I´ve purchased this great theme. But is there a way to copy a demo layout, so I don´t have to build it own my on with TD composer? I have several sites and would like to use the https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/homepage-newspaper/ design for it? Is there any way?

I’m using an outdated Newspaper version right now, just haven’t gotten around to updating it ’cause I’ve made changes to the core files and need to back them up, etc. I’m also using an old Visual Composer — but I’d like to keep it that way because I’m using the now deprecated Tabs feature (which I want to keep). Am I at risk for losing the Tabs feature if I update Newspaper? Thanks.
We had major CPU issues on our old system with Visual Composer, and found the TD Composer solution the best fit for us (we were using old ‘shim’ solution originally). We’d get spikes going from .9 to 72 !~ …
Several things
a) make sure you have PHP 5.6 or higher. 5.4 and below are *dogs* and should no longer be used for WordPress. PERIOD.
b) doubly make sure you have at least 64M allocated to WP in both your host settings and in your wp-config.php file (we do 128M and above, but another story)
c) make sure you periodically optimize your DB with WP-Optimize of similar
d) limit queries “per page” — for example, no more than 5 “block items” per page

1. in TD composer, How can I simply change the number of columns of an element like element: block 16.
Personally, I prefer the visual composer, is it available for me to use with Newspaper, it does ask for a subscription?
2. Can I create my own page template?
just to let you know there is a problem with the TD Composer/Element: Text with title
when you click ‘Edit Content’ the popup appears but the loading circle never ends to display the box to edit the html ‘Html code here! Replace this with any non empty text and that’s it.’
I used Visual Composer to change this, but thought you should know about the above 😉

Please notice that at the latest theme version we have released our page builder which is named TD Composer and also, wich come ready installed with the theme. Also, please notice that if you will install the Visual Composer, besides this plugin, notice that might appears some conflicts. At http://GGG.at I changed the title grid to Full Big Grid 8 – but with TD composer I couldn’t make it full-width, only row-width. Does somebody have an idea what I can do?

When i set a page with TD Composer, the page show up good in desktop view, but the mobile version is completly blank…
I tried to disable “tagDiv Mobile Theme” and all work good. Please, can you solve my problem?

Unfortunately, I do not exactly understand what you mean and what you are referring to. Please notice that our theme does not have any such an option to restrict you some elements, sorry! Notice that you can use TD Composer which is our recommended page builder and Visual Composer which is an optional plugin. First of all, please ensure that you are using the latest theme version, check your system status parameters to be right increased according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ and then, clear all the caches and check the results.
If is not what you mean, please provide more details so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.

Thank you for choosing newspaper.
1) Sorry but the blocks will not inherit the category tag color. The category tag color is working exclusively on posts in our theme. The color will only show up on posts like so: https://www.screencast.com/t/j4aBKZlEfg4z
2) Some of the modules have these options hidden as a design choice in order not to crowd up the small thumb. Modules mx25 and mx26 do not have the markup in the code added to them. If you need to activate the date and author on these modules you will have to modify the module files like so:

3) Thank you for your suggestion. We do plan on adding more and more features to the tagdiv composer. For now you can hide the metas with css for each module in particular. Here is a list of what module is used on which block: https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-blocks-modules/
4) You can use the translation settings to change the name for theme elements:

I get this error at the top of the page when trying to use td composer :
Errors happened during _initStructureData() -> _getData()!
I want to add some links with some photos in them, to open pages from professionals.

with td composer not have blocks than visual composer, and the site does not appear than in the your ad without visual composer… here is the scam… you present one theme after which We find that it necessary another plugin, visual composer, because TDCOMPOSER does not create a site as shown in pictures… Deliver a full theme at the full price, and no one can object to anything, but to make the price seem acceptable, you did as quackets…

Strange thing is… I don’t get the redirect loop timeout when I activate td_composer with twenty-twenty, only when using Newspaper theme (which is a clean install of the theme).

However, the site is loading an insecure asset 14.jpg. It seems that it’s being loaded by this script:

I did not upload this “14.jpg” image file. It does not exist on the Media Library, too.
I need your help because this is causing jayceedeguzman.com not to show the security padlock (SSL).
I have eliminated the issue down to strangely enough, the “Newspaper” theme.
I can enable td_composer with standard wp theme, but it seems to have this redirect issue when logging into dashboard or login page only when “Newspaper” theme is installed.
Again, all plugins disabled using default .htaccess and wp-config.php files.
I’m running on a dedicated server with cPanel and CloudLinux installed. All systems go in Newspaper’s System Status in theme panel.
Question… could there have a been a theme update in the past 10 months that would have made a database change? I deleted entire “Newspaper” directory and re-uploaded new folder with version 8.
I have nothing else to eliminate. Or do I? Maybe I can reupload a fresh wordpress install.
What should I do?
I have a multi-site and td_composer works fine. Must be something else going on.
Apparently there is a bug when using Greek characters and window.btoa in a raw_html component on the tagdiv composer. This issue is expected as the btoa function does not work on non latin-1 charsets. So with UTF-8 characters you need to use btoa along with some other functions as described below.
Change the following files inside the plugins/td-composer/assets/js:
js_files_for_wrapper.min.js
js_files_for_widget.min.js
Find and replace the following:
window.btoa(a.val());
with the following:
window.btoa(unescape(encodeURIComponent(a.val())));
Server-side base64_decode works fine as I have tested on PHP 7.
I’m having no luck getting td_composer plugin to work on my site.
Problem: Once plugin is activated, I can’t access backend of my site – page just won’t load. After pages stalls, I can’t access any pages on my site frontend or backend until I delete td_composer, clear cache, and completely restart browser.
Could this have something to do with it being a multi site install of wordpress? I very much want to transition to the new composer, but after two days of trying everything already suggested, I don’t know how much more time and energy I can expend.
