Hi guys,
In the Newspaper 6, there is a Newspaper system status. It show me this :
WP Home URL i http://reussir-ses-relations.com
WP Site URL i https://reussir-ses-relations.com
Home URL – Site URL Home URL != Site URL Home URL not equal to Site URL, this may indicate a problem with your WordPress configuration.
But when I go in my wordpress general settings, my two urls (site and home) are configured with HTTP.
In fact, the fact the HTTPS is showing in the system status is not casual. Sometimes, when I access to my site with a HTTP url, my menus and links are in HTTPS. Sometimes in HTTP.
Something is going wrong but I don’t know what.
Do you know what could be provoking this problem ?

Recently we haven’t had any similar reports regarding the Visual Composer plugin so please check the theme system status to see if the php memory limit has been increased as setting it from wp-config may not work if your host does not allow for increasing the PHP memory limit–in that event, contact your host to increase the PHP memory limit.
If this problem persist please address us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide your site’s admin and ftp login details so we can have a closer look at this and also include a link to this topic.

Check your panel status for the speed booster plugin and make sure it’s active: http://screencast.com/t/a2BBchudPE as it’s set to disable itself if detects an incompatible plugin. I see you use lots of plugins so you should consider that recent versions of the tagdiv speed booster plugin have been designed to disable when it detect incompatible plugins. If you’re not aware of the steps you need to take to improve your page speed score we advise your to hire a freelancer to help you do it because we cannot provide speed customization services at the moment.
The theme uses the WordPress thumbs cropping system and depending on image’s aspect ratio the result could be different, you can find more details here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/image-size/ and more details about cropping here: http://www.davidtan.org/wordpress-hard-crop-vs-soft-crop-difference-comparison-example/
There is not an ideal image size for all thumbs, and a way to find what image will fit best would be to do some tests depending what blocks/modules you use most add an image more nearest with aspect ratio of the thumbs in which you want it to look well. Please make sure you added the code in the right place for Newspaper theme: http://screencast.com/t/3vBx7m44UYv Also notice that the plugin deactivate itself automatically if detect an incompatible plugin, we added this measure to avoid conflicts with plugins that won’t allow to move their resources at the bottom of the page.

Also try to use only plugins that you need. The speed booster move the js and css at the bottom of the page to Eliminate render-blocking, but not for all plugins. We added a list with plugins with which we tested the Speed Booster plugin, it automatically disables itself if a new plugin is installed. This measure was added to prevent plugin conflict/failure because some plugins won’t work fine their resources are moved to the bottom of the page.

Hello,
I just installed and activated the “Newspaper” theme but when I try to connect to my my blog (paris-singapore.com) I only have the following error:
"Fatal error: Unknown: Cannot use output buffering in output buffering display handlers in Unknown on line 0"
All the system status were on green and i didnt notice any particular issues during the installation / activation process.
Any idea on how to resolve the issue? Thank for your help and have a great day 🙂

Please check system status and see if all values are set ok(green) – http://screencast.com/t/5pVg8FxyrY07 you should not have any issues. You can contact your server administrator and ask him about this as it seems to be related to the server configuration. Also you please make sure that you have permission for upload folder, you can try to upload an image to media library to check this. Let me know how it goes!

1. I see that you use child theme, please switch to the main theme, clear cache and see if you still have this issue. If it is fixed please make sure that you update the child theme version provided with latest version of the theme(version that you use), you can find it in the /code folder.

3. Please make sure that your panel settings are saved. For example if you change the module to display articles on specific category, it applies on front-end? If it doesn’t apply please check the system status for this value – http://screencast.com/t/VQxFWDGh4Gq and change it if you have access to php.ini file or if you don’t, contact your host.

It’s possible that this issue with saving settings appears because the server security module blocks the access to admin-ajax.php file or the file it’s not found. Try to verify if this happens when you save settings in other cases in theme panel and also verify the console for error while saving the settings on the Theme Panel, usually it displays a 403 or 404 error.
Contact your server administrator and explain the situation, as it’s requested many times during the a save the file it’s treated as threat so it’s banned. You can report false positives to your server administrator to remove it from the banned list.

Hi,
I followed your page speed guide a while back on Newspaper 4 which recommends W3 Total, however on the system status page it says:
“W3 total cache (we recommend WP super cache)”
Is it now recommended to switch from W3 to Super for version 6?

Just bought the theme today and installed in Server.
When I checked system status it shows Speed Booster is disabled because of Akismet. I am using Version 3.1.3 of Akismet. Do we have any compatibility issue with Akismet. This is a very common plugin to protect spam.
Uninstalled, reinstalled Akismet. I don’t have many plugin installed as I am just setting up the server. I am using the latest version of your theme.

I got an error after updated the theme newsmag theme into version 2.1, you can check screenshot. For more info.
Also inside system status (max_input_vars 1000 – the max_input_vars should be bigger than 2000, otherwise it can cause incomplete saves in the menu panel in WordPress) showing me, but it was already bigger then 2000.
Speed Booster v4.1 – Disabled – incompatible plugin detected: admin-menu-editor/menu-editor.php
v4.1 – Disabled – incompatible plugin detected: akismet/akismet.php
I already disable 6 plugins, but it’s showing me again and again this error incompatible plugin detected with each plugin. I don’t know what to do. Solve it soon.

After my last theme upgrade I received 404 Error on all my links from the front page.
Newspaper system status had the following caution:
Home URL != Site URL Home URL not equal to Site URL, this may indicate a problem with your WordPress configuration.
In my settings I have my url entered like this.
Wordpress address: http://PureGospelNetwork.com
Site address http://puregospelnetwork.com
I don’t know how long it has been like this but these two lines should be exactly the same. They are now case sensitive. Once corrected the 404 errors are gone.

I had raised it to 64Mb to get “green” on Newsmag system status.
With 1Mb ram, is it okay to raise it to 96Mb?
