Hello joep,

1)Please notice that the Block Header Styles does not have any such a hover effect, sorry! If you want to have such an effect, you should use a bit of CSS code in order to achieve this. Try the code below and place it in Theme panel -> Custom CSS area.

The code is ->

.td-block-title-wrap:hover{
background-color:green;
}

The result is here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/KYOJ4dnoKS

2)You can try the code below and add a margin top to your social sharing buttons.

The code is ->

@media (max-width: 767px){
.td-post-sharing-top {
margin-top: 20px;
}
}

The result is here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/wHSS4q9v39by

Also, if you have some additional customizations which can break the mobile theme layout you should optimize it. So, if you will check our demo on mobile, you will see good results.

3)Try the code below and place it in Theme panel -> Custom CSS area.

The code is ->

.widget_mc4wp_form_widget .td-block-title span {
color:red;
}

The result is here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/Pv20efchx

Thanks for the message!

I upgraded to version 8.7 and 8.7.2 but the problem is the sharing buttons of every post are not showing. How is this possible? Please see screenshot: https://snag.gy/qlK5pH.jpg. The website in question is http://www.localpulse.net. The version currently used is 8.5.1.

Hi,

When i publish the post and share the post to Facebook.
I cannot see the Image which i placed in Featured Image.

This is how they look for me as well, on initial page loading
https://www.screencast.com/t/7uJdrd490ca
So there would be no visible problem with the post sharing from what I can see.

Hi,

That is the new social sharing functionality, when there is not enough space available to display all the socials they will be hidden and an option will be displayed to show them (a “+” sign).

I could give you a code you could try, to remove the text on the socials on mobile, thus creating more space. Enter it in Theme panel->Advanced CSS in the phones section.

.td-post-sharing-visible .td-social-but-text {
display: none;
}

I don’t have any information I could provide you regarding a theme update at the moment. An update would contain exactly the same modifications mentioned in this topic.

@mbernloehr
We could take a look, send us as well an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login and FTP access.

@DensS
Your Instagram ID seems to work from what I can see
https://www.screencast.com/t/ytfjaNi5I
It works in both Instagram widget and social sharing counter. That hashtag is added after the user ID in by the social counter plugin, it will not cause any issues.

My image is the correct ratio but in the homepage big grid, something is going wrong and there is extra empty space around it on the right side and on the bottom of the image. What is going on here? How can I prevent this from happening? I’ve linked it here https://drive.google.com/file/d/1pQstcrdzRINFnzhSh3boIPT9GcaldlTX/view?usp=sharing

Hi,

Could be a misunderstanding by my colleague, however there are solutions that you can try. By default that is not a theme ad spot, so ads cannot be displayed there. You could edit the post template and insert a do_shortcode in the location you want, inside the post structure
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/single-post-how-to-place-a-horizontal-banner-right-below-the-sharing-buttons/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-can-i-put-ads-between-post-title-and-social-share-button/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/add-content-globally-to-bottom-of-each-post/

Hi,

Article ads are part of the post content, that would not be possible unless you try it in a different way. You will have to remove the article bottom ad spot and implement the ad in a different way. These are some similar topics where the ad has been added through a shortcode instead of theme ad spot
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/single-post-how-to-place-a-horizontal-banner-right-below-the-sharing-buttons/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-can-i-put-ads-between-post-title-and-social-share-button/
That way the ad could be controlled in terms of positioning in the post structure, you could try this if you consider it a solution.

Thanks

Hi Simion

I want the “bottom article sharing” before “article bottom ad”. Is the ad part of the content? Or how can I identify it in the loop-file?

Best regards from Lars

Hi,

Thank you for your appreciation and congratulations for the website.

You could edit the post template files, each post template has corresponding loop-single files, these are located in the main theme folder
https://www.screencast.com/t/qgCpgUfz1
There you can see the structure of the post elements and arrangement. Edit loop-single-6 for post template 6 and move the sharing below the content, see if that provides the result you want.

Thanks

Hi

Just launched our magazine wefrb.dk. Extremely satisfied with the theme. Thanks!!!

I have a question: how can I shift position of the “article bottom ad” and the “bottom article sharing”. The theme is post style 6. I would like the sharing to appear just after the article and before the ad (we have Strossle-ads in the posts)

Looking forward to hearing from you soon!

Best regards from Lars

Maybe you are not using the latest theme version. I believe the changes to the social sharing section was made in version 8.6 if you do not have that section these options will not be available unless you update the theme

Wrong option.

go to the theme panel >> post settings >> sharing >>> check the digg option.

Hi,

That would be difficult to do, and probably you will have to make the modifications after each theme update, so that may not be a proper method. You could disable the theme socials and use a sharing plugin or use one in addition to the theme sharing options.

Thanks

Hi,

That is the theme post sharing section, the socials you select in the theme panel will be displayed in the post page (top and bottom sharing sections)
https://www.screencast.com/t/2sbBFZLp
More socials could be added in future updates. If you would require more sharing options, it would be better and easier to install a sharing plugin than to modify theme files.

Thanks

For those who have facebook sharing concerns of their articles (error with debugger facebook developper -> opengraph), I solved my concerns by disabling “minifying” in the options of my cache plugin.

Hi there,

We often go out and conduct interviews. Apart from the ‘author box’, may I know if it’s possible to have a separate box to display profiles of the interviewees?

Similar to this site: https://today.mims.com/we-all-know-diabetes-or-do-we-not

The author name is displayed under the title while the ‘profile box’ is displayed under the social sharing icons.

Please advise, thanks!
