It seems to be a strange behavior, sorry! Please ensure that you are using the latest theme version which can be updated via FTP way because this is the surest method in this case -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-install-via-ftp/. Also, if you are using some untested plugins, please try to disable all of them, leave just only the plugins that come bundled with the theme core files and check the results. Clear all the caches!

Most of these issues could be related to a plugin conflict.
Please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

No idea what happened. Been fighting with this all day long.
Before this morning everything had worked smoothly and fast, then today? Slow slow and at times, the page takes a fully minute to load. Now I’ve got it working better, but, it’s still strange with images not wanting to load quick enough.
Already tried switching from WP Rocket to WP Super Cache and now onto Fastest Cache Premium. Still not good.
Placed an index in mysql for auto and still…
Restored days old backups and still the same thing. Had to restore the most recent one so’s to avoid losing all my work from the past days.

thank you very much for your feedback! The page actually displays correctly now. There must have been some caching issues, solved by purging it both in Cloudflare and in my hosting.
I still can’t save them panel changes in some devices, though. It’s very strange, and don’t understand why it works with some devices, and doesn’t with others. Any ideas on possible causes?
The biggest issue I encountered, though, is about posts. All the 810 posts in my site, created with VC and newspaper 7, have the sidebar overlapping content. The articles are full page and don’t leave space for the sidebar.
The only solution I found is modifying each post and changing columns from 1 single column to 2/3-1/3. But doing that for all posts is just crazy.
I saw that that’s a known issue. Are you working on any patch to make a bulk modification?

Hi, I have just installed the Newspaper theme and are currently working on the set-up in a staging enviroment. I have enabled SSL, but there is a strange mixed content error message that is giving me some trouble.
In source code under:
<!– Header style compiled by theme –>
There is a code section that looks like this:

background-image: url(‘http://153449-www.web.tornado-node.net/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/10.jpg’);
}
So obvious this is the cause of the mixed content error, but I cant really find the settings that apply for this specific code. I have tried almost every setting and combinations of settings in the theme admin section with no luck.
I need some advice on this matter.

Then clear any installed cache. The thumbnail should be created from the featured image of the post and displayed.

Hello! The code is working, and I added “text-align: center” but strangely this is only working for the homepage menu. On all of the other pages, it is left aligned. Could you please tell me why?

If you could provide a link to a post with one of these post templates, we will inspect it. Usually plugins can cause image problems, but there might be other causes. We will know more after inspecting the issue.

And also take note of the requirements for the server, GD library needs to be installed for image processing. You can contact your hosting provider and check.
