I’ve deactivated all plugins except for WPBakery Visual Composer and the theme, but that did not resolve the issue. I also tried to update the WPBakery Visual Composer to the last version 5.4.7, but is the same. Can you help me please?

There is a call to action element in the tagDiv composer, but the composer can only be used on pages at the moment, not posts. There are plans to change this functionality in a future update of the theme.

It’s been a while where my comment count is at zero, when I do have comments in the post.
I have been using the Newspaper theme for a while, I didn’t change anything. I always update the theme, and never had this issue.
I am currently using the version prior to this release Newspaper 8.6. I am using the latest version of Disqus. I don’t believe this has anything to do with it because the comments were at zero on the previous release.

Hover Colour:
my site has the fitness demo installed. I changed the theme accent colour to my preferred colour, yet the site is showing the demo’s original colour and my preferred colour choice for the site at the same time.
Sidebars:
Before the update, I was able to adjust the widget sidebars within posts by having access to css which for some I am hoping good reason, the tagdiv team made the decision to remove that option, so now i am stuck with ads overlapping each other. Basically the sidebar ad is overlapping the ad above post title when you open an article.
It will be a big theme update so it might take a while. I could not give you an exact timeline, as soon as all the tasks are done it will be available.

I could not say exactly if there will be modifications to the title headings in the next update. I believe there are some more important tasks to be completed at the moment. It is hard for the developer team to prioritize these tasks. Maybe in a future update you will be able to have more control over the headings.
I found the 1.1 Amp Plugin update fixed my errors with inline css styles.

The solution is a temporary fix and not an official implementation yet. If the solution does not work for you, then you will either have to check the implementation again and clear all caching or wait for a theme update as it is not yet an official code. It is a quick fix we made to help our users. It could not work for everybody.

The problem with the ticker is that the text color applies as background, not font color. The issue will be fixed in the next theme update. You can use the code I provided to change the color of the text

Yes, for functionality and customization of the page to my liking I would prefer to use blocks to build the category pages. But I was worried about the SEO implications. Will do more research on this.
About the category implementation update you talked about, when do you expect to roll it out?

Our theme does not change the emails sent by wp so it is the default WP email sent, unchanged by any theme code.
We will change the ‘index’ to ‘inbox’ in the new theme update.

You could the article top ad if you want to display and ad in the beginning of the post, that would be better then the inline ad. In the post content at the moment there are 3 article ad positions

I’m running Newspaper 8.5, but when I click update in the Envato Market plug-in, nothing happens. I want to upgrade to 8.7.2. How do I fix this?

We wanted to chage the header background, but it is only visible in the admin area.
If you see it in incognito mode, no background there.
Very wierd. I tried to disable cache plugins, cleared, flushed all cache with no result.
I also updated the theme.
In admin the backgrounds are perfect. But just if you log in.

I have tagDiv composer installed and active but it doesn’t appear anywhere. I only get option for WP Bakery Page Builder. If I de-activate WP Bakery, then I still don’t see any options for tagDiv composer.

Instagram updated the data structure. There is not yet an update released by Tag Div, but they said it would be fixed in the next update. I wrote my own fix link included to updated code. If you update the theme directory update the file /includes/wp_booster/td_instagram.php

Yes. The theme guarantees lifetime updates with every purchase. But you will have to pay if you want the support to be extended (beyond these forums I guess).
