Hi,
I have recently upgraded my system from newsletter 8.8 to 9.0 and after that I also upgraded the td composer as well. But for some reason I get the error
“tagDiv Composer were disabled because they are incompatible with this version of Newspaper”
I tried to overwrite all the files from plugins folder of td-composer, I tried to manually install the theme from newspaper plugins section… tried to delete theme and re-install from the files downloaded from your systen but nothing worked… I just can’t activate the plugin… same also applies to td-social counter.
My version of td-composer is 2.3… please help.
regards
Solved, the problem was the wpide plugin. Disabling it fixed the td composer.
Hello,
Two installation problems:
1. When we try to upload Newspaper using WordPress, we immediately get this message:
< The link you followed has expired.
Please try again. >
We tried adding the theme on two different servers, same results.
2. We then uploaded it manually using FTP, and then we get problems with the td-composer plugin. After activating it, we get a blank screen, and then we need to deactivate it using FTP.
What can be wrong here?
Kind regards,
Martin.
Hi, i have a website and when i will try to enter by mobile website i have this error .

Hello eworld007,
Maybe your images are stuck in opacity 0. This usually happens on a js error caused by plugins or customization or other external optimization tools. Please disable all plugins except visual composer or TD Composer, clear cache and reset CDN files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functioning of the theme.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for the message!
Hello Angela,
I guess that you want to use TD Composer? Please notice that all of the Visual Composer shortcodes are recognized from TD Composer and if you want to make this transition between Visual Composer and TD Composer, try to consult the following useful guide from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/
Thanks for your understanding!
Simion, I have no idea why it works on your setup and not on mine. After deactivating TD Composer, I get the cart to display in the sidebar:

Hello frau1983,
If you are using a Single Post Template for article posts, notice that you can use TD Composer to add your sidebar everywhere you want, using the Widgetized sidebar and if not, you can choose your Sidebar position from Theme panel -> https://www.screencast.com/t/NqLfMn5QKKB1
Thanks.
Thank you Catalin. I tried installing it just now but here is the error I’m getting
“The plugin does not have a valid header.
Downloading installation package from https://businesseye.ng/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/plugins/td-composer.zip?uid=5b717e3952817…
Download failed. cURL error 35: gnutls_handshake() failed: A TLS fatal alert has been received.
Hello Business Eye,
Do you have installed the TD Composer or not? Check here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/pdiSi6HZAlW and install it from that section. Try this and let us know how it goes.
Thanks.
Hello BazooQa,
Notice that Visual Composer is not a required plugin. All the VC shortcodes are recognized by TD Composer. Please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/
Thanks for the message!
You could design post templates with the composer and cloud library plugin
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
Create a post template with a background colors for the rows for example. This will not cause the boxed layout to be forced.
Or with CSS even – https://www.screencast.com/t/YJqVqSgL26q
This code will affect all posts, it can be made more precise if needed
.single article {
background-color: lightgrey;
}
.single article .td-container {
background-color: #fff;
padding-left: 48px;
padding-right: 48px;
}
Also, I’ve only ever used TD composer, ever since i bought the newspaper theme my WPbakery builder has never even worked.
Hi,
So you want to use the tagDiv composer or WPBakery? Both work properly with the theme. We still provide the WPBakery plugin and update it regularly.
First be sure to check the updated theme requirements guide, top to bottom
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
If there is no need for modifications in that matter, in some cases the solutions from these topics worked for tagDiv composer problems, you could give them a try if possible
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/gray-page-tagdiv/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/javascript-error-td-composer-wont-load/
Let us know if there is still a problem.
Thanks
Hello nouveau,
Where exactly you want to move the Widget element? Provide some useful screenshots of the desired position. Notice that the Widget element can be added with TD Composer, being a simple element.
Thanks for the message!
Hello thoughtful,
Unfortunately, the TD Composer has not been designed to be used for creating a post with this builder, sorry! Also, you can try to activate and use the Visual Composer for posts pages but this is not tested with the theme. If you want to have this feature, you should switch your theme to Newspaper.
Thanks for your understanding!
I received a security warning from VaultPress and they looked into it and said that td-composer is triggering a security warning due to an unsanitized PHP global variable being used to include or require other files. This poses a security risk for your site and should be addressed.
I recently installed the Gutenberg editor and TD-cloud – theme and all plug-ins are up-to-date.
What are my next steps? (in detail please, I am not an advanced user).
Hello,
I am creating a webpage using Newspaper Theme and I am trying to add a specific element – for example Big Grid 8 – beneath the header but upon the content of a subpage. While I can do it using TD Composer, I can’t figure out how to make it to be added to each subpage like for example blog posts without manual adding it in TD Composer.
Is there any way to do it without modifying the template’s code?
Hi I just updated to the latest Newspaper 9 theme and now I have lost the TD Composer Functionality. Doesnt appear on the top bar or inside the interface when you edit a page/post.
Help Please
SOLUTION: Puzzled solved.
The issue was TD Composer. Once that is enabled, it prevents the normal assigning of templates and sidebars to individual pages. The pages that already had the customised sidebar were done before I installed TD Composer.
I temporarily disable TD Composer (which caused my home page to go kaput) assigned the template and sidebar I wanted and then activated TD Composer again.
Now this worked okay because it is in development, but on a live site, this just may not be possible. Do you have a solution?
Thanks
Terry
P.S. In addition, I’ve other other pages that are not using TD Composer that have two layout formats – one is a two-column format (content + sidebar) but with a blank sidebar. The other format is just one column. I have been searching through the theme panel but cannot locate how I manage to achieve these and I am unable to replicate them.
I managed to paint myself into a corner and I don’t know how I got there 🙁
I have created a number of pages which have a Navigation sidebar. I can’t figure out how I got that Navigation sidebar to display.
When I created the pages, I used the Default Template which does not allow me to select a sidebar. I also did not use TD Composer. I just typed in the content.
It’s a really odd question … but do you know how I managed to get the sidebar on these pages with the Default Template?
I Installed JS composer a month ago and it was working fine. This morning I looked and saw that it does not show when I’m attempting to edit a page (I only see TD composer). I even deleted the original JS composer plugin from my plugins folder and reinstalled the plugin. Still no JS composer. I checked another one of of my websites and noticed it does not show there either.
My Point is…
You should also make 2 versions of demos,
One version based on TdComposer and
Second version based on WpBakery Pagebuilder
That way..when one faces errors using TDComposer their work wont suffer as they will have Visual composer to fall back upon.
If that makes sense…
That is all I want to say…
Are you you going to release an update or something?
When I install the TD Composer plugin (from folder 9.0, 9.01) and activating it, I get this message:
PLUGINS DISABLED AUTOMATICALLY
The following plugins were disabled because they are incompatible with this version of Newspaper:
tagDiv Composer
