I tested this again on our testing platform and the error is not there anymore. Please update your theme to the latest version and disable the mobile theme plugin. delete files and install it again from the new theme package you download from envato.

Unfortunately, the mobile theme does not have any placeholder for blocks when the featured image is not active. I have added to our list of improvements and we will try fixing it in near future updates.

Just now noticed that address bar has strange text “Not secure”. Please find the attached screenshot for reference. I have latest theme 3.3.1.
Dear Support,
Updated the theme to version 7.6 from v7.4 as well as the tdi-api-plugin to v1.02. All my custom blocks disappeared and no longer working even if the files under the modules folder are restored.
What would be the best way to restore these customised blocks?

The theme update should not influence your theme structure, sorry! Do you update your theme via FTP way? I have checked on my side and the theme seems to work as properly and also, the mobile theme, as well. Try to revert the theme to the default state, without using some untested plugins which can interact with the theme packet and cause a lot of unknown issues. I have checked your theme console and I noticed that you have some errors through it which come from your theme customizations, sorry! You should get rid of them and then check the results. If the problem is still there, you should make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way and check the results. By default, the theme works as properly and it is mobile friendly.

Unfortunately there is no simple solution for this issue. It would help having a remove ad shortcode as you mention above but functionality for that must be created at a development stage. I will add this to our list for future updates but for now there is no simple way of removing and ad from a specific page or post.
I will pass this information on to the development team and maybe they will consider implementing it in future updates but I cannot promise anything as we have lots of requests.

Unfortunately the update from 3.0 to 3.3 contains lots of files needed to be changed, not just the login modal php. It will not work if you only update the one file. We suggest making a back-up of your modifications and updating the theme properly using this method: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
You cna try to replace just the one file but I cannot guarantee it will work. I recommend updating properly as the versions are too far apart to just update a few files. The code gets changed on each update and the theme could break if you try to trick the update process in just replacing a few files. All of them need to be changed as there are lots of files that are changed since 3.0

Until now, we do not make any improvements in this regard, sorry! In a future update, it is possible but we cannot say for sure if it will get done in the next update because we have a big list of fixes, improvements, and suggestions to implement. It’s hard to filter them and select which one gets implemented now and which one gets postponed. The developers decide if it gets done or not, though.

After the most recent update, the post editor returned to only allowing text halfway across the input box. I tried to follow the directions to remove this from the past, but editor-style.css has changed and I cannot figure it out.
Can someone tell me what to delete so I can type across the entire post editor?
I must say, I love this theme except for this. It is extremely annoying and I wish there an an easy button to turn it off!

The user had same issues with free template thing. When they asked about this Plugin developer, they blamed ( or escalated ) theme authors for not including this free template bundle into the theme pack.
I think the total download size of all these free templates shouldn’t cross 1 or 2 MB. Having said I am not asking you to integrate these free templates into the theme, nor I am asking you to include it in every new update. All I am saying is to give us the download links of a free “Revolution sliders template bundle” when any of us enquired about it.

I have been facing this issue since couple of weeks. Whenever I try to edit any of already published posts and click on UPDATE post button. It takes really long time and then it will give me oops error 404.
But if I go back to the original post after 404 error – I could see that the post is updated with latest edited information. Any idea?
This issue is not there when I update the draft posts. Similar issue with comments. If I try to reply comments from wp-admin. It takes ages but never shows as completed.
Featured Images showing small / wrong size – after latest update.
I did some research and tried running the thumbnail resizer and tested my content halfway through to see its results and realized it was creating MORE of the problem instead of fixing the problem that just started (after latest theme update). So I stopped resizer but now many of my featured images are showing as smaller/incorrect size.
I turned off all plugins, went to newspaper base theme (not child) and confirmed that the preview images do not show at full size, they are all smaller and don’t look as good now.
Can you help please? This makes the whole site look bad, it’s heavy content for a magazine publisher with many articles. Example page where most images are now small – publisher’s note still showing correct width: http://mauimagazine.net/read/

Hi there,
I have had several problems with Newspaper Theme, I thought the problem was related to the theme updates, but after having made it the issues were not fixed:
1.The sidebar that I had set disappeared, are not displayed in the widget either, even though I see the records in the database.
2.Actually it does not keep CSS styles that I had set.
3.Now, a double footer is displayed, the one set by me and the default footer of the theme which I can not turn it off.
I urgently need to fix these issues, please let me know what happened and how can I fix it.

You should install the theme via FTP way because this is the surest method in this regard. While searching on various other threads on the same topic, I noticed that there are ways to hide ads from the specific page using following code:

Notice : the .td-g-rec class is only for a Google Adsense AD and .td-a-rec for other ads.
Though, it is also discussed that to hide Adsense ads might go against Google’s policy. So, its better not to hide the ad but to stop ad placeholder from loading.

Isn’t their any way to simply remove all ad placeholder from loading on any specific post? Please give a try to a solution for this.
You can very well notice that this issue is being faced by all of us, no matter whether they are aware of it or not.
I also noticed that many times, in other threads, it was advised to install any other plugins like Adrotate or QUAD.
I have a simple response on this. When we already have such a robust ad management system in-built in our theme, why should I use a new plugin for it? Shouldn’t we always try to keep numbers of plugins as low possible?
The ad-slots under TagDiv theme Ad manager is ( by default) built by taking Adsense into the consideration. Even Adsense examples are mentioned there, then why shouldn’t we try to improve its functionality rather than telling to use a new plugin?
I know that not everything can be integrated into a theme but if you do have such function. Please try to perfect it in future updates.
Just to give an example. There is a very popular theme on Themeforest called “BIMBER,” the developer didn’t want to work on ad section of the theme so, they collaborated with QUAD team and added the seamless ad-management system with this plugin.
But, since here we already have a very robust ad management option, we must try to make it fully worth of having it.

It is strange…sorry! Please notice that our theme update does not influence your databases and you should not have to happen to you so. If you are using some untested plugins, you should try to disable all of them, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. It is possible that your untested plugins used by you to interact with the theme core files and cause these unknown issues.
