Hi,
In major cases, this error happens due to the wrong theme installing. First of all, please make sure that you have correctly installed the theme via FTP way, according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/ Also, check the system status parameters to be increased according to our guide from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ If you have an old PHP version, you should try to update it to a new version, like 7.1 or 7.2. If you cannot change it you need to request this to your hosting provider.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thank you!
Hi,
Please notice that before each theme updating, we strongly recommend making a full backup to your database to avoid losing all of your data. Hello,
I am having problem with my website. I have increased all my settings like memory, etc on the PHP. I unplugged every plugin, I have even removed the theme and uploaded it back onto my site.
I keep running into the issue where when I try to go to the theme panel to customize my website it just times out and keeps spinning and never saves.
I am on day 2 of this being an issue and still not able to resolve the issue.
1) Although I updated on the settings, when looking at the system status, it still shows yellow for WP Memory Limit even though I updated it to 256mb. Why would this not be updating? I flushed my cache already.
2) I know it states to make the following false, but I noticed this on the backend, would this possible help this issue I am running into with the theme panel?
Advanced caching plugin. Inactive: Requires define(‘WP_CACHE’, true); in wp-config.php file.
Any insight or assistance would be great.
Hi,
Please make sure that the theme system status is configured as mentioned in the requirements guide. Please follow the guide carefully

Hello !
Usually this issue is related to a firewall or security module which blocks admin-ajax.php request. Please verify the console for error while saving the settings on the Theme Panel, usually it displays a 403 or 404 error.
I suggest to check your System Status and increase all the php.ini directives at least to the recommended values – https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
If you don’t use a security plugin, please ask your host about this, maybe you have a security module which blocks this.
If you use a plugin like Wordfence please set it in learning mode.
Let us know and if the issue persist please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin access so we can take a closer look. Also paste a link to this topic so we can identify you.

Hi,
I just bought your theme and installed Gossip demo. In System status, all fields should but ok, however once I select “Edit with TD Composer” on homepage or just any other page, it takes me on empty page with URL *website*/post.php?post_id=93&td_action=tdc&tdbTemplateType=page (or it doesn’t return the page because of timeout?)
Can you please help me with this issue?
Thank you
Best regards,
Peter

My system status does not indicate anything off right now. The PHP Version is 7.3.5, the max_execution_time is properly set, the max_input_vars is at 5000, and SUHOSIN is not installed.
The WP Memory Limit is properly set, and WP_DEBUG is false.
The issue is not that settings are not being saved. It is that the “Thumbs on Modules/Blocks” menu item in that screenshot cannot be opened at all. I do not even see the settings underneath that option. Otherwise, I can open all other menu options, and properly Save Settings.
Hi,
Please ensure that your system status was correctly updated according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ In major cases, this error appears when your PHP memory has exhausted and that’s why you cannot save anything.
Thank you!
Hi,
Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate all non theme plugins, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, please deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Please make sure that the theme system status is configured as mentioned in the requirements guide. Please follow the guide carefully
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps.
WP_MEMORY_LIMIT try to increase it to a value of double you already have if possible.
Please add this code in the .htaccess file:
<IfModule mod_substitute.c>
SubstituteMaxLineLength 10M
</IfModule>
If there is still a problem, you can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login. We will take a look. Include a link to this topic in the email.
