Ah yes! I’m referencing the tagDiv Newsletter plugin. It’s on my homepage – the field and button are being formatted strange (email field used to be centered and button was on the lower right corner). I have just updated my test site (fortunately not the live one) to 9.1 and new TD Composer wrecked a few things.
When TD Composer is active (new version, built 12.10.), saving options in the Theme Panel doesn’t work. The “busy” indicator just keeps spinning and nothing happens.
Also, activated TD Composer gives some very strange behaviour in the plugins area. For example, when I try to delete some other plugin by clicking the link on the Plugins page, WP throws a weird error on top of page and doesn’t do anything. When TD Composer is disabled, everything works.
I went through the usual checklist (disabling cache, all other plugins, reuploading everything from scratch…), nothing helped.
Please advise.

Maybe something happened with the medial library or uploads folder where the images are kept.

I just upgraded my site to the latest version and now the email plugin is acting strange. The field bar and button are not centered- see here on my homepage, http://www.cuddlepill.com

I changed it to all categories purged the cache and it loaded up other posts. Then I switched back to the category AFL. And again it displays the same 3 posts.
The strange thing is when I switch categories inside the tagdiv composer it will load up the new article but it won’t save it. After saving it will keep at the old 3 posts.
Don’t know whats going on with this.
I got strange problem… Bellow header where is my menu for users,date, wheather, and search there doesn’t have a color background (it’s white, and it should be black).
Strange is that when I go on edit with composer (or in wp-admin) it display black background, and when I save and preview it doesn’t…
I’ve update theme and wordpress… same problem…

This is my first post here, so hello everyone.
I’ve just started with Newspaper theme and I like it, however I’ve got a similar issue, one of the very first ones encountered (all other ones successfully dealt with already by learning and trying 😉 ).
It’s not a biggy and it’s great that it can be fixed by changing the WP site language, however it’s slightly inconvenient – my site is in Polish but I’m very much used to English version of WP admin, so much that it looks very strange to me now in Polish, actually 😀
Obviously, I can live with it (if it’s the only option), but is there any other way to get the contry/language-specific date format in the site (front-end) language whilst keeping the back-end in English (or any other language)? Or will I have to use sth like an external widget for that?

It seems strange, but with default theme also my all 404 pages are redirecting to homepage.
I even tried after disabling yoast, wordfance and jetpack. still the problem persist.

We use 3 of the theme ads locations: “Article top ad”, “Article bottom ad” and “Custom ad1”.
When we publish new ads, at first they appear correctly. However a few hours later, the theme seems to revert to the previous ads automagicaly. It’s very strange and very tiresome, having to re-publish the new ad everytime the old one appears.
Any ideas? thanks

I have inspected your website and I have noticed that you have a lot of errors through your console which causes this strange behavior in your theme, sorry! Please look at this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/nau2Ss88g3eT Also, I saw that you are using a lot of untested plugins which interact with the theme core files and which might break the theme layout. Remove all of these, clear all the caches and check again the results. Also, if the problem is still there, please try to update the theme to the latest version of the theme via FTP way and check the results.

Our site uses a lot of squared images for album artwork, and we can’t help but notice that sometimes they are stretched rather strangely, or cut in half whereas the original image has no issues at all.
Any idea how to resolve this ?

Here the second album, Bent van Looy, is clearly too wide in comparison to the rest.
Here the fourth album is cut in half. This is a random row so you might need to refresh the page a few times to get the effect.

I am facing some strange issue with AMP,
I have activated AMP for posts as well as for pages also.
The problem is “posts are working fine with /amp” but “none of my pages are working with /amp” all pages giving me the error 404 page not found.
I would like to use all categories and tags also with /amp
I have searched in this forum and found some solutions, like: saving the permalink settings, saving WordPress setting again, clearing the catch, I did try all these but none of this worked for me.

It is not really an issue, that is how the theme is supposed to work. The focus will be on the center top of the images used.
Let’s take this image you use in the gallery for example, it has top and bottom empty space

When the theme crops it and focuses on the center top, the result will be like this

Having better results also depends on the images you use in the first place.
Using a regenerate thumbnails plugin is needed in these cases

In this case regenerating will not do anything, the same thumbnails will be created.
I suggested you try a gallery plugin which may display images differently. Maybe try installing a few and make tests in a test post, with the same images from your media library.
