This is a strange effect.
First of all, try to do these steps as quickly as possible, so your visitors do not notice the process:
1. disable TagDiv Composer
2. uninstall TagDiv Composer
3. clear cache (if cache plugin exists)
4. install TagDiv Composer
5. activate TagDiv Composer
6. clear cache (if cache plugin exists)
Also, make sure your WordPress and plugins are up to date(specially Standard Pack installed and active if you use default templates).
Sometimes, the issue can be from a plugin conflict, that’s why, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache(also from your browser) and try again.

Indeed this is a strange issue. It might be cache, Please contact your host and let them know about your issue, if they offer any caching plugin, our recommendation would be for they to turn it off and let you use your own. Also make sure that your website has security and nobody else can access it in order to create damages.

we are having a strange issue with the canonicals. We are missing the slug in the cononical link tag on every second article that we have scheduled for publishing.
It looks like that…
<link rel="canonical" href="https://domain.abc/" />
…but it should show this:
<link rel="canonical" href="https://domain.abc/my-article-slug" />
The canonical can be manually fixed by updating the article after it is published. This is a temporay solution. It should be correct in the first place. Do you have any idea what could cause this?

I have a extremely strange issue. On my pages thee was asettings at the bottom of the page showing the option to override the sidebar options. Now it is currently not there. Does anyone have how this can happen or at least get it back?

When my home page is active, the menu is styled correctly, but when any other item is selected on the menu, the style changes. How can I set the menu style of my home page for ALL pages/posts?
I added several new “cat” categories and created a new default menu to use (header). I selected the new menu (header) while editing the home page.
Strange, when I rename one of the default demo categories and add it to the menu, it keeps the style (Cat News for example).

That’s a bit strange, because it is working well on my side when I was testing it and it should be in the chronological order by default.
The issue can be from a plugin conflict, that’s why, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
If this problem is not solved after that, then we need to take a look and see what happened there.

I have 3 different page templates and corresponding mobile templates that I use for posts. The issue is the same on all of them.
The issue just seemed to start for no reason and I can’t say exactly what day it started. I had 3 ads inserted in the Ads settings with the first one to start after the 5th paragraph, the second one after the 11th paragraph, and the third after the 20th paragraph.
On the desktop sites, the ads display as they should. But on mobile, it began displaying two ads at the top of the post, one after the other below the title. The ads being there kept any content other than the title from displaying above the fold.
I thought it might be a conflict between the Amp plugin, TagDiv Mobile Theme plugin, and Mobile Templates. I deactivated and deleted both the Amp plugin and the Mobile Theme plugin, leaving just the mobile templates. The problem still exists.
As a test, I removed all ads from the content section. None displayed on desktop or mobile, which is as it should be.
I added one ad back in after the 11th paragraph. It worked as expected on the desktop, but displayed at the top of the content section on mobile.
I moved the ad to be after the 5th paragraph. Same result.
What’s even stranger is that even with only one ad inserted in the settings, the mobile template displays duplicate ads at the top of the post content section.
The settings won’t allow me to set different ad settings for desktop and mobile. I can insert two ads for desktop and save the settings, then go to the mobile settings for ads and remove one and save the settings. It removes the ad from desktop and mobile. That is after changing the settings for desktop and saving, then opening the mobile settings and save them. Always – change ads in either one, the other one changes, too.
No matter what settings, as long as there is at least one ad in the settings, two will display at the top of the content section on mobile.
Of course, I have cleared the caches in all browsers on mobile and desktop, cleared the cache in WP Rocket, cleared the CDN cache. The server cache refreshes every 60 seconds. None of those help the problem.
What could possibly be causing this?

Only tag div plugins are active.
In theme panel I set an imported template as general template for all categories. In “calabria talent” the template setting is “Inherit form Global Settings”.

That’s strange. Which plugin you use for translation?
The issue could be from a plugin conflict if you use a plugin which is not tested with our theme.
Also, try to re-install the TagDiv Composer plugin and try again.

Bettina, thanks for your reply. There some plugin conflict I’m trying to sort out. at the moment I am unable to add a new element. It sounds strange because if I deactivate all the plugins tag div composer works. When I activate Litespeed that I use as a cache plugin, it stops working, but if I deactivate only this last one after having reactivated the remaining again stops working.
I face some strange issues with the Author Box as shown in the image attached
I honestly can’t find what’s going on, we did no changes in the theme or whatever.

the problem is this:
when i create a new post with youtube video, i insert the link of the video taken from youtube.
when i save the article, the theme does not extract the thumbnail as featured image.
If i save again, the article shows thumbnail.
Often, i’ve to save again as STANDARD ARTICLE, than again as VIDEO ARTICLE and it shows thumbnail!

WPForms requires the uses of AJAX to submit credit card forms to Stripe. Recently they updated their Stripe add-on plugin and you updated TD Composer a few days earlier.
Some part of the code changes made between these two plugins now causes WPForms forms with Stripe payment buttons on them to no longer process payments. You can click on the submit button but the AJAX command needed to make the form submit will not fire.
I have WPForms looking into this as well but I wanted to get your input as well since I doubt that I’m the only site affected by this conflict. If I am then I can assure you it isn’t an honor – 🙂

Thank you for your reply. I have resolved the issue in the following manner just in case it can help others.
This is the solution if your web hosting provider offers automatic caching when it hosts your wordpress site.
1. Delete all cache plugins. I deleted WP Super Cache, Cloudflare and Hummingbird Pro.
2. Install Proxy Cache Purge plugin.
It seems Newspaper wants only ONE cache plugin. Since my web hosting already provides it, I can’t use any plugins that have a cache feature. The Proxy Cache Purge doesn’t do any caching. It’s just a ‘telephone’ on my wordpress dashboard to my web hosting provider to purge my cache.
After I did this — 1) the mobile tagdiv composer page showed up on Android mobile chrome. Good! 2) The tagdiv composer theme for PCs showed up on Chrome. Good! 3) However, on Microsoft Edge on PC, the mobile tagdiv composer page showed up. Strange and not good. Is this supposed to happen?

Yes, but the strange thing is, that it is not showing up in the editor (tagdiv or html editor) So it looks like it’s stuck in the database somewhere. Can you remove this?
