I have been using the “Smart List” (Smart List 1 Template) since v.8 Newspaper with no problem. Since the update to v.8.7.2 a strange thing has happened. From numbers 1 to 10 on the Smart List the list works fine, scrolling “Prev” or “Next” within the Smart List. When I place the 11th entry in Smart List, rather than create Number 11 as an independent entry, the number 11 entry goes beneath number 10. The 11th entry appears with its proper number and title, but falls beneath the 10th listing. This repeats for 12, 13 and 14, and so on. I have checked the Heading Tags, which are “Heading 3 H3 Tag”, they are all consistent. The first time this happened I though it was just some strange goof, but it happens consistently at the number 10 entry on the Smart List. Appreciate your assistance with fixing this as I cannot go past number 10 when using the Smart List, template 1.

There is no error, please ignore that message. There is no need to activate bundled versions of Visual composer. When an update is released for Visual composer we will include it in the theme package, when the theme is also updated

Everyone want to show date of last update for their posts. Search engine should also be able to read your date of last update. Is team working on this? If yes, when this option will be in theme by default.
Since the last update and the changes made to the Social Counter the sharing buttons load much slower than the rest of the page now. Is this normal with new version of tagDiv Social Counter? Before the sharing buttons and icons loaded about the same speed as the rest of the pages.

The Envato plugin may not be the best method to update. There are other more reliable methods

Hi there,
Since updating to the latest newspaper version I’ve come across a bug when using TD Composer. When using header 6 for text widget elements the option to choose the color no longer comes up. Also not sure if this is related by as seen in the image the top styling of TG composer looks odd, it’s been like that for a while before the update but isn’t a major issue.

Please download the latest version (8.7.2) from themeforest and then use the FTP method to update the theme. Afterwards, please make sure you update the theme plugins as well because they will not update automatically. Disable and delete the current ones you have installed now and then install them again from the theme plugins section.

Indeed, the bundled version cannot be activated. But you do not need to because you already have full access to the plugin features without activation.

Maybe the theme did not update or install properly. Please download the theme package again and try again to install it, by FTP would be the most recommended method

Deactivate and remove the tagDiv composer and multi-purpose plugins, then install them again from the latest theme package.
Additionally deactivate all other plugins, do not enter any code in the theme files, temporarily switch to the main theme if you use a child theme. Let us know the results.

It is important that there are sufficient resources allocated by the server

Test with no other plugins except theme plugins active, or child theme active.
The latest update fixed the issues for the majority of users, if there are more issues we will identity them and fix them. You could update the theme to the latest version (8.7.2), this contains the fix for the issue. Also many more improvements have been made over the 8.7.1 version you are using. See the theme update changelog here
