You need to purchase a copy and activate it. But do not update to version 5.2, it does not work with this Theme.

Did you check F12/console for errors in browser? Javascript errors might block the GA code.

Did you check your GA console for errors?

Did you check your post content still has the tracker in place?

Theme has no control over tracking — only places the code into your HTML. Nothing else. if it’s there in your code when doing view source, and you have no JS errors, nothing to do with the theme.

Typically for best support, it’s good to identify what steps you took to debug a “sudden error” — did you update something? What did you check to determine the problem? Only you can manage your own website. Theme is only tiny portion of your site, hosting, plugins, WordPress, etc.

Hello,

The selected category has (4) posts assigned to it. It’s pulling the correct posts, except the order is not randomized.

We do not have server-level caching enabled, or any active plugins that affect caching. Is there anything else it could be? We also updated to the latest version of the theme recently (version 8.0).

Any updates? In the settings, I have the tag line disabled. Will that be the reason?

Everything including the Newspaper theme settings is duplicated/migrated properly.
I was just trying to update all URLs that have hostname (localhost) in the body of all posts to have the right hostname.
Everything is good and all the URLs now have the right hostname once I searched and replaced the hostname and imported back to DB but the Newspaper theme settings I have changed and saved are lost.
Does anyone have any ideas?

WHY NOT ROLL BACK TO PRIOR VERSION WHILE LEARNING TO TRANSITION TO NEW VERSION?

ANY MAJOR THEME UPGRADE IS LIKE INSTALLING A NEW THEME; IT IS NOT JUST A BUG/FEATURE UPDATE. RTFM BEFORE UPGRADING THEMES TO MAJOR VERSIONS; DON’T UPGRADE THEMES DURING MISSION CRITICAL AD CAMPAIGNS.

DONT USE VISUAL COMPOSER AND TD COMPOSER AT SAME TIME.

YOU MAY NEED TO RECREATE YOUR LANDING PAGE WITH NEW SETTINGS, IF USING THE NEW VERSION OR CHOOSING TO MOVE TO TD COMPOSER VS VISUAL COMPOSER.

Hey, thanks for this and I have a somewhat easier way of implementing an alternate sort, in my case sort posts by last MODIFIED date, not last PUBLISHED date. With my method you have to “sacrifice” one of the existing sorts and in my case I decided to replace the “Oldest posts” since I know I would not ever use that one.

It’s only two files you need to change, make sure you back them up and also understand that when you do a theme update these will be overwritten so you will want to keep copies. These apply to v. 8 of the theme.

First make the below changes to includes/td_config.php, starting at line 7351:

Then make this change to includes/wp-booster/td_data_source.php, starting at line 116:

That’s it. Now when you are doing a grid sort you will see Modified date instead of Oldest posts. This is sorting most recently modified first (‘DESC’) but if for some reason you wanted the oldest by modified date you could change it to ‘ASC’.

Also, in case anyone is not aware of this, there is a free plugin called “Last Modified Timestamp” that will add a Last Modified Date column to your Posts and Pages admin screens. For what we do as a newspaper, in most cases the last time o post was modified is much more important than the published date of a post as far as which posts to display in the grid(s).

Fact that you have no experience and support about dfp in your theme sounds for me like you never used mobile phone in 2017….
It’s not so big deal and you should have solution for it ASAP, now, for us users some things with code must be done manually, and when you update theme all goes to hell…
