Hi, I’ve been using Newspaper theme for a long time and I love it. I started using TDComposer recently on my primary Jaipur city travel blog (linked) where I’m facing strange issue.
A strange white bar is always there above first element in TDComposer and Top Menu bar. I couldn’t find any way to fix it. Any help will be appreciated.

Try to regenerate the thumbnails if there are problems with the images in blocks/grids and other modules – https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/

This will recreate all the sizes needed by the theme – https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/

Also be sure to check the theme requirements guide
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
In some cases problems with images in the media library were caused by low wp-memory or when using older versions of PHP. If you use an older version of PHP, try to use 7 or 7.1 if possible.

In case the problem remains in the website, a link to the website where the issue is happening would be helpful so I can take a look.

Greetings. I configured the site weeks ago, everything works perfectly, but I noticed the plugin displays a yellow warning that says “No caching plugin detected – for best performance we recommend using WP Super Cache”, which is strange because I already have it installed. I followed the configuration guide here to properly set up WP Super Cache with the theme, and here’s how the configuration looks now: https://prnt.sc/mfq88y, but it still doesn’t detect it. I searched the forum to see if someone had the same issue and I found a thread where it was advised to modify the plugin to add these lines https://github.com/Automattic/wp-super-cache/pull/185/files, but the thread was from 2017 and by now the plugin creators fixed that flaw.

Does it maybe have to do with the installation being Multisite?

It’s not because of the child theme. I tried without as well.

Basically, no matter if I change the code in Newspaper>includes>demos>fast>demo_style.css (https://prnt.sc/mflzlb), when I look at the page code in console (F12), the same default colors appear: http://prntscr.com/mfm3dg. Strangely enough, when looking in the console where it takes it’s colors from it does say that the CSS is in Newspaper>includes>demos>fast>demo_style.css, but it doesn’t see the updated colors.

I’m not using any caching plugins, so that’s not the issue.

HI, I sent you the data to enter the web, for the reason of the videos. if you can check cloud templates, because the button also seemed strange to me that until a few days ago I was in another location.
in the face of despair yesterday I also deleted the cloud templates and reeintale from the theme installer.
I sent the data to enter the web in an email with the previous problem.

Hi,

It seems to be strange this behavior, sorry! Ensure that you are correctly using the latest version of the theme installed via FTP way, remove all of the untested plugins, clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results. As a quick solution, check the following code and place it in Theme panel -> Custom CSS area.

.td-sub-footer-copy .td-pb-padding-side{
width:max-content;
}

The result is here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/CEVerAgrB

Thanks.

Hi,

something very strange has happened today. Suddently a great part of my theme settings has disappeared including posts and pages style settings, footer settings, fonts settings, sidebars, logos uploaded. Why that?
Any idea to restore everything?

Thank you

Hi,

Seems the top grid is the last to load indeed. Does the same happen if you deactivate all plugins excerpt theme plugins? This is worth a try, a plugin could cause this problem. Then test again to see if there is a difference.

Also consider to regenerate the thumbnails, seems the full size of the image is used in the theme modules, they should e thumbnails. This will lead to bigger page sizes and slow loading times (the homepage has almost 10 MB – http://prntscr.com/mdqqx7). Here is a guide

Thanks

Hello,

usually this is fixed by increasing your memory allocation. Please use this guide carefully and make the proper implementation on your site: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Also you can check your htaccess for any strange rules that could affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Thank you!

Question 1: Any thoughts why this might be happening?

I’m decently familiar with WordPress. I have cleared W3 Total Cache, cleared the browser cache, closed the browser, etc., but nothing has worked.

Question 2 (nearly related):
I made a row with 3 columns.
For a desktop, I’d like the 3 items close together, so I used “right, center, left” alignment.
But for a mobile device, it obviously looks strange having “right, center, left” alignment on top of each other. What is the work around for this?

Thank you!

Edit: For Question 2, in the TagDiv Composer, the elements are centered, but on an actual Android device, they are not. #scratchingmyhead

Hi,

1)Please notice that our theme does not have any such an option that allows you to change the header.php from theme panel, sorry!
2)Sorry, the theme does not have any such an option. If the strange characters appear, you need to consult this topic from here ->

If you modified the thumbnail cropping for that size in the code, it will affect future images, not the ones that are already created with the old cropping.

It will require you to regenerate with the plugin for the old thumbnails to be affected

Hello,

Just back from homeland and I noticed my site increasing in 404 error daily and within just two days, the error going up to 715 errors. I am not quite sure how this is going to happen as the site linking to me has nothing to do with my site and I even dont know this site before. it’s a completely niche about casino link while my site is about hairstyle.

The strange thing is it’s about linking to my search tab as I added the search bar into the menu last month.

Here’s the screenshot from webmaster tool. Can you suggest me or give me any idea regarding this?

This problem appears when you install the theme on a site that already has content. The theme comes with it’s own thumbnails to minimize the page size and increase the page loading speed.
