Please also test this on a default theme to see if the slider works properly. There could be a setting somewhere ins the slider settings.
If on the default theme the slider is able to play the video on tables and mobiles, then please try to update your theme to the latest version and test the slider again.

Please keep in mind that for each theme update you should make a full backup of your database to be safe. Notice that in each upgrade the theme changes some files and that’s why you will loose your customizations, sorry! Be more carefully in this regard, and you will have to make it again.

If you want to update the theme, you should download the latest version of it from Theme Forest account and download it. Then, you should make a full backup to your database to be safe and then, via FTP you should update the theme according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/

You should interrupt the process and try to update the theme via FTP way because this is the surest method in this regard. using the Envato Plugin, it is possible to appear some errors during the update which can influence this process. Please notice that exists a lot of online tools for CSS validator. So, please keep in mind that our theme has not been tested with this W3C CSS Validator. You should check your page with Structure Data Testing Tool by Google, like this -> https://search.google.com/structured-data/testing-tool because this is the reference tool in this regard. We will make some further investigation and if we find something that must be fixed we will do it in future updates.

No,there was no update done to the smart lists for the moment. This has not been approved by the development team yet so I cannot say for sure the smart lists will even be adjusted for all to show the description until the development team decide on it as they decide what gets implemented in the theme.

In a future update, it is possible but we cannot say for sure if it will get done in the next update because we have a big list of fixes, improvements, and suggestions to implement. It’s hard to filter them and select which one gets implemented now and which one gets postponed. The developers decide if it gets done or not, though.

I have no clue what hack you are referring to but you use a very old version of our theme. If you are refeering to the latest wordpress version then you should update your theme. There is no way a theme from 2014 will work with a wordpress version released in 2017. You will have to update your theme. Please use this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ and check the section describing the update from newspaper 4.

We have not encountered this issue before but you should update your theme to newspaper 7 at least as we cannot guarantee newspaper 6’s functionality with the latest plugin versions and the recent WP versions. Please use this guide to update: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/

It could be, as the plugin is not tested and untested plugin could become incompatible after an update. We always make the proper adjustments for each tested plugin but we cannot do this for every plugin out there.

You can find the list of changes in the last theme update here – https://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/5489609 @Mochal Probably your menu items do not fit in the available space in the header menu so they are being displayed in a second row, if you could provide a link to your website I can take a look and try to give you a solution if possible. Try modifying your fonts again in Theme panel->Theme fonts for the elements you want, and clear your cache after the changes.

@Incrosnatu Where exactly are the sidebars not showing? Try setting a sidebar again for your pages and posts or categories.

I understand but you should also be careful with plugins especially if they are not tested and recommended with our theme. For each plugin marked as tested and recommended we create the proper implementation for them on each update. We cannot do this for every plugin out there. A plugin could be compatible with one version and become incompatible in a theme update. This is the case with plugins as they are created for the standard wordpress code and premium themes are custom made.

From what I can see your site is not displaying properly, at the moment it is full width so you can not see the background behind it, you should try to disable all the plugins except Visual composer and make sure you use the latest version of this plugin – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ clear the cache and purge cdn files if you use it.
