to hide the featured images from Flex Block, for example.

My website stopped displaying the thumbnails when users are logged in, including the administrators. People not logged in can see everything normally, but is very difficult to manage the website not being able to see the images from below, or preview the posts.
We have regenerated the thumbnails and restored the website many times. Doesn’t work.
Maybe there is an option for this we have to uncheck in the theme settings?

Hi,
To configure your thumbnails, navigate to Newspaper -> Theme panel -> Block settings -> Thumbs on modules/blocks. If you disable a dimension there, any subsequent image uploads will not be resized to that dimension.
Once you’ve adjusted the thumbnail sizes, remember to regenerate your thumbnails using a plugin. For guidance, refer to: https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-the-theme-with-existing-content/
Please note: If the specific thumbnail for that block isn’t enabled, the image won’t be displayed.

1. Yes, this can be done, there are also plugins that can do this and can be used.
2. Also, in the theme panel thumbs sections let on only the thumbs that you are using (and default eventually the default sizes – https://i.imgur.com/OFGjPwW.png) – https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/
Unfortunately there is no system that will display the size that are enabled, but it can be done vice-versa, you can disable the thumbnails from the theme panel and check on the website to see those thumbs that are requested, it will be displayed like this – https://i.imgur.com/oWVNbbU.png and enabled those sizes in the theme panel – https://i.imgur.com/UkxiaA0.png
Also if it is a flex, you can changed the thumb on module – https://i.imgur.com/jqXWXqN.png

Hello Marco Calvo,
Attempting to delete that field won’t work; it won’t delete. If you try to delete it, it will automatically regenerate as it’s a Balada Malware Injector.
Therefore, you’ll need to reinstall the theme manually. Follow Step 5 & Step 6 as outlined above. & Before this don’t forget Step 2: Backup

I have general most important problem with images.
Have you encountered such a problem?
1. In many cases (not all) regenerate-thumbnails plugin inform me:
The fullsize image file cannot be found in your uploads directory at…
and I see this image in the directory.
2. The regenerated image generate additional image sizes which I don’t see in BLOCK SETTINGS > THUMBS SIZES
I’m using cdn synchronized via WP media with AWS and for optimalization by Smush.

What kind of errors are you seeing exactly?
I see you’re doing some cleaning concerning the thumbnails. I can recommend this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/ which has an option to remove the unused thumbs. It will create/keep the sizes which you have activate in the theme panel, and remove the rest of them. This should free up a lot of space, assuming you had all the theme thumbs active for a long period of time.
Actually to know which thumbs you are using, you could do it like this. Deactivate all the thumb sizes in the theme panel. Then browse the website, and note the sizes which will be displayed like so https://prnt.sc/L0MHsyYjZBvL Then activate just those.
Post template 3 uses the 681 X 0 size for the featured image. If you use this template, that size should be active.
Once you know which sizes are needed, then you can use the regenerate thumbs plugin. That would be all basically.
But if there are any errors, please mention a few more details.

Is that a bug?” – normally this can be done if the images are not uploaded using the WordPress media and this is working like this because there are users that prefer to use the original image and not a thumb.
By default if the module block thumb is enabled in the theme panel – https://i.imgur.com/lZgC97S.png and the image is uploaded using media or is regenerated using a plugin a thumb for that module will be made.
Now if there is also a problem with media images, then indeed it is possible to be something interfering, most of the time it is a plugin or some custom code in a child theme.
