Hello, I just updated to the newest version of the theme and now the Weather widget isn’t working. It is saying:
“Api key is empty. Configure this block/widget and enter an api key :)”

You should only use one composer for the website. Using both page builders can lead to conflict, or elements not displaying properly. Not to mention that if you were to edit pages created in Visual composer for example, with the tagDiv composer, this will result in problems.
You will have to make a decision and choose what you think it’s best. Note that the future updates will bring many more options and features in the tagDiv composer only. Take that into consideration if possible.

If you should decide to switch to the tagDiv composer, all pages created with Visual composer will have to be recreated. This composer is created specially for our themes, meaning it is more optimized and tuned.
Elements specific to Visual composer are not available in the tagDiv composer. We plan to add more original elements, options and features added exclusively for the tagDiv composer. This will happen in future updates.
You could wait and see what these updates will bring and make a decision then.
Maybe set up a sub-domain and install the theme there, and make tests with the tagDiv composer.

Phrase “at” must be translated. In our language we don’t use something like “at”, so i must edit comments.php and delete that phrase and remember that after update i must do the same … Also “at” is in English …
If we can translate that phrase, then there is no problems after update.

I don’t think there are plans to make this modification to the sharing. You can make the the change in a child theme, so it will not be lost when the theme is updated

I have more than 40 categories..
With what you are saying now, i cant display all my categories for my users unless i use something like a tag cloud in the footer or somewhere else.
This should be added on your next theme update please.

There is an option to set custom classes for the available text elements

You can then create your custom design based on the class set there. Custom CSS entered in the them panel will be saved in the database. It will not be lost when the theme is updated.

By the way getting a new API key doesn’t work for me because of the limits imposed by the openweather people. One call per second! You should be releasing a complete product not a hamstrung version that is meant to force you to subscribe to openweather’s monthly service plan which ends up costing $480.00 per year for the basic package and the other plans are $180.00 per month to $2000.00 per month. That’s 10 times more than the cost of the theme itself just for 1 year of basic weather. There are other plugins that you include and they would not update unless you pay. This is a bait and switch which ends up costing plenty to get the full functionality from the plugins you sell with the package. I will not buy your hamstrung goods products again!

We updated WordPress and featured images stopped showing on the homepage. They’re still showing within articles and on category pages, just not on the homepage. We are using the most up to date version of Newspaper 7.

I went through the forum and saw people advising users to turn off plugins and check to see which one could be causing the issue. I did that but couldn’t get the images to load back (even after resetting the cache).
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, sorry, another newbie question. I need to have some special styling on some text blocks such as colored background with padding. I did it with in-line style currently but would love to know that where can I add the CSS style so that elements with the class names will have the same style throughout the site. Also, customized CSS style won’t be wiped out with wordpress or theme update, right? Thanks so much!

The social Instagram count worked properly in older versions of the theme as well, for that time period. Worth mentioning that the social counter code may have changed during updates to adapt for changes in the socials implementation.
Try downloading the latest theme package and install the social counter plugin from there. Configure it and see if it displays accurate information

The problem is with openweathermap.org. I changed these values and the fix worked for about 12 hours. Openweathermap.org fixed the security issue and the browser stopped reporting the insecure scripts from their website but the updates from the website stopped and I had enough of their crap and I deleted their td-weather widget and purchased one that works! Apparently tag div is selling a defective product! I emailed tag div and they responded with an email that said they would fix it in the next release. It has been over a month without any fix! I started this thread!

Iām trying to set this up so that the next update to WooCommerce or perhaps the theme itself wonāt wipe out any changes Iāve made.
Is it as simple as copying the product-archive.php file, making changes to the file and placing it in a woocommerce subdirectory of the child theme?
Also you describe that feature in the update ”Version 8.0 ā May 24rd, 2017” in Themeforest as: “new: Live frontend LESS and CSS editor. This allows you to quickly add CSS or LESS quick to any page of your site”
