I have mail poet working on my previous theme. I updated to Newmag and now it doesn’t work. I contacted plugin support and they say that it is incompatibility with the theme and asked me to contact theme support. Here is the error link here

Perhaps it may be easier to delete all displayed dates and meta only for older posts, for example those older than one year? In this case, how could I do?

Try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches than test again. Also make sure that you’re using last theme version available on themforest, V 2.3.6, and also update Visual Composer at v 4.11.2. After WordPress updated at V 4.5 there appeared a jQuery conflict in our theme. We fixed this conflict and the current theme version available on themeforest works fine, also we included last version of Visual Composer plugin.
Try to update the theme at V 2.3.6, and Visual Composer at V 4.11.2 following our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/ – https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ deactivate all other plugins, clear all caches and test again.

This issue was caused by the new version of WP. Please update your theme using this guide:

I have everything green on the backend. EXCEPT THIS
max_input_vars 1000 – the max_input_vars should be bigger than 2000, otherwise it can cause incomplete saves in the menu panel in WordPress. To see how you can change this please check our guide here.
This is my HTACCESS FILE but it doesn’t update the input vars, but that should prevent the demo from installing. The car demo works fine. its the default one that i need installed

So my visual composer isn’t working and I haven’t updated my theme in a few releases? Do I have to do so to get VC to work?

Your theme is perfect. One reason why I buy it is your perfect login form. It is cool but have one issue.
If you have standard users like Administrator you can login properly and everything is OK.
I have membership site and I have S2 members system plugin. If user have S2 member level membership and when try log by your login form. Login is jammed and you must hit F5. If page refresh. You are logged.
For better show this issue I made for you test site and test accounts. I will be happy if you can fix this issue in your future updates.

Login with – tagdiv1/tagdiv – User as author – fully functional
Login with – tagdivs2/tagdiv – User as S2 member member – login jam (you must hit F5 to proper login)
I test it on more sites and same issue is everywhere. I will be happy if you can solve this login form issue in your future update.

I tried going through all my plugins and clearing my cache but the issue still persists. I also tried the plugin JQuery Updater but that didn’t seem to do anything.
Any recommendations?
Top of the Morning! After the last update of Newspaper and Visual Composer I received this message in the administration panel “Important notice: You have an outdated version of Visual Composer Design Options. It is required to review and save it. ” After trying to get to the design options page twice, it states I do not have sufficient access. I contacted those at Visual Composer, after they were given temporary access. They mentioned that the theme developer would have disabled that page from within their panel. Can you confirm that’s true, and would it be possible for it to be brought back?

The audio post format is on our update list and we will try to implement it in a future version, but I cannot say for sure when this will happen. I cannot promise it will be in the next version though. Until such time, you can use this guide if you have coding knowledge to try and implement it:

Unfortunately, I have done a lot of investigation and indeed, it is a mini bug in our theme. I have added to our list of fixes and in next update, we will fit it. Until this, you can use a bit of CSS code.

Hi,
Please delete the plugin and then add the plugin by uploading it from the plugins folder that we included with the themes files.
It should work, if not please update the theme and try again the same way but try to add the VC plugin without any other ones that could create a conflict.

Please try to check your htaccess or disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files.

Hi, In our posts the ‘visual’ or ‘TEXT’ tab in the WP WSYIWYG editor is not showing on our install. We can only edit in text mode and can’t switch.
Installed the Tiny MCE advanced plugin to see if this fixed but no luck.
Have updated to WP 4.5 and tested in Chrome and IE, Edge.

Not sure if it has to do with the WP update but Visual Composer wont let me make a new page and add its settings. I am trying to add in the YouTube video player so when I click on the link to add the YouTube player nothing happens. The title of the icon turns black but that is all.

In a future update, it is possible but we cannot say for sure if it will get done in the next update because we have a big list of fixes, improvements, and suggestions to implement. It’s hard to filter them and select which one gets implemented now and which one gets postponed. The developers decide if it gets done or not, though. Until we can do it, you can use a plugin.
